I was officially the Peacekeeper of legend. I had mental bindings to every single beast affinity in the world to prove it.
Now, if I could just find my pants…
My brothers were back to thinking I had an easy lot in life. They weren’t wrong. It would be a sweet gig.
Sianna would be Overlord. I would be Peacekeeper. We’d have our shared love bonds.
Well. Maybe.
Sigh.
A portion of beast affinities, including my ex-girlfriend, wouldn’t follow Sianna as a leader.
After attacking my family, my circle, and random bystanders, it was clear the opposition didn’t mind collateral damage. If they wouldn’t come at us directly, we’d need to unite the splintered shifter populations and force action.
Could we navigate the politics and negotiations while still holding tight to what mattered?
One thing was certain: I wouldn’t give up the binding again. Not for anything—even if the bindings meant a difficult transition to leadership.
No. If the shifters wanted a fight, they’d get one.
Rise is the jaw-dropping conclusion of the Peacekeeper’s Harmony series.
Ah. The end of Luke's Peacekeeper origin story, but not the end of the Trellis family. Felt like a cliffhanger continuation from the christmas Novella. I was curious why Ree hadn't made an appearance until the end. The missing group chat cleared a lot up, including Sam's apology to Micah. That was cruel but necessary. The whole big bad evil Walker thing is getting a little sad now.
I usually get tired of the main characters ending with a baby on the way, but this one was done in an entertaining way where the entire family (mostly) will end up with sleepless nights around the same time thanks to Luke. Loose ends still with the circle being incomplete and more accordance markings to go around. Looking forward to what comes next. Apart from Ree and maybe Micah's past, I have no idea, although Jen's reason for not joining the circle was horrifying.

I love these series’ so much! I feel like part of this huge, close family. And sexy time….. fire! Luke is amazing :) can’t wait for more books about the Trellis family!
Still enjoying this series and hope there are many more to come. Still one of the most unique paranormal series I've read and I've read way too many of them. Wonderful characters-both main and side characters. Luke just keeps getting even more powerful. Highly recommend to paranormal romance readers.
I love to read this series because it’s a family I’d love to belong too, I just need to get invited to Sunday dinner! This story wraps up the peacekeeper storyline but the great thing is that generally you will still revisit all of the brothers in the next storyline, after all this is a large family. I’m not going to include what the book is about as you can read that on the book page. I really did enjoy this book and the pacing of the story. The Peacekeeper trilogy was a pretty busy story with the introduction of some new characters. Some, I’m not sure the point of as they flipped in and out pretty quickly but maybe they will be in another story down the line. I’ll continue to read Maggie’s books as quickly as she writes them!
I found that there was a little too much info-dumping to reveal new information and character backgrounds, but it was a satisfying conclusion for Luke and Siara, and the epilogue left a cliffhanger for another interesting series about a new type of paranormal in the Circle. -------- Ratings - completed series: #1 Ransom: ★★★☆☆ #2 Reaping: ★★★★☆ #3 Rise (this book): ★★★☆☆
I'm going to review Book 2 (Reaping) and Book 3 (Rise) of this series together because they feel like they're two parts of the same story.
I'm not sure why, but I enjoyed the second and third books in the Peacekeeper trilogy more than I did the first one. Maybe it's because something about the structure of Book 1 - the story starting at the point Luke has his head cut off, and the whole 'telling other-him what happened' shtick - just didn't work for me. It's odd... I didn't mind that structure in the first KC Warlock Weekly book, but maybe it's just a matter of timing and reading the two books too close together.
Or maybe it's just that *I'm* in a slightly better space when I read Books 2 and 3 than I was when I read Book 1. Either way, let's just take the fact that I did enjoy them more than Book 1 and move on.
Books 2 and 3 have Sianna and Luke accepting and developing their relationship while also figuring out how they're going to bring shifter-sorry-beast-affinity culture kicking and screaming out of the dark ages and into the modern world. And perhaps that's part of what I enjoy so much about it - we're past the will-they-won't-they (and also past a lot of the sibling bullying that made me wince so much in Book 1) stages of each plot thread and solidly into the 'yes, they will - but HOW will they make it work', which I find more interesting.
We also have some great new characters with Janie and the not-harem, Ivy, Brody and more.
My only criticism is that I wasn't a fan of Candy's development arc. I really liked her in the Building the Circle series - and in particular, I loved how free and open she was with her casual sexuality. In this series, though? Not so much.
But Candy aside, these two instalments of the series were a fun, light-hearted read that I very much enjoyed coming back to. I know Ms Lily has had a serious shit of a year in 2021, so it might be a while before she publishes anything new, but when she does, I'll be preordering it as soon as I get the notification :-)
I read first series. It was great! Wonderful characters that suck you into their world. But I think this trilogy is my favorite at this point. I own all the books on audio as well. I'm hoping that once she has more novellas done that they will be combined for audio as well. I really think that you need to read first series to understand what is going on in this series. There is a lot of subtext with the characters you might not catch unless you read them all. Its a great ride though so grab a copy and join in on the fun, especially for Sunday dinner! The Call starts this adventure if you want to join at the beginning.
I couldn't put it put it down. Matthew used his power with full control
Luke comes into his full power as Peacekeeper, with detriment to those who attack the innocent.
There is a baby boom, everyone but Talis is expecting! Darla is in Grandma heaven.
Sienna cedes her position of Overlord to her Aunt Ivy. Ivy accepts. John an Elder of the affinities, challenges I to a demonstration. The final transformation has her niece clapping and delighted.
You must add this to your library! This is appropriate for 18 and older. It's a good read. I think it explains enough of the past to make this a stand-alone novel.
This series was even better than the first! And that was 5 stars +!
I love this world, I love this family, I am completely obsessed and need more! Poignant at times, often laugh out loud funny, with characters both bigger than life and all too human. Biggest compliment I can give --I just downloaded The Circle series of 6 to read again! Thank goodness I have a nice long trip across the country this afternoon so I can immerse myself for the next 8 or so hours without anybody bothering me or wanting to be fed!
Rise: A Psychic Shifter Paranormal Romance (Peacekeeper's Harmony Book 3)
What a rollercoaster 🎢 ride for Luke and Sienna! I was a little nervous 😬 at times, but Maggie weaved just the right story for these two strong lovers to find their place in the world 🌎 AMEN 🙏 !!!!
Definitely recommend this book 📕 and every single one of her series.,,, I absolutely adore and love ❤️ this family… wish more would be as close to them with so much LOVE ❤️, AFFECTION 🥰 🥺 and UNITY of a family!!!
I really liked this series about Luke and Sianna. This last book wasn’t my favorite though. People were giving too much information in their speeches. Everyone was pregnant by the end, which was super weird and random. I’ll still give it 4 stars because it didn’t wrap everything up in a cute little bow, but it was satisfying enough, which I appreciated. I always dislike when series are wrapped up and everything is absolutely perfect and there will never be conflict again. This series ended in a way where additional stories can still be written, but it wouldn’t be a travesty if they weren’t

I’ve loved every single book in this series and this one didn’t disappoint! The Trellis family is amazing and readers will wish they were real so that they too could join their family and circle. Maggie M Lily brings all the laughter, joy and contentment with this end to Luke’s story while introducing new and interesting characters you’ll be dying to know more about!!
I love this family! Lily's first few installments sucked me right into the family dynamics. Nothing really was clear plot-wise until the third book but by then i was hooked. Had to read them all... I would rate Lily's writing overall as a 2.5 or so but for her creativity in the Trellis family I'd give her a 4. Original characters, dynamic storyline (although there were lots of things not wrapped up), and great pacing. Sorry there aren't more to read.
I love this family, and they are front and present as Like and Sianna battle their way to a resolution with the various beast affinities. I am sad that this series has come to a close, but I don't think Ms. Lily is finished with the Trellises quite yet.
I loved the family antics and watching each of them come into their powers. The family worked with the Beast Affinities to unite and support change within that community; but, they ensured they remained their own separate group of empowered. I can't wait for Ree's story.
This book continues to feature Luke’s viewpoint with a few others thrown in from time to time. Some of the shifters don’t want him to remain a part of The Circle and go to great lengths to make their point. New allies appear, so many that I have a feeling there will be more books in the future. Oh, and babies! Darla’s going to be in hog heaven.
Michelle M Lily has done it again! Such a unique story about shifters, told with humor and sibling rivalry. If you are bored with the same old paranormal stories, then this is the series you must read!
I couldn't put the book down. This family is great!! They are funny and lovable and Maggie makes you feel as though you are a part of this awesome paranormal reality. ABSOLUTELY Recommend!!!
Really enjoyed this installment. Action packed with lots of love, but also all of the Trellis family laughter. Can't wait for the next book of Maggie's to come out!
I waited to post this review because I was busy binge reading all the books. From start to finish, the series kept me occupied to the exclusion of anything else. Forget cooking and laundry! Can't wait for more books. Please hurry!
Great finish to Luke’s story. A great introduction to the Beast affinities. The epilogue ends on a cliff hangar that was introduced in A Very Merry Mishap. I am looking forward to the next installment of the Trellis Family saga. Great books!
The Trellis family continues to entertain and mystify in this delightful book. The characters grow and relationships deepen. Ms Lily is an excellent storyteller and I look forward to reading more of her work.
I loved the story ! The plot was involved and thought provoking . Loved having so many family members involved! And the humor between all the brothers was entertaining! The whole series was very well written!
I love the way this worked out. No spoilers. But I will say there were a lot of secrets coming out in this book. And there’s a teaser for the next series. Maggie. You need to take a leave of absence from your day job and just write. Hahaha
Action packed with a load of Trellis family love, laughter and strength! Thought this was a perfect display of Luke's Peacekeeper self and a perfect ending for Luke and Sianna's love. But what is going on with poor Ree?! Next spin off please! Well done!
Hunky guys, empowered humans, animal affiliates, syphons, and so much more....i love this series, i hope maggie lily continues there are so many sibling and stories that can go from here.....especially the last chapter...that was just mean.
This was good But after awhile keeping up with the dialog got to be annoying. The felt like it was rambling. This was not a story I felt like I couldn't put down. In fact I almost uninstalled it. I could have just skipped the middle.
Well, Luke and Sianna are very together and all has been sorted out. Lots of babies due to Luke and his power overload with Sianna! Looking forward to the next chapter!
