This is a good book if you are looking to get your Security+. Even if you have Security+, but took an older exam and want to review the new objectives, this would be good. I watch the Mike Chapple videos on LinkedIn learning and read this book and I passed. If you have no knowledge of IT Security you may want to read another book like All-In-One first, then read this. If you are familiar with the basic concepts, this book should be all you need.

A helpful study resource for the Security+ certification. It has a lot more details than I expected based on the "exam cram" title; more details than are listed on the Security+ Exam Objectives, including info that wasn't included in other study materials I used. It goes through the exam objectives in order. Each chapter begins by telling which Security+ exam objective and terms the chapter covers. Each chapter ends with ~5 questions.

Used this along with Skillsoft labs and test prep. Passed Security+ on the first go round. Would highly recommend. I will be using ExamCram for my next test prep.
