This is such a helpful book to live your life connected to each season. I loved the fables at the beginning of each chapter. I stuck the quotes on my wall to inspire me throughout the month. I will be re-reading this book every year, it really helped inspire me to do more Magick throughout the year and to align me with a positive theme for each month.
This is such a lovely book. Great concept - an almanac to accompany you through the year but with spirituality in mind. And not too “woo” either which I like. You don’t need to have any supernatural beliefs for this book to give you nourishment (i teeter on the edge of “woo” quite a lot so I get funny when books are a bit too supernatural)
I particularly love the monthly fables and journal prompts. Definitely a companion I’m going to continue using as the years go round!
This book was gifted to me a year ago and I have throughly enjoyed opening it up each month. There are so many good tidbits of information and many inspirational reading passages. The book is organized by month and presents the same topics of information for each month. I have used this to deepen my own spiritual practice and incorporated much of what I’ve read into the yoga classes that I teach.
This is a Beautifully written book with amazing monthly practices guiding you to connect with yourself and the world around you during the different seasons. Journalling prompts, recipes, stories and mindful practices make this book a seasonal self-care manual. Absolutely love it and will re-read it every year and implement the practices into my life each month.
A nice idea, but I found it a bit underwhelming. Each month had lots of suggestions for rituals, affirmations, recipes, yoga poses etc. Because there was so much content covered, each section had only one or two pages devoted to it. I think this was why I struggled to engage with it, as there was too much jumping around, and it all felt very bitty and superficial.
Really good book. Love the structure and all the tips per month. I also love the illustrations, paper, size and cover of the book. Will keep reading this book throughout the year for some guidance per month.
I learned so much from it. A must have for every home library. I think this one might have to find a permanent spot on my nightstand… I see myself going back to it frequently!
A grounding connecting inspiration. So many practices for that nourish and give opportunity for development. I’ll be using this again for 2023. Heart warming.
It is a lovely book to welcome each month, helping the reader to embrace the new moth, its moon, and the general feelings of change as we move through the year.
