Being the new girl in town is always hard, especially a sleepy town like this. Fortunately, there is more to see than just the trees. In fact, there are two glorious sets of twins that are better scenery than anything I could have asked for.

It's just my luck, though, that one pair are werewolves and the other pair are vampires. Plus there's something in the woods that seems to be hunting people, and both sides are blaming the other as the cause. But I'm certain there's something worse, something darker to blame, if only I can make everyone see reason.

Fortunately, there is one thing all four of these deliciously hot supernatural men agree on.

Me.

Am I supposed to review this? The author plagiarized Twilight. She didn't even change the main character name from Isabella.

I did not enjoy this book. It was basically trope, t-trope, trope, trope. Leans hard into the traitorous body trope in particular - she uses the exact wording multiple times during the book. Izzy is nothing special, and I have no idea why the guys like her. She's fairly dumb or annoying for a lot of the book. It's also pretty repetitive in word choice and descriptions. No one feels fleshed out, but I have no interest in knowing any of them better. Fast burn. I ended up skimming the sex scenes - they didn't feel sexy to me, and were again quite repetitive.

Great book, but.....

I was super excited about this book. And it wasn't bad at all. I love the twin thing it was hot. I love the friends and I love the dad. But you should have told me that I was signing up to read Twilight with a little bit of spice. I've read Twilight approximately 30 times since I bought it in quarantine. So when I read the first sentence of chapter 1 and I'm like hold up wait a minute. Her mom decides to travel so she makes the decision to go stay with her dad in a small town with vampires and werewolves called Spoons( in Twilight it's Forks)(Spoons low key made me cringe so I kept saying Forks because they're elite). I just no. Some parts I skipped because I literally couldn't cope. And I was like this is Twilight with sexy twins in it. So if you want a whole new book with a whole new plot this is the wrong thing for you sis. But if you want Twilight totally spent around with more werewolves and less siblings then this is the book for you go ahead sis!

This is an interesting story with strong characters. The author does a great job building the story and delivering a unique read. She brings her story to life with her vividly painted scenes along with a great dialogue. She brings a strong woman into a relationship with two men and has no guilt about it. It's well written ,moves fluidly and is a great read. I enjoyed the story and would recommend reading.

Iizzy has come back to Spoon to live with er father, the sherrif.
There have been several murders in the forrest, and she knows she needs to be careful. When she meets Luke and his twin brother Logan, she thinks they are perfect - and when she meets Silas and Sebastion, she is wary about the way they make her feel, but still finds them more than average gorgeous.
What will happen when she learns their secrets? Are any of them responsible for the deaths around the little town?
Loved it!

Not bad

I was pretty disappointed after reading the description and then digging into the book to find that this book is basically Twilight rewritten, with sex and a slightly different story line/ending. I kind of felt like the twins were thrown in there just for the reverse harem aspect and to give a little more towards the team wolf or team vampire but without real depth to the relationships.

The book in itself wasn’t bad. I don’t usually read books that are rewrites of another story like this one and was put off that it wasn’t described as such in the description.

I thought this book was disappointing it was like reading Twilight but whilst Twilight was an original story this is a rewritten version with sex and slight differences. This is more of an adult story as there are sex and a reverse harem for added spice but alas the characters didn't seem to have any depth.

When her mother Rachel decided to move to a commune (cult), Izzy Drake drove her to the Amtrak station where her boyfriend Esau met her. He was wearing a linen robe. Then she headed off to visit her dad, Chuck Drake, the police chief of Spoons, Oregon. At least staying with him would give her some stability.

When Izzy woke from her nap, she saw her dad, Joseph Whitefeather, and his son Luke working on an old car outside. She joined them and it turned out the car was for her. They had a BBQ outside and Izzy asked about her dad’s interesting cases… but oddly, he didn’t want to talk about the big one he was working on. At least not over dinner, he said. By everyone’s reaction, it must be quite an interesting case! When Izzy asked again, Luke said there had been some brutal murders in the woods. But her dad got upset and asked them to not discuss it further. It made her think she should learn a few tips about fixing her car so she wouldn’t get stranded on the road with the forest all around… and a monster on the loose! Luke agreed to teach her the basics like tire changing and such, then invited her to come to the reservation for a bonfire the next evening.

Izzy drove into town to check out all the changes since her last visit. She went into a coffee shop and got along perfectly with Annaliese and Owen, who asked if she wanted a job! It was good they hired her because six people came in, pale and strange, and Owen and Annaliese ran into the kitchen, leaving Izzy alone to wait on them. Fortunately their order was easy and they left after paying. The guy’s hand touched hers and it was freezing cold! He had a brother that looked like a twin but just a bit different. All of them were odd, though.

At the bonfire, Izzy walked up to Luke, gently knocked into him, and told him she would embarrass him as usual. Instead, he turned around and it wasn’t Luke. It was his twin brother, Logan. Why did she keep making a fool of herself? They were talking about the latest murder in the woods, an old man who was torn apart. When it was time to go home, Izzy’s car wouldn’t start, so Luke drove her there and kissed her goodnight. She went up to bed and dreamed of him. But then his warm body turned freezing cold. Her dream changed, her teeth chattered, and she heard teeth and claws behind her. Talons held her shoulders and turned her around, then commanded she open her eyes. It was the twin she saw at the coffee shop and he was about to tear out her throat when she woke up. She felt a cold breeze – her window was open.

She had met two sets of twins. She would learn that one pair are werewolves and the other pair are vampires. But there is something else hunting people, and both the werewolves and the vampires are blaming each other. Are they wrong? Is this something totally different?

As soon as the story began, I hated the smug arrogant attitude and mocking disrespectful words of the creature who started off the Prologue in reference to his victims. I was ready to grab a stake and show him the error of his ways. The reader gets hints about him and chills will race up and down your arms. Even Luke seemed nervous when he found Izzy’s car wouldn’t start as it was parked outside of the safe reservation. Wow, this story will have you locking your windows and looking over your shoulder. Grab your copy and don’t miss this one!

A wonderfully delicious long story about Izz (elizabeth) who goes to live with her father who she hardly saw after her parents divorced when she is 8. The story reminded me of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series but with a much more mature tone. Even if it were only the physical love between her and the 2 twins, Sebastian and Silas and the twins Luke and Logan. The choice for her lovers is like choosing between hot and cold. Because Sebastian and Silas are vampires and Luke and Logan are werewolves.

Put together really well. The story runs smoothly, lots of excitement and mystery, lots of sex and a bloodthirsty creature that causes death and destruction to set the wolves and vampires against each other. And Izz in the middle as the glue that holds everything. And in the middle when battle breaks out when they all work together.

Highly recommended

I wasn't sure what to expect...it was very 'Twilight'ish...add in RH kinda feel but well Twins x2.
Having read the book now? Two thumbs up...well 4 stars to be specific. If you've read books by Melody Rose before, you'll find her characters are genuine. It's never so simple, but you can easily believe what each character was experiencing. I have read the Twilight books, seen the movies...so obviously the pure basic concept is similar...but you get some originality with how it all plays out. I love the twists and unique qualities the author brought to twist up something we've seen many times before.

All in all, I'd recommend for any paranormal romance fan - or Twilight fan of course too. I hope that the author writes a sequel...I really want to know what happens next for these characters as I see a lot of potential for future drama and excitement.

I have to admit, I picked up this book because it sounded like Twilight meets twins meets fan fiction. And that was exactly what I got and it was so funny to read. It was like reading all the things that would have happened in Twilight if the guys were twins and the audience had a say in how the story played out. It was so much fun to read that I just laughed and laughed the more I read it. To make things better, Izabella or Izzy, wasn't like Bella from the original Twilight, she knew what she wanted and wasn't really shy about it. Plus she knew how to flirt. It was absolutely a joy to read. If you want to read my full thoughts about the book, check out the blog post I have on it!

Charlie finally got to shine!

I hope we all can agree that Charlie Swan never got what he deserved in Twilight. But here, Chuck, police chief in Spoons, finally got his moment! Because, yes, obviously the book is based on and partly copied Twilight. But it is oh so much more. It is a really fun and fast paced book. Izzy is a strong character who makes what she wants happen, and isn’t opposed to tell people off. And of course she gets what she wants with the Callum-twins and the Whitefeather-twins (and there is steamy scenes).

I loved it and can’t recommend it enough if you, like me, love Twilight inspired books.

Yeah! Great story. Please, please, please, Melody make this a series.
Izzy has grown up with a hippy, immature, wandering mom. Now at twenty she’s ready to decide her own life and she wants to live with her dad and get to know him better. But the small quiet town where her dad is the sheriff isn’t exactly as quiet as she thinks. She will learn about supernatural creatures, make several best friends, gain four lovers, and solve a murder. Oh and her lovers are from two different supernatural species. Hope to hear more about these five and her two best friends. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved this book! There were a few points where I felt like it mirrored other stories, but other portions were unique and amazing to read. I loved that Izzy didn’t feel any guilt about being attracted to more than one guy and was happy to be involved with each guy, and was strong enough to ask for what she wanted. Her relationship with each guy is different and beautiful.
This was my first book by this author, and I will definitely be looking for more.

This is so interesting as it's exactly what you wanted with Jacob and Edward. Team Both, this time the leading lady Izzy doesn't have to choose. I loved the dynamic and style the book is written in. The story is good and entertaining and has twists to keep you on your toes. So what to do with two sets of twins? Things just got really interesting...

What a story Isabelle is one lucky girl having one set of vampire twins and one set of werewolf twins wanting her but both are blaming each other for the deaths in the forrest. This story reminds me of Twilight with Izzy going to Spoons to live with her dad who is the sheriff there were only a few things that was different from the movie that’s why it’s getting 4⭐️.

A spoof of twilight has Izzy moving to her dads after being with her flighty mom. She meets 2 sets of twins two wolf shifters and two vampires. She starts dating them all. In the meantime a rogue vamp is killing innocent people and trying to start a war between vampires and wolves. Not even attempting to touch on her father! A very good book! I really enjoyed it!

I had a bit of a hard time getting into this story. It mirrored another story quite closely, but also went another way. The story was good, the characters are likeable and are great together. Overall a good book.

I really enjoyed reading this book even though lots of things threw me off being so close to another book. But this book still had enough behind it to make it different too and some great characters plus it has two sets of twins. So why wouldn't you want to read it for some twin sandwiches lol.

Ok, this book is like a retelling of Twilight, but with no choosing (yay!), and two sets of twins (yummy!). There are a lot of similarities to twilight, but there is plenty of uniqueness as well. I really enjoyed it and honestly could not put it down! It is definitely worth the read!

Really good own take of a fanfiction read

So this is strongly based of twilight but with a few different twists with the reverse harem and a slayer aspect at the end but still good. Total different bad guy that was a fun way to 'rewrite' a historical figure!
