Is it really over?

I would love to say Commencement was the perfect ending, gosh how much I wish it was, but something seems to be missing. The overall story was a mixture of Broken Wand & Academy of Shifters and both are needed to explain the story in its entirely. I felt Meena grew as character but to me Remi fell flat & her "mommy issues" took away from the actual plot of the entire series. I hope the next series from Broken Wand will create the ending that seems missing from Academy of Shifters. Overall, I enjoyed the series as a whole & recommend both Academy of Shifters & Broken Wand world to explore.

Summary:
This is a fascinating story that incorporates magic of shifters and witches into an intricate and riveting conclusion to the Academy of Shifters series. I enjoyed how Ms. Claire created a crossover to her Broken Wand series. The growth and changes seen in Remi and her friends added depth to the plot line.

As the story unfolded, the characters and readers began to understand the depth of the lies and manipulation those in charge used to get what they wanted. The growing relationships and friendships were wonderful to behold. This is one series that shouldn’t be missed.

I’m not a big fan of Remi, so these stars are for Meena. I wouldn’t have finished this one if it wasn’t for the next Broken Wand episode. There was a lot going on here. And I had forgotten a lot of what had happened in the last book, so it was pretty confusing to me. Yet it was worth finishing after becoming so invested in the story. I’m glad everything was wrapped up and now I look forward to more of Meena’s adventures.

This book was a great end to the series, concluding the seven book series beautifully. The characters were well developed and the chemistry great, the story was filled with secrets, mystery, adventure and romance. I greatly enjoyed following the characters on this epic journey of action, adventure and discovery.

This is a pretty good conclusion and kept me turning the pages. I did have some issues with Remi who really annoyed me in this one, she just kept harping on about the same things. I did enjoy the banter between her and her brother. Cute ending with Diego.

Well written an a story line with lots of surprises.

Great series & well written. It got a little disappointing in the middle when Leith disappeared right after they finally connected, but it eventually came back together.

If you love, pnr books with shifters, witches and magic this is the book. This is a well thought out story that is filled with action, adventure, wonderful characters and it totally keep your attention.

Book 7 takes us a bit all over. We get a lot of backstory gaps, and the story from a lot of characters as it goes. I didn’t see a lot of it coming either so that’s always a good thing! I definitely now have to continue the world with Broken Wand season 2!

I really liked this series and though this was the last book in this series I hope it comes back as I think I missed something and could not believe I was at the end of the series I thought there would be more. But all in all I liked this series and book a lot.
