This is a fun activity book for Eid by a MAINSTREAM publisher (@scholastic ) so I was definitely super interesting in purchasing and seeing the contents!

Genre: Activity Book
Ages: 7-10
Available: Amazon

Screening: fasting is described as the moment the sun begins to rise which is inaccurate, it is dawn actually, a good while before sunrise! I actually also wished Fitrana was described as Zakat al-Fitr, the more accurate Arabic statement.

I was actually SUPER IMPRESSED by the amount of information in this book!! Suhoor, iftar, reading Quran, Taraweeh, Eid al fitr AND Eid al Adha definitions, Hajj page spread, Eid clothing, Different Madjids in the World, and definitions of Zakat, Moon phases, Muslims around the world, different clothing in different cultures, and more!!! So much information and knowledge.

I must admit, my favorite part of the book was the extremely gorgeous illustrations by @aaliyahjaleel , which makes the book super beautiful to look at and treasure.

Activities and contents include a Ramanan tracker, 12 arts and crafts you can do at home, 18 recipes from all over the world, and a little Eid journal at the end to detail your Eid memories, and how you want to help others on Eid (I loved this emphasis on good deeds in Islam❤️).

This book is def a little gem that I am excited to have and I am sure my young daughter will love going through it this Ramadan!
