What happens when you ignore your instincts? Andre and Simone move to North Carolina to start their lives over after an unspoken tragedy. As they settle in, they find that they are the most interesting couple on the street…at least to one neighbor in particular. Blinded by misplaced optimism, Andre agrees to join the new neighbors on a mountain vacation. Feeling uneasy, Simone agrees to go in devotion to her husband. When they arrive, they find the most magnificent cabin tucked away in the woods. After enjoying a full day of luxury, Andre and Simone soon find they are to be the grisly entertainment for the other guests – entertainment that will continue until death. They must escape this wooded hell disguised as a mountain paradise and stop this sadistic ritual from happening again, or die trying.

Unique read
I enjoyed this book, there were lots of twists and turns! Much of the story line was unique, as opposed to many mystery murder books that I've read lately. I definitely recommend this book.

EMOTIONAL DAMAGE. This book made me go through a lot emotions in a short period of time. Buckle your seatbelt because it’s a fast read with a lot of twist and turns. I did enjoy it & would recommend !
