After the fall of Atlantis, survivors journey to the site of the rising sun. With the city gone, can the Atlantis civilisation continue under the guidance of new leader Empsar Givas Voret? The Atlantians may have escaped from the rivers of fire, but their journey has just begun.
Took me some time to read, but it was amazing! Loved all of it! I have read the first book, and I loved it! This one was amazing! I loved the suspense, and how you did not know what was going to happen next. It for sure kept me on the edge of my seat! What had me interested was how they all had to look for a new place to live after what happened in Atlantis. How to go through many barriers along the way. The writing was well done, and it had me interested. Well done!
Book Review: Atlantis Percpective: 3rd person First I would like to say that I love the Authors writing style and writing voice. Everything was perfectly paced, and left me wanting to know what happens next each of the way. There were no parts that i felt the urge to skim, or pointless dialougue. From character development, mystery, and the perfect sense of wanting to finish without sleeping.
Throughout the story you read on to different groups of people that are connected. There are some books out there that when you get to a group, or character, you did yourself wanting to skim on their end. Not this story though!
This book throws you right in on an adventure and wanting to know exactly what is going on with the characters that the author created. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be following his future writing adventures (more please!)
This book is cool, I loved how after Atlantis was destroyed how the group went on different adventures. The author has created a fantastic world. The story itself has barbarians, relationship issues and tragedy. It has everything, I highly recommend it.
This is a great second book in the series. I would like to think this is what happened when Pompeii was lost to Mount Vesuvius. It was great to see what happened to Givas and the rest of the characters but only leaves me to want more. Highly recommend this series and all credit to the author. Well done.
This was a well written story that keeps the reader engaged. After escaping their burning city, the Atlantians sail off in search of safety. Once safe, they search for a new home while avoiding attacks from barbarians. The separated Atlantians use meditation to help find each other and search for the right path. The story centers around Empsar Givas as he works to rebuild the civilization's government and find a new home for his people. He is faced with real life struggles that are easy to relate to such as the death of a good friend, and attraction to a woman who is in love with someone else. I highly recommend this book.
This book was a great thrill to read, keeping me immersed from beginning to end. I loved how the groups of characters went their separate ways after the destruction, providing different adventures to read about, yet somehow ended up back together. The rebuilding of civilization directed by the leaders of the council was particularly inspiring. The story contains lots of suspense and mysteries, and the ending left me yearning for more. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to read the other books in this series!
I am actually a star seed from Lemuria and this book spoke to my soul. I even had some remembrance of my past life from then while reading this book. It wasn’t a book I would normally pick up but after a recommendation I gave it a shot. Boy was I not disappointed. The story was so beautifully written and it had me engaged the entire time wishing and visualizing as if I was there currently.
I was looking forward to reading this and wasn’t dissapointed
I was looking forward to reading this book. Having read the first story. I wasn’t disappointed, as both the story and the characters have developed. I found this story more of an adventure than the first novel. I would recommend it to anyone who has read. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones etc.
Really enjoyed reading about the survivors of Atlantis and Givas’ personal story. The ups and downs of the different groups of survivors’ travels in search for a place to stay was enchanting. The book was a solid sequel and I’m looking forward to book 3. I feel there’s plenty more to come!
The Council of Twelve is a great rollicking adventure I recommend you read. It has great fleshed out characters and a compulsive narrative that quickly drew me into the story and kept me page-turning through two evenings. 5 stars.
