Lunarian Warriors: Books 1-3

Rate this book
A SciFi Alien Romance.

I can’t let my captor claim me as his mate…no matter how much I want him…

I’ve been swept off my feet before, and I’ve got the bruises to show just how badly that ended. I’m not about to fall at the feet of the next man – or alien – to cross my path. Especially not when he steals me away from home and wants to use me as his broodmare.

Kloran is intense and sometimes scary. A prince of his people with a duty so deeply ingrained it’s hard to see where it ends and he begins. But the glimpses of the man beneath the hardened warrior prince make me wonder if there’s something more between us...

“Out of the frying pan into another freaking frying pan.”

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚🖤💜
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎
Character development: 😪😵‍😑🥺

The heroine: Bria - she was married and was abused by her husband. She grew up in sector six, but married a man from sector one. She didn’t look the part for sector one society (not blonde and thin), she is brunette and curvy. She was grey class and her sector one badge showed that. She shouldn’t be leaving her sector. Her badge tagged her as being from a lower class than the blue class of sector one. Leaving her husband wasn’t easy, but she wanted to get out of her marriage alive.

The Hero: Kloran - he is a prince of Lunaria and tasked with finding breeding slaves to save his species from extinction within the next generation. He purchased Bria on the breeding slave market thinking she had agreed to being a slave at auction.

The Story: Kloran and his crew find out quickly that Bria was under duress and had not agreed to her situation. They are worried that if she dies, they will not be able to buy another slave at auction and if they returned her then she might end up in a worse situation than with them.

The Lunarian’s decide that they still want to see if a woman from Earth is able to carry a half Lunarian child. Since none of their other breeding slaves have been able to get pregnant from being inceminated. Now that they know Bria is not a slave and never agreed to be in the slave auction, they have to free her but if she gets attracted to one of the Lunarian’s and the make a baby the old fashioned way, of her own free will, then all the better for them.

The book was told in dual points of view using dual narration. The narrators were Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister. I like duet narration much better where the female narrator does all the female parts and the male narrator does all the male parts. However, these two did a good job and I tend to pick books that have a male and female narrator whether it is dual or duet narration. Sierra did a great job as Bria, who is anxious and hesitant due to her abusive background.

“If he was an angel, he sure as hell wasn’t any kind of angel I had ever known”.

The heroine: Sawyer - she is a kindergarten teacher who finds her fiancé balls deep in his best man and walks out on him, speeding away from him to put as much space between her and her fiancé as possible. She gets into an accident on the highway and wakes up to find she has been abducted by aliens.

The Hero(es): Haelian - second in command to General (and Prince) Kloran of the Lunarian warriors. Since Kloran found his fated mate in a human woman who was abducted from her planet against her wishes, he has sent Haelian after the group who had been illegally taking human females off their planet. Haelian has been made General since the prince has stayed on Lunaria with his mate and daughter.

The Story: Haelian found the group who had been abducting females from earth and selling them as slaves at auction. He found out that they were also giving the pick of each shipment of females to the Rutharians in exchange for being left alone by the evil Rutharians who are the scourge of the universe. General Haelian has found that three females from Earth have been given to the Rutharians and he and his men plan to sneak aboard the Rutharian ship to free the women.

Some of the standard alien romance tropes are used in this series (especially the one where there are almost no females left in the Lunarian species and they need to find women of other species to bear their children so that their species doesn’t die out completely). Though I was happy to see that in this series, the Lunarian warriors actually wear clothes instead of traveling through space in loincloths like many of the other series I have read. As much as I love the “D”, I really do like men in clothes.

Like the first, this book was told in dual points of view and via dual narration, where the male narrator does the chapters in Haelian’s point of view (including the female lines) and the female narrator does the narration on all of the chapters in Sawyers point of view. The narrations were Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister. The both have very pleasant voices that work well for these characters and I enjoyed listening to them.

I liked the storyline in this book a bit better than the first book. Haelian is a great heroic character. In the first book, I loved the way he was so focused on stopping the abduction and sale of humans even before he found that human females can procreate with Lunarians. Sawyer is a strong female lead and an interesting character as well.

Aliens that aren’t barbarians!

The heroine: Alyse - a human female who was abducted from Earth and taken captive by the Rutharian king. Alyse first met the Rutharian king when she was six years old when she refused to go with him and He killed her parents. She comes from a wealthy family and became a doctor before the king returned to Earth and stole her away.

The Hero(es): Nion - A young Lunarian Warrior who made friends with Sawyer from the last book. He is determined to get revenge against the Rutharian who killed his brother. He is a great guy who takes care of his mother and treats human females as people when a lot of others see them as nothing more than wombs for their children.

The Story: Nion leads the raid on the Rutharian ship and saves Alyse from being raped yet again. When they get back to the Lunarian ship, Alyse refuses to be tested for pregnancy because she knows she can’t handle the results. Nion feels desire for Alyse but knows that a human female as beautiful as her would have her pick of wealthy Lunarians and noblemen. Nion is a lowly soldier from nowhere and has nothing of his own, so he knows if he falls for her, he will inevitably lose her.

The book was narrated by Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister in dual points of view and dual narration. I really like these two narrators. Sierra has a great voice for females and she does a low voice for the male characters that actually sounds male. Logan has a great deep voice which was perfect for Nion.

I liked both of these characters. Nion worries a bit about the fact that he is a poor soldier who doesn’t own any land and can’t provide for her like the wealthy elite of Lunaria, but he doesn’t sulk about it and it doesn’t go on and on. He wants Alyse and allows himself to go after what he wants. Alyse is a strong character who has a bit of PTSD but she bounces back from what happened to her fairly quickly. There is a big surprise later in the book which I couldn’t have guessed so that was nice. This was the best book of the series so far and I did purchase the next four.

Earth has become a world divided by class sectors. Human women have been abducted by aliens without earth knowing anything about it. Breeders are sought out across galaxies when Lunarians are looking to strengthen their numbers due to a decline in female mates. Now the Lunarians have seen exactly how human women have been treated by those who kidnapped them and seek to find them and give them a new home in the hopes they will all find the one. But there is danger not only from those of other planets but within their own walls.

I enjoyed the story and felt for the characters as you can see both sides of the coin. There is action, intrigue, pain, suffering, hope, politics and love to be found among the pages.

When a human is involved they will do anything to make them theirs. However, the chemistry explodes, making them confront there are feelings just waiting to be explored. As their connection simmers dangerously close to the surface, they must decide if it is worth the risks that come with uncovering their true desires.

A quick read to take you from reality for a few hours.

LUNARIAN WARRIORS #1-3

This bundle contains the first three books of the LUNARIAN WARRIORS. Below is a review of one of the books to give you an idea of what you can expect in this bundle. Titles included are:

• Abducted by the Warrior Prince (#1)
• Rescued by the Warrior Lord (#2)
• Saved By The Warrior Hero (#3)

** Reviewing “RESCUED BY THE WARRIOR LORD (#2)” **
When you feel like your life is falling apart, well . . . it just may be. Her wedding was coming up quickly, she had a great job she loved, her family was wonderful – and then she caught her fiancé in bed with another woman. Thinking that was as bad as things could get, she wakes up on a slaver’s ship in space! Even when rescue came, she wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not!

The simple choice about returning to Earth was getting complicated as Sawyer started to fall for her rescuer, Haelian. He wasn’t as impassive as she had assumed. When she started to see beneath what he shows others, she begins to think about a future and family with him. Does he feel the same? Is there a chance for them to find a HEA?

I have enjoyed books by Roxie Ray before and I enjoyed these ones as well. Her writing is great and the story is so easy to immerse oneself in. The Lunarians are an alien race that are having troubles with procreation. Females are not born as often as males and females can only have one possibly two babies in their entire lifetime. This is where the first book starts, with General Kloran using breeding slaves to find women to have their next generation of children. He has be unsuccessful so far, until he comes across a human, name Bria from Earth. She was kidnapped by illegal traders and is now in a situation that she has a hard time believing in. There is lots of drama, romance, adventure, and of course steamy scenes. Each book is amazing on its own, but reading them in order makes it a lot easier to understand the overall plot over the series. I really loved reading this series and I can't wait to read more.

A very nice collection of the first 3 books in this exiting Lunarian Warriors series.
One can jump right into the next book without missing a beat.
Voracious reader that I am this was a perfect match!
The theme throughout each book centers on the abduction of human females from Earth by alien slavers. Although this can be a well used trope Ms. Ray expands on the theme and
the well written stories evoke thrills, sentiment, adventure and sensual encounters as each female is saved from her imprisonment by a Lunarian warrior.
Always a great way to read away a lazy afternoon, I would definitely recommend this series.

Warning for mild triggers on domestic abuse, cheating, rape, none of which are described in any disturbing detail but are the catalyst for each female leads story.

Roxie definitely brings it with each of these stories! I am so glad she put this series in a box set! With this being the first 3 books it brings us drama, suspense, romance , and lots of love. It has all the feels that this author is known for. She writes amazing characters that will tear at your heart strings and make you love them while delivering fantastic stories that not only sit well but will have rejoicing. Each character has their own list of issues but throughout you learn that those issues are what makes them stronger when working along side their other haves. This does have some triggers but I fell that you can and will overcome once you read this set! I highly recommend this set. I know you will adore it a expeditiously as I have!

This is the 1st three books in the Lunarian Warriors series. The stories are centered around human women abducted from Earth and rescued from their captors by, you guessed it, Lunarian warriors. Thankfully, these don’t feel as predictable as you would assume upon hearing the 2 words—alien abduction. Trust me, these aren’t your grandma’s basic boring run of the mill alien abductions lol. These books have everything...action, adventure, romance, and of course, lots of passion and steam. Come meet some awesome alien warriors and the human women lucky enough to love them and be loved thoroughly by them.

Lunarian Warriors Books 1-3 three great stories in one well written set. The stories are Abducted By The Warrior Prince, Rescued By The Warrior Lord, and Saved By The Warrior Hero. My review is for Abducted By The Warrior Prince, I will warn you do not start at bedtime, I could not put it down until I was finished. Prince Kloran and human Bria's story. There is suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, evil, secrets, and love. These stories have all be put out separately but I like that they are all now in one place. Lunarian Warriors rescuing human women with the hope of them being breeding compatible. I read the first story and through all the fumbling mistakes and misconceptions that they made, thought that it was sweet how the story between Bria and Kloran developed. And again with the next 2 stories, the characters were well written, the storyline was really well thought out with the increase in danger from Ruatharians for Sawyer and for Alyse and the difficulties in dealing with the abuse that the rescued women had dealt with from them. Great worldbuilding, action and adventure. A really great read!

4.7 Stars... I was so happy I picked this bundle up it's chalk full of adventure, passionate chemistry, fun characters and just page after page of intriguing entertainment there was however a few detail discrepancies That were a little frustrating and a few things/areas I felt could have been either left out or worked through with a bit more detail and stpry behind the reasoningneeded so those little parts didn't fall so flat but as a whole I couldn't put this set down and look forward to more from this author

A great way to get the first 3 books in this fun series with hot aliens and the women they rescue and fall for. The stories are a riot to read with lots of action, danger, a dash of suspense, and hot scenes. The entertained me and had me wanting more. And they had a few fun surprises too. Easy to fall in love with the main characters in each book and I rooted for the women to fall for and win their hot alien rescuers.

Hmm

Not bad. In serious need of some editing. But I won’t not stop reading it because of grammar issues. Especially if the story line is good and I can see the world in which the author is writing about. I liked the stories, the plots , the MCs. I liked it all. If reading through grammar problems is an issue for you then this isn’t for you. But hey I had kids. Lol I can read through anything and still get the jist of it all. And this I liked enough to continue on!

Lunarians Warriors 1 - 3

Well done to see a different point of view from an alien perspective. The Lunarians became able to think outside the box. Once communication became established the realisation that some females were kidnapped then romance could be established.
