Of all the books of the Bible, Revelation is the one that mystifies and unsettles people the most. From numerical signs to monsters, the book of apocalypse in the Bible can be difficult to wrap our minds around, but the message that Revelation really brings is hope.
In this six-session video Bible study (DVD/video streaming sold separately), Bible teacher and author Margaret Feinberg digs into John's Revelation to show us how the final book of the Bible reminds us of God's power and promises during times of great suffering and persecution.
In this study you
Uncover the supernatural power of Jesus' names and titles.Be equipped with tactics on how to overcome the wily ways of the enemy.Discover how to triumph through the blood of the lamb and the word of your testimony.Learn that, though life is not always fair, Jesus is NOT finished.John, the author of the book of Revelation, was blessed to see what each of us longs to know, and he gave us a descriptive and poignant expression of the place, the end, and the eternity that God has promised to us. God has indeed saved the best for last, and in Revelation's pages he gives us the one thing we all long for—hope, extravagant hope.

A self-described "hot mess," Margaret Feinberg is a popular Bible teacher and speaker at churches and leading conferences such as Catalyst, Thrive, and Women of Joy. Her books, including The Organic God, The Sacred Echo, Scouting the Divine, and Wonderstruck and their corresponding Bible studies, have sold nearly one million copies and received critical acclaim and extensive national media coverage from CNN, the Associated Press, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, and more.
She was recently named one of 50 women most shaping culture and the church today by Christianity Today, one of the 30 Voices who will help lead the church in the next decade by Charisma magazine and one of the ’40 Under 40’ who will shape Christian publishing by Christian Retailing magazine. Margaret lives in Morrison, Colorado, with her husband, Leif, and their superpup, Hershey. She believes some of the best days are spent in jammies, laughing, and being silly.
I caught up on this one after a busy season. I have really enjoyed Margaret Feiberg’s thoughts on Revelation. She has pointed out a lot of things that were interesting to me, and she explains Revelation in an uncomplicated way. If Revelation has seemed daunting to you, this is a great introduction to it. She also relates how the book is helpful when going through hard things. I watched the videos with Study Gateway Online Bible Studies.
I was so pleased to be invited to participate in the initial launch of this study. I was able to stream each video as it was released and participate in weekly Q&A. There was also a group of us from the Private Facebook Group that met weekly via ZOOM to discuss what we were learning.
This is first book I have read by Margaret Feinberg, but it definitely won’t be my last.
This is the second Beautiful Word Study that I have used, and I must say that they are beautifully done!!
I often incorporate additional resources when I’m involved in an indepth study. This time I listened to to each chapter via Bible Gateway Audio (NIV Dramatized) at the beginning of each week and I added two YouVersion reading plans Revelation: A 28 Day Reading Plan ESV (New Spring Church) and Revelation Explained NKJV Parts 1-7 (Through the Word) for a different perspective.
Combining all of these resources was a wonderful way to study this often problematic book/subject matter.
You need the video series to enjoy this Bible study. I did it with the mass group and wasn't able to complete the entire workbook at the time. I went back and did it, probably not as impactful though.
I left with a better understanding of Revelation and saw it in a broader context of God's plan and victory of Christ as opposed to a "dooms day manual". The symbolism no longer scares me. 😀
