Shadid breaks down the student university journey quite well. He explains the journey by focusing on making the most of life after graduation. He encourages students to plant the right career and networking seeds early in their journey.

The tips provided in this books are in line with what seasoned professionals tell young grads to focus on, but the book adds more details to the steps and provides the right level of guidance.

It highlights the importance of networking both traditional and modern platforms such as LinkedIn and the value one can attain for these activities.

I thought his analogies of the topics, the level of details and his style made this book an enjoyable read.

I would highly recommend this book for university students of all years and recent graduates.

I think it is a great book for graduates and for those who have started the job-hunting journey, as the book gives helpful tools and insights to be successful in finding a suitable position. As a professional who has been in the job-seeking process in Australia, I relate to many mentioned tips that I wish I would have done before my graduation. Definitely, I would recommend this book to students (like my little sister who is doing the first year of her bachelor degree) and graduates not only because it is an easy read but also because it does provide the basics to improve the employability skills. If you apply what is recommended in the book, believe me, that could save you time!

I would highly recommend this book which is an inspiring guide to the often demoralising process of job hunting. Yousef blends his professional and personal experiences in this book, together with the lessons he's learnt along the way. In addition, the book is full of great tips and advice on areas such as networking, interview procedures, resume writing and so on, with lots of clear examples to illustrate the points made. Many of the recommendations stated are things I wish I had done before graduating. Overall, it’s a great book for the graduates and it provides a lot of confidence and insights into their job-hunting process. Thank you Yousef for such a great book!

Yousef lists a clear and organized pathway for university students to start building their employability skills as early as possible. In addition, his writing style boosts self confidence tremendously along with giving practical tips to handle natural confusion and the feeling of being lost. Wished to have read it earlier =D

He also shares some inspiring stories of successful graduates who had been in your place of confusion but managed to draw their way through success.
It's a light practical book that I recommend it to university students in all years.

This book was so good that I took longer time to read it and reflect. In fact, I read it twice.

There were a few moments that I wish I knew or I did when I was a university student if I had this book earlier. I highly recommend any students or graduates to read it. This book covers from year one study to graduate, so no matter what stage your study is at, you can gain something from reading it. Even though the theme is set for Australian audience, you will find a lot of similarity in New Zealand.

A great book not to be missed.
