A free short story exclusively for Willa Nash newsletter subscribers. This book is not tied to anything else in the Calamity Montana series other than the town itself, so you don't need to have read a prior story before diving in.

For Lola Jennings, Valentine’s Day means a good book and an extra-large glass of wine. So when she finds herself standing in the middle of an enormous barn, bouncing between drunken cowboys and avoiding beer spills, she’s certain that Cupid has sent her into the fiery pits of hell.

She’s ready to put the Solo cup down and return home when a line of men takes the stage for the main event—the Wrangler Butt Contest. Ten men twirl and twerk and taunt the crowd with their Wrangler-clad butts in hopes of being crowned king. There’s no denying the devilishly handsome man who performs last has some very fine . . . assets.

So when she trips and falls into Aiden Archer’s arms later that night, she knows her trip to Calamity, Montana, is about to get interesting. And if Aiden has his way, it’s going to last a lot longer than one night.

The Booty is book #1.5 in the Calamity Montana series by Willa Nash. This is a free download from Willa’s newsletter. It’s not directly related to the characters in the previous book but does take place in Calamity. I loved the first book so much I couldn’t resist this before I start book two.

Lola Jennings is a twenty eight year old lawyer living in Portland but is in Calamity for a few days to give support to her best friend who is getting a divorce. On Valentine’s Day, her friend drags her to the town’s “Testy Fest” which is sure to be pure agony for Lola. But when a bunch of men get on stage to shake their booties for a contest, one particular back side grabs her attention. And when they literally collide later on, he gets a lot more than just her attention.

Aiden Archer lives in a small town near Calamity but is in town for a few days to act as council for his friend’s divorce. He definitely never planned on meeting a gorgeous woman who would steal his breath. But the next day, when they both realize who the other is, sparks fly of the not so fun kind. These two keep each other on their toes in so many ways.

This was a fun, flirty little read that took me about two hours to finish. I adore this little town of Calamity and can’t wait to go back when I start book two, The Bluff, which is Everly’s book.

5 booty shaking stars!

This was such a fun read. With a heroine that was a bit uptight but fiercely loyal, and a hero that was just as loyal, full of himself, and wickedly smexy, they made a great escape from reality for an hour. I loved that Lola and Aiden set their own issues aside to help their friends and along the way...well, it’s just too sweet and extremely entertaining.

For a novella this didn’t feel short changed, although I will always want more when characters are this wonderful and when this author is the one creating them.

Lola has gone to the rescue of her bestie Joann who has recently filed for divorce. She is an attorney but is only there to support her while she goes through the legal process.

Lola and Joann decide a night on the town would be a good remedy to the heartbreak and stress, ending up at a barn where there is a wrangler butt competition in progress. Good drinks and company has gone to the next level with all this butt eye candy!

Lola ends up having a night to remember with the best butt winner and leaves her mark, literally, on his backside. This won’t be the first time these two cross paths and if Aiden (butt guy) has it his way, Lola will figure out that his booty is worth keeping.

This is a fun flirty read free for newsletter subscribers of Willa Nash (pen name of Devney Perry) and it felt like a full length novel all packed into a fast paced novella.

3.5 'The best Wrangler butt' Stars!

Short, sweet, sexy and endearing! I was about to start reading The Brazen when I realized Willa released this free novella a while ago. Lola and Aiden were so adorable together and I really enjoyed getting to know a bit about their love story in The Booty. Joann and Riley were just as adorable and I am so glad they got their second chance. Don't miss this addition to the Calamity Montana series, guys! It's definitely a sweet treat!

I loved the way these two met, it was pretty freaking funny! It was so interesting the way things unfolded from there. The connections and assumptions that fueled the story were perfect. For how short this one was, it still satisfied. I’m loving the Calamity Montana world and I’m excited for The Bluff!

A very cute Aiden and Lola short novella! But I still want to know why he refused to go up on stage yet ended up the winner ✌️

Ahem....NO SEX?!
You give that cover and that title and there's NO SEX?!!!
I feel personally attacked.

Despite this traumatizing oversight, THE BOOTY was fun, flirty, had GREAT banter, and a sweet HEA.

But, ya know, I deserve at least one highly-descriptive steamy scene. I don't wanna read about the nail marks on his ass the next day unless you're committed to walking me through how said nails sunk into said ass cheeks.

This was a cute, quick read and a total stand alone as even though it’s set in Calamity, none of the characters from the previous books appear and none of the characters in this book are linked to previous books in the series. That being said this novella only ended up being average as the author decided to leave a huge chunk of the story out. It would have been better if they had actually included the main characters meetings and first night together, the author skipped right over it and it felt like I had downloaded an incomplete book.
Lola falls into Aiden at the Testicle Fest in chapter one and then we start chapter two back at her friend’s house after an apparent night of passion, a night the readers do not get to see. Why? I get that this is a novella but the whole meat of the first meeting and encounter is completely excluded?? Why do you hate your readers, Willa?
The second part of this book that annoyed me was that the entire blame for the secondary characters’ marriage ending was placed on an evil, catty, man stealing neighbour woman. Was this necessary? It made Reilly look like a weak idiot and made me dislike the author for creating misogynistic evil female characters. Can we not do this anymore? Reilly was at fault for confiding private information about his marriage to a woman who was not in his marriage, point blank. He was an idiot and deserved his wife’s anger. Both of those side characters needed deep couples counselling. Anyway, decent book but left major, important details off the page so only a 3 star.

When a story is named the The Booty and it has a Wrangler Butt Contest at an annual Testicle Festival, there is no doubt I’m going to read it because I’m all about a fineeee behind. This story is a quick read that me laughing and blushing and subsequently falling for a feisty lawyer and the sexy man she can’t seem to avoid in town. Scheming to get her best friend back together with her husband adds for some fun and heartfelt moments, along with some hilarious banter. Aiden and Lola’s quick romance was an entertaining read and the perfect escape.⁣

A short, sweet, fade-to-black novella with no cross overs to the other books in the series, other than it being set in Calamity Montana. 3☆

5 short and oh-so-sweet stars!

This is a great little freebie from Willa Nash (Devney Perry), a novella set in her Calamity Montana series, a fun, banter-filled romance that, in only a few short chapters, managed to suck me in and make me fall in love.

Lola is visiting the small town of Calamity, Montana, to help out a dear friend who is going through a painful divorce. They are hanging out at the ‘Testicle Festival’ (yes, really) one night, when a competition to find the hottest booty in the room gives her her first glance of all-round sexy guy, Aiden Archer.

Sparks fly, and right when she thinks that their hot night together will be nothing but a wonderful memory to look back on… life has other plans.

God, this read was so much fun! I love Lola, I love Aiden, and their dynamic is fantastically entertaining. There is animosity there, but so much chemistry, and their flirting and playfulness is gorgeous to read. There is a side storyline that blends in beautifully, and the whole book kept me captivated, and I finished this one with a big smile on my face – wishing it was longer, but completely satisfied with the story we got.

Another reason why Devney Perry is always on my faves list. I loved this one!

5 stars!

This was such a cute novella!
It was juicy as well! Very short 73 pages.
This is a book that I was gifted and I’m trying to bring down my TBR!

I read this in one sitting. I loved the banter and the next full book in the series will be my next read!

Funny, Flirty & Steamilicious morsel in between the main books by willa. Lola, the lawyer goes to meet Joann and she takes her out for a night of wrangler Butt Competition in the barn turned bar. One night of drinking leads to a night long of passion with Aiden, the winner.
That man has booty you can bounce a coin off of.
And next morning she leaves him with her mark
Short and sexy, a yummy treat from willa who took home her own Wrangler Winner!!😁
Some gals have all the luck *sigh*🥰
