Rate this book
HER LIFE SPUN IN A DIRECTION SHE DIDN’T WANT. NOW SHE NEEDED TO RELINQUISH CONTROL IN WAYS SHE DIDN’T THINK SHE COULD. Suzanna was nineteen when her car veered out of control on an icy road. Four years later, she was diagnosed with epilepsy. Had the brain injury from the accident triggered the epilepsy? Or had an undetected seizure caused the accident? She would never know for sure. One thing was her life had been altered forever. In this honest and moving memoir, Suzanna wrestles with tough questions. Why me? How will I live with this? Does God even see me? Her search leads her to discover precious insights in unexpected places. Answers. Control. Expectations. Sometimes letting go of the things we want (but are never promised) allows us to embrace the things that matter most of all.

Truly an inspiring story of faith and determination

Zanna's story of her battle is truly amazing and inspirational. We've all heard the old adage that "what doesn't kill us will make us stronger" and this story is a testament to that and so much more. Her constant searching of Scripture for answers speaks to her strong belief that God is truly in control and He will never leave or forsake us.
What an incredible journey! Thank you Zanna for sharing. May God continue to use you as a beacon of hope.
