THE BLUE BOYS ARE BACK!!!
This book is a novella which is the perfect ending for Ace and Star , and the perfect Jaw Dropping teaser for Noah, Emmett and George's book! Ace and Star are back and even though they have mended all of their bridges , there are still a few hurdles they have to cross.
Now with a Christmas vacation approaching , all the characters will be under one roof which means loads of tension and drama with heartache. Let's see who comes out alive!
Overall Opinion :
OMG, I literally didn't know that I needed this book after Star and Ace!! There is no way , you hear me? NO WAY and Blue Boys lover can miss this Novella. It wasn't even a novella , I mean it had a full blown storyline with lots of plot twists , so I would rather call this a whole book which was one hell of a read for me!!
What usually happens in Epilogue novellas is that , all the characters are mushy mushy and they have lots of babies and it's the perfect conclusion. That was not the case for this book. It was just so much more. Packed with heartache and thrilling plot twists , Thandie gave me exactly what my Blue Boy loving heart desired! Emmett and Ivy with Noah and Kim is like a kryptonite for me and I can't have enough of them!! The book had a certain plot twist that NONE OF YOU will ever see coming and all it did was to drive me even more crazy!!
Honestly speaking , Thandiwe couldn't have written a better novella for my blue boys and even though I wanna smack her for leaving me wanting so much more , I know I'll be loving her again when she gives me more of Emmett ( who is totally my hubby btw) 😂❤️

What a wonderful belated holiday treat for Blue Boys fans! This is QUITE a meaty novella (almost a full length novel)- and you should know by now that Thandie loves to throw all that angsty, YA drama at us. So, this story is jam packed full of it- even though this couple has already been thought a lot, they still have more to work through. I loved this aspect- this isn’t just an extended HEA epilogue, Thandie is bringing a fresh storyline rife with conflicts and drama, giving us a good amount of Blue Boys fan service/nostalgia, and whetting our appetite for the next in the series.
Fans of the series will be excited to dive back in (and those that are not need to start back at the beginning, this can’t be read as a standalone). I love all of these juicy characters, but Star and Ace are just *chefs kiss*, so I’m so glad I get to spend more time with them during my favorite holiday. These two have so much passion, such a complicated history, a beautiful mess trying to find peace and normalcy. We get lots of great fodder with Noah and Emmett- and, per usual, the Blue Boys own flaws and hang-ups are their own worst enemy.
This is not a feel-good holiday romp- not fluffy and sweet. We have drama, challenges, and a huge cliffy at the end setting us up for future books. (DAMN YOU THANDIE!)

When this dropped on my kindle I couldn’t wait to dive in and see what the gang have been up to. My heart will always belong to Westbrook Blue!
We start with Star and Ace, who are now living together but are going through something. Ace is still as demanding as ever and won’t let Star back out of confiding in him and is pushing for her secrets. He doesn’t play fair though, with his devilish body and has to tease it out of her. I liked seeing them like this, a little vulnerable but always being there for each other and not hiding behind their feelings.
The gang aren’t all getting along and Star thinks a Christmas trip to the Colorado Mountains could help bring everyone together. As it turns out it wasn’t a great idea and only seems to be pushing them apart.
What we do get is the angst and burning sexual tension between the other couples, that aren’t coupled yet but their stories have now been set and I am here for it all! I can’t wait!!!
Thinking this was going to be a nice easy read when I should have known better. Thandiwe sucked me right in with this story and then right at the end as tensions were building the cliffhanger dropped and I’m hoping we don’t have long to wait for what I know will be a wild ride.
This was a read that had it all, steam, angst, sarcastic humour courtesy of Ace (who I love 😍) and I still love these characters and can’t wait to see where their stories go. Another must-read!

As usual, in tipical Thandie's fashion way, just when you think you've got things figured out, she blows your mind, breaks your heart and crushes your espectations.
Drama, challenges, angst, and so much more, Frosty Blues tells the story while the gang gets togheter for Christmas vacation.
Frosty Blues is #3,5 in the series, so is a must read for the next book in the series, because it ends with a little cliffy, wich sets us up for the next book.

WOW! This book...it's like meeting with old friends after long time and have a chance to witness (ones again) one dramatic event after another happening in their lives.
Thandie is a queen of creating dramatic and suspenseful stories around the Blue Boys 💙 and she enjoys to see all the readers lose their minds after every single one of her books in the series 🤯🤭 and this book is no exception.
I don't know which character I love more in this book.
Astraea and Ace are so damn perfect together. Their relationship, though overshadowed by the past, is so damn beautiful and passionate.
Noah and Kim are as messed up as ever and their fight against their feelings is really painful to read about.
Emmett and Ivy could be a perfect couple, but his own urge to protect her from himself is creating a huge wall that destroy them both slowly.
This is a holiday story that is not so festive at the end.
The past and the present collide with each other destroying the holiday spirit despite Astraea's attempt to play peacemaker.
I love that this book shows all the different points of view from all the characters. It makes this book even more interesting.
This book ends with a unbelievable shocking cliffhanger! Yes, I can hear you devilish laugh Thandie 😈🤨
This YA romance is part of a series and should be read after the first three books.

I didn't realize how much I missed the Blue Boys until I started reading Frosty Blues. This was a great novella allowing us to catch up with the gang but it was not a festive holiday story. It was filled with drama, heartache, and conflict, was oh so angsty and full of steam, and there was a shocking cliff hanger ending setting us up for the next book. The story was told in varying POV from each character and I was hooked until the end. I still love these characters and I can't wait for more. If you're a Westbrook Blues Fan you definitely want to read this novella and if you're new to the series you need to pick up book 1. This was a great read and I would highly recommend it to YA lovers.

But cause of what's happened they're torn apart, hurt, insecurities, trauma, unrequited love, numb, secrets, they're just broken, they need to heal, they need each other, they're stubborn and stewing in their own ways.
How will they get on in close quarters?

Twists and turns.
The banter is still there even though they're at odds with one another.
Loved the caffeine high with Ivy then the brownie scene.
Absolutely amazing, got my Blues fix, for now.

This is not a standalone you need to read the previous books
What can i say about this book but damm. This novella really takes you on hell of a journey, each turn of the page was an expected emotion, I laughed so hard in this book (brownies) and i had tears and i had a lump in my throat and omg that damm ending wtf .. Way to kill me while im down lol
Once again Thandiwe has written another amazing read, that i could not put down.
After everything the group is not the same they are all at each other throats or not talking at all but its christmas and Astraea wants them all together and Ace no matter what will do anything to make her happy, even if it means bringing everyone together with the chance WW3 can erupt. Lets just say its not a easy time they go through it has its ups and downs it has its laughter its tears its heartbreak and it also has secrets and mystery at every turn. Loved every second of this book bring on the rest of the series ASAP!!!

Gosh, I absolutely missed this world!
This “novella” is actually what my twisted dark heart needed! Ace and Star has owned my heart from the beginning but gosh! Finally having the POVs for the rest of the WBB Crew was mind-f*€k!n£-blowing.
This not so little novella is absolutely the perfect introduction to the rest of the series. It gives you a peek into Ace and Stars lives while giving you a preview of the shit storm that is to come!

I loved, loved, loved this novella. I have missed Star and her Blue boys so much. I was so happy to catch up with Star and Ace, my most favorite couple ever!!! I have such a sweet spot for Noah and Emmett and it was wonderful to see where they are in life now. Kim and Ivy are both floundering. There is still so much story to be told with these incredible characters and I am all for it. I need more!!!! Thandie is such an amazing writer and I am just captivated with this world she has created!!!

For a novella, this one was very good! I loved seeing the blue boys reunited and with them, the girls who shake their world. I was so happy to see different POVs, how other stories will be developed in the future, and pretty much dying after its ending!!! I need more, this was not enough. Not even close...

Although a novella, this book is not a standalone and the first 3 books in the series should be read first to gain an understanding of the beloved characters!! Reckless Hate, Vicious Hate and Broken Hate
Omg I was so excited to get more of our boys, Noah, Emmet and Ace and lets not forget Astraea, Ivy and Kim.
Ace and Star are living together, the gang scattered, and its coming up to christmas. Star plots for them all to be together. This bunch of young people, damage and broken by their cruel and sadistic upbringing despite which they are still strong and determined. Their lives have never been normal, their love has always been loyal !!! Oh how i love these characters and this author most definitely keeps us on our toes with raw emotion, heart stopping twists and a group of peeps that you want to be right along side!!
YOU FEEL ALL !!! I pretty much wanted to be in this book with them and to protect them !! My love for them just grew, and i wanted to coddle each and every broken part of them !! Emmet oh my, that guy, so beautifully broken and so loyal and loving, Love he will never show, love he won' t allow himself to feel !! Noah, living his daily nightmares, struggling to even want to feel alive or connected to life.
Ace the ever protective of all those he loves or considers family. His life is devoted to keeping Star safe.
This broken group, come together in a cabin, emotions run high, so broken yet so together. Each trying desperately to keep their inner turmoils to themsevles so not to effect those they care about.
This author had me gripped, intense inner battles and intense twists and had me reeling and falling more in love with each of them.
But you should never let your guard down when this author writes !! OMG THE END!!! whattttt has she done !!!!! ALL I CAN SAY IS, I'M DYING DYING !!!
This novella has brilliantly led us to the next upcoming books and i can honestly say, I CAN NOT WAIT !!! I'M INVESTED !!!

I swear every time I read a new Thandiwe Mpofu book I think she's trying to make me lose my mind! Frosty Blues, a winter novella set in the Westbrook Blues world, is no different. It features all of our favorite Westbrook characters; Ace, Emmett, Noah, Astraea, Kim, Ivy, and even the yummy Spider. And just when you think you've got things figured out, Thandiwe throws you off the side of a mountain (figuratively), but, wow, is the cliffhanger worth it. I loved reading all the new angst and drama while the gang gets together for a Christmas vacation to remember. If you love this Series, this is a must read to set you up for Book #4! And if you are new to this author or Series, start with book #1 and you will be hooked! 5 Stars!

Loved this novella that updates Ace and Star's story as well as teasers to Noah/Kim's and Emmett/Ivy's story. There was lots of steam and chemistry between each of the couples. I can't wait for Emmett/Ivy's story. I ship them so hard. I was all choked up with how Emmett broke Ivy's heart and am curious how their story will pan out!

Los que menos me interesaban la verdad eran Ace y Astrea así que por ahi empezare
- Ace: Nunca podré superar lo que a Ace le paso, por ahora su historia se me sigue haciendo la mas traumante y el hecho que el último libro de su trilogía neta lo trataron MUY mal todos por mala comunicación me sigue cagando, su trauma esta super ahi y de cualquier modo siempre pone a Astrea primero pero neta creo que ya es tiempo de que empiece a tratar a todos los demás como parte de la fam, si me caga su actitud de asshole a veces.
- Astrea: Alch Astrea y yo acabamos mal en el libro pasado me vale jajajaja pero en este pues la entiendo un poco más, me gustó muuucho cuando dijo que ella sabía que todos los Blue Boys la amaban pero que se lo tomaba muy enserio, que cute.
Okok de estos dos pues ya hay trilogia osea ya se entendió su historia pero lo mejor de esta novela fue ver sneak peeks de las siguientes parejas
- Kim: LE TENGO UN AMOR MUY GRANDE A ESTE PERSONAJE osea neta aguanta todo y si si la cago pero se debe de entender por que osea estamos hablando de sus hermanitas chiquitas y no una, DOS. Me encanto que enseñaron el amor que le tiene a Noah y como neta se le hace un dios. Es una CHINGONA, la última hoja del libro neta me traumo pero al mismo tiempo era obvio que la que iba a decir todo era ella porque es una fregooona.
- Noah: La parte de Noah viendo el ataque de Kim por su trauma fue definitivamente de lo mejor en el libro, creo que Noah todavía tiene mucho que saber de Kim, lo único que le hubiera agregado en cuanto a la pareja era que enseñaran a Noah con algo de las hermanas como en el libro pasado cargandolas, eso me va a encantar lo espero muy ansiosamente. Creo que falta mucho de saber de Noah sobretodo el por que esta asi de enojado con el mundo porque obvio no todo es por Kim ahí hay algo más.
- Ivy: En Broken Hate me cayó bien pero pues obvio faltaba cosas de ella y neta ahora la A M O me urge saber su historia creo que va a estar suuuper interesante y su crush por Emmet (el wey que no la merece btw) esta muy relatable. Su trauma con no ser amada también creo que va a ser muy interesante y amena que se atrevió a decirle a Emmet.
- Emmet: PTM este wey, osea si LO AMO pero alch necesita ya ponerse al pedo no mamar, primero que nada que pedo que me hicieron pensar que amaba con todo su ser a Astrea cuando en esto se super ve que Ivy es la que le interesa desde siempre, se tiene que suuuuper poner al pedo neta aaaaghhhh pero su historia se ve que va a ser la M E J O R osea una hermana, su condición, ponerse al pedo con Ivy, su papá culerisimo, VIENE BUENO ESE LIBROOOO
No voy a hablar de George porque ese wey neta si no lo vale, no se como va a lograr que me caiga bien jajajajaa sorry not sorry ilm.

Amazing!!
I have been dying for this book since it was revealed it was coming in December and was gutted when it was delayed but i can admit it was so worth the wait!! Ace and Star are still nursing the wounds they each inflicted upon each other but they are both committed to each other and their future together. I loved the beginning where they both fought but were derermined to resolve things where as before they would both hold their feelings and thoughts in.
Noah and Kim seem more broken than before. Noah is hurt due to everyone always lying to him and because he fell hard for Kim i think he’s taken her lies as a hit harder than the rest but he doesn’t see that Kim is just as much if not even more hurt than he is. I think Kim has suffered so much abuse in her life, i have a feeling her and Noah’s book is going make me cry so hard. I really hope they can coke back together.
Ivy and Emmett is also going to be a tough story to read, i wanted to punch Emmett so hard in this short story, how can you hurt poor Ivy!

What the bloody hell was that ending?!!! But damn that's got me hooked!
It was so damn great revisiting this series! I think I finished reading the last book on November and I wasn't interested to check out the upcoming books, which were assumed to be about the other Blue Boys. But this book has made me pretty damn interested with those books now! And it's not because of the cliffhanger here.
The first three books didn't provide much information from the other characters so reading them from Astraea's and Ace's POV's wasn't enough for me to actually care. But I loved that this book had everyone's POV's! Ivy, Emmett, Noah and Kim! Like it gave so much input into everyone's heads and where they are at..and well Noah's the most dramatic to be honest. I wish he would get over the part that Kim lied to him. But one couple I was totally surprised about was Ivy and Emmett and damn I. Want. More! Ivy was barely there in the first three books and it was mainly about how Astraea was jealous of her and how she's suddenly involved with Emmett in a weird way. But I think I really like Ivy..despite the fact that she is way head over heels in love with Emmett. But that's just my insecurities about not being able to showcase my true feelings to others without getting crazy awkward..so ignore that.
Can't wait Thandiwe! Cannot wait!

Frosty Blues is packed full of so many delicious things.
I loved getting more of Ace and Astraea and seeing how they are together. Truly, they are still the same, but together they are perfect. They are both working to overcome the past and look forward to the future individually and together. Plus, there are a few fun surprises with them.
Noah and Kim…these two and the love/hate relationship they have for each other is on a whole other level. They have hurt each other, but there are also still something in both of them that deeply cares about the other and that comes out a few times. I absolutely am in love with the two of them.
Emmett and Ivy….these two. I LOVE THEM and I want so much more of them. There is so much to their past, the present time in this story and I’m sure their future will be no different.
The friendship between the girls is entertaining and truly fantastic. The relationship between the guys is unique in their own way. But the dynamic as a whole is great and these characters have truly found their own family together, even if it is rather dysfunctional.
It is packed full of Holidays, heat, and plenty of secrets that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

I love this story!
It helps show how much Star and Ace have grown in their relationship. Their relationship is not easy and the way they are still trying to make each other happy is sweet. I feel like that want what is best for each other, and it is the most romantic thing ever.
I love how we are getting the others too.
Kim and Noah! I want my babies to stop hurting and get together!!
I want more Emmett and Ivy! These 2 are perfect, I want to be Ivy, she's the kindest, strongest and sweetest, but she is a badass in her own way!
Oh, is anyone else curious about Spider?
I really wanted to see the relationship between Star and George, Twin Turbo are together again, finally met. I hated seeing how damaged their relationship had become. It hurt. Honestly, it put me off. It seemed too forced, especially since Star in the last 3 books wanted to solve her brother's murder and when he is back, she is not letting him explain.
Overall, I need MORE.
The girl power, the book-boyfriends, drama and on I am happily on my way to a book hangover!

Thandiwe has left me hanging again...
Broken Hate had left me with so many questions and things that I needed to be addressed..... well enter Frosty Blues and that banger of a cliffhanger and guess what??? Thandiwe added more to my list of questions lol!! She sucks me in from the beginning and I’m grasping to every word like a life line!
I loved catching up with Star and Ace! Ace will forever be my number one Blue Boy! The few chapters of this book were everything and and so raw and I am thankful for the author for opening up this couple and Star getting to the heart of insecurities!! Well done 👏👏
I liked the POV from all the characters which were felt were a good lead in to when they get their individual story! I cannot wait for the next book!! I’m hoping this next one will at least answer/explain the ending that dropped my jaw on the floor!!

This book was just perfect. I was so happy to read more about Star and Ace together.
This book was exactly what I needed. I loved the storyline of this book.
It had some interesting elements to it and some interesting revelations.
The plot twists in the book was something I did not see coming.
This book was totally different from the usual novella books.
I just loved getting a glimpse of something from everyone's lives.
Star and Ace are my favorite couple. Their chemistry like always is amazing.

Aww, I have missed this incredible bunch of misfits.
We start off with Ace telling us where he left off after the end of book three. He still a domineering arsehole we love but we get to see how vulnerable he really is about his relationship.
When Star decides to throw her friends into a cabin in the middle of the Colorado mountains for Christmas to try and fix the strain between them all. Thing go to shit pretty quickly.
With the burning sexual tension between the couple that aren’t even couple yet, Thandi has set an amazing scene.
With the absolute massive cliffhanger thrown at us all at the end of the book, I honestly cannot wait to see where the stories are going to take us. It’s sure to be one hell of an epic ride.

Short book, short review! I’m gonna get straight to the point when I say that Thandie did not skimp on this one. This novella was long awaited but so worth it. We get a chance to see where all our boys are at and of course no matter where they go, some sort of danger follows. Just when we thought everything was figured out, someone comes in to mess it all up. This novella also gave us the chance to catch up with the crew and get a glimpse into the stories to come!! I loved this book and it was not short of steam or angst in any way.
Ace and Star’s story is not over, but the others all have such complex stories that I cannot wait to read and unpack. Until then I guess this story will have to keep me satisfied 😂💙!!

From the very start i was just hooked. i was reading and reading and reading. the whole thing was just perfect, and words cannot explain how impressed i am with it.
I really loved the whole having multiple povs. i find it very nice to see things from others perspective and it was overall delightful to explore and learn more of others. The whole novella is something you wont regret reading. and that ending just keeps you wanting more!!! i absolutely adore Thandiwe's books and i cannot wait to read more of the Westbrook Blues books. I 100% recommend this to others if you have read Reckless Hate, Vicious Hate and Broken Hate.

Ohhh my goodness it was so good to be back with the blue boys and baby blue! I absolutely loved this short and sweet, well maybe not sweet lol reunion of our group! It starts off with Ace and Star and I immediately got teary eyed just to see how far they’ve come and how settled and in love they are. They’ve come such a long way and if anyone deserves happiness it’s them. Star arranges a Christmas getaway for the gang and even though it sounds like a good idea, with this group, it’s about to get crazy. From heartbreaks, to tears, to sexy time, to brownies haha, this memorable novella was just what I needed! And please let there be more because I am so ready for more! If you’ve read the Westbrook Blues series, this is an absolute must! And if you haven’t, what are you waiting for 😉💙

The gang is together again. And instantly there's a ton of secrets, lies and hurt in the air. They're just as broken, toxic and lost as they were before.
My girl Star is trying to help them in her own way but it isn't easy. And of course she has her own issues. You feel the tension while reading this. The frustration and hurt. You're waiting for the explosion to come.
