Incredibly brave story, well-written, and includes many aspects of abuse that are often ignored or swept under the rug, especially in relationships and marriages that look “picture perfect” on the outside. This book should be shared in every women’s group.

A heavy and heartbreaking read, but a story worth sharing over and over again. I’m sure there are many women with stories similar to Lorianna’s and it needs to be talked about, especially within the church. I applaud the bravery and courage it took to put this story into publication, but I hope it encourages other women not only in the same boat, but for outsiders looking in to seek help on their behalf.
