Holy Ending

Not Just A Great Read, But A Truly Off The Chart Emotional Experience!
I have a dilemma! How do I put into words a review that will do this amazing book by a gifted author, justice? This series….all 14 books, are so worth your time if you are like me and enjoy a well-written military romantic suspense series. 2-Stroke and Chry’s story is wrought with heartwarming and heart wrenching scenarios, cruelty and tenderness, redemption and forgiveness and oh so much passion. It is a testament to the human spirit and resilience as well as a glimpse into the dark side of humanity.
The journey from captivity to escape is such an adrenaline rush. Not one dull moment in this book! I love the fact that Ms. Dawson, through her stellar storytelling, allows readers to get a glimpse into the SEAL team brotherhood, the bravery and unwavering loyalty and commitment to the team and country. Neo’s definition of himself as a SEAL “…a shield and sword and proud to be both,” was a profound statement.
Probably my favorite part of this wonderful story is the written intimate scenes between Neo and Chry. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!! So full of tenderness and sheer love. As described, ….”he had drawn her into his very soul.”
As the story progressed, Saint and Aella’s developing relationship is equally well written.
So looking forward to Saint and Aella’s book. Ready for another mind blowing story which is eluded to in the Epilogue.
Five plus stars, Ms. Dawson. I won’t soon forget this book.

2-Stroke is book 14 of Zoe Dawson’s SEAL Team Alpha series.
It’s action packed, full of suspense which pulled me into the story from chapter one, we read about 2-Strokes teammates who are on the hunt for their missing brother and the CIA liaison officer.
Petty Officer Neo “2-stroke” Teller and CIA agent Chrysanthe Steele were taken and held captive at the end of the last book (yes, you can read this as a stand-alone but to enjoy it better I recommend reading the previous books, these characters are truly addictive so it won’t be a hardship)
The book flicks between Neo and Chry’s story, we read about how they’ve been friends since school, Neo had a heartbreaking childhood, and pulled away from Chry to join the Navy SEALS, during their brutal captivity we see their honest feelings begin to show, with possible outside help, their only chance of survival is to try and escape.
Alongside this, we read about Neo’s teammates and their quest to rescue them, this is where the story surprised me and I was delighted with a special relationship which developed and I can’t wait for Saint’s story 😍
This is a friends to lovers story with so much more, it’s a military themed romantic suspense story which is worth every penny spent on the book! 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘳!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "2-STROKE"
(SEAL TEAM ALPHA) Zoe Dawson always a pleasure to read your books so interesting, addicting, intriguing, captivating, intense danger, suspense filled drama, grief, loss, angst, brutal beatings, torture, heartwrenching, emotional action pack book.
I loved Neo "2-Stroke" Teller & Chrysanthe Steele's journey to find the love that's been their since they were younger so much happened in the past they lost touch for 12yrs.
Neo & his brother Striker have some issues to resolve because he left him and younger brother with abusive father & Neo had some pent up anger towards Striker feeling alone.
Neo joined the Navy because he felt so alone like no one wanted him he became a SEAL & left the only person he ever truly loved behind Chry but he's been so messed up.
I definitely recommend to get this excellently written book so addicting a page turner you can't get enough of so well worth the read with all the great interesting characters that make for one mind-blowing nail biter of a story you just don't want to miss getting.
I so can't wait for next book "SAINT" Zack Bartholomew & Aella Mikos's story.

While you could read this book as a total stand alone you will get far more from it if you have read the series and know the dynamics of the team and their back stories. This is on emotional roller coaster of a ride that will have you unable to put the book down as you turn the pages as fast as you can
Neo "2-Stroke" Teller is the closed down member of the team no one really knows his past and while his team is close to him he always keeps a little part of himself separate Now his past has come back with a vengeance When he and Officer Chrysanthe Steele are taken captive by Darko Stjepanic and Zasha Vasiler who 2-stroke's team have been after for a while They have done serious damage to their business and they will take out their revenge on 2-stroke and Chry. These two have history when 2-stroke joined the navy he not only left behind his brothers with an abusive father but also Chry the woman he loved. Can they find that love again can they work together to escape and if they do can they survive until 2-stroke's team finds them. You will have to go on this roller coaster ride to find the answers

We are back with another member of SEAL Team Alpha. This time the story belongs to Petty Officer Neo/2-Stroke Teller and Officer Chry/Chrysanthe Steele.
They were captured and tortured by the Russian Mafia. Attempts to escape failed. Can they live enough to escape once more?
While the story is filled with action that keeps you on the edge of you seat, a slew of bad guys, emotions, as well as good ones in the form of the SEAL teammates, it truly is more than the plot.
It’s a story about how one’s past affects one’s present and easily one’s future.
In this case, Neo’s childhood caused him to leave home and join the Navy. But in doing so, it also caused hurtful feelings between him and his younger brother, when the boy is left behind to deal with an abusive father. He also left behind his true love, Chry.
Now faced with danger and possible death,
will he have hope, a second chance in love, and learn to trust?

I loved this book, it is so full of emotion as SEAL Neo ‘2-Stroke’ Teller and CIA officer Chrysanthe Steele try to keep each other from giving up as they undergo abuse and torture following their capture and imprisonment by Darko and Zasha. Neo and Chrysler were close when they were younger, before Neo’s life changed dramatically and he left everything behind and joined the military. As his team do all they can to find and rescue them Neo starts to deal with memories and feelings he had locked away. Help from an unexpected source lets them escape, but will they be recaptured? This book is really well written, fast paced and with lots of twists and turns, I just couldn’t put it down. As well as Neo and Chrys we learn more about his team brothers and how one of them, Saint, and ATF Special Agent Aella Mikos meet and have a fling. I really looking forward to Saint’s story, coming next - I can’t wait. I thoroughly recommend this book - and the whole series.

Another absolutely fantastic Seal team read, I can't tell you how good this series is I hoard these books to be read as a treat to myself. Each one seems to be better than the last.
Kidnapped and held captive in the last book we return to Neo "2-Stroke" Teller & Chrysanthe Steele's story that started with their childhood. Neo & his brother Striker's story comes in also dealing with the past pain when he left him and his brother to suffer the abusive from their MC father.
Neo joined the Navy and left Chry behind and in pain from his departure.
This is an excellent book that's so addicting you can't get enough of, so much action and full of twist that leave you hanging in the middle of the night deep in the pages. I can't recommend this enough.

They endured torture and become closer.
They were almost rescued by 2-stroke team only to be whisked take away
again.
Neo and Chrysanthe were able escape with the help of Darko’s nephew.
They both were hurt doing their escape but was helped when his team finally
was able to catch up to them.
This was a great book, page turner, twists , turns, action packed and bring out lots of emotions.

When one of those women are taken hostage and tortured these men and women will go to great lengths to bring them home. What most people would give to shave those kind of friends and lovers. I recommend this book.

Zoe Dawson
I just love Zoe Dawson’s books. She had wonderful alpha males but female leads that kick but too. She packs both romance and exciting action in one book. I highly recommend her Seal Team Alpha series.

This was my favorite so far in the series. What 2stroke went through as a kid was gut wrenching. His emotions in the book were heart breaking but so beautiful to see him see the light. What a wonderfully crafted story

Loved the book. It catches my interest on Page one and holds it thru to the last page. When I get her books on my E reader I can't put them down until I'm done (usually on the same day I purchase the book, I finish the book, my husband limits my purchases of books cause I'd spend all my money on them so I pick my favorite authors and Zoe Dawson is one.) So far I have purchased the read the entire series starting with books 1 Ruckus on Nov 11 2019 thru to 2 Stroke on Feb 6 2021 and have been waiting for Saint since Feb 2021.Can;t wait until I can preorder on amazon for my kindle E reader. I pre order all my books to arrive on date of issue.
