Conner saved my life. Now I want to give him my virginity. But can I let him have my heart as well?
Conner rescues me when another pack attacks mine. He's a strong alpha who I'm definitely attracted to. But how can I go on when everyone I loved is gone? Under his protection, I heal, but my heart is broken. With sadness and despair clouding my eyes, I can't see the truth standing before me. Conner is my one true mate. I love how his strong hands gently caress my body. And I want to be with him for my first time. But what he wants is to be with me forever. He even wants me to bear his children.
Can I risk starting a new family after losing my own? Is my fate to be destroyed by grief or saved by love?
This steamy paranormal werewolf shifter romance contains no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed happy ever after.
Omg what a HORRIBLE story. Females are treated like crap. No say in their own lives at all. And him?? No better than any of them. What a selfish prick.
Oh God this book is shit. Horrible descriptive text from an author that apparently just got her first thesaurus but doesn't quite know how to use it ("Our robes slowly started to wither off our bodies...", ".. my avid fear of lightning." There's more of that crap, but I think you get the gist.) Add in a male lead that's a horrible jerk, and I'm so done. (Who says to a woman they barely know that she "owe[s him] so much sex"? ICK.) Really a DNF, as you couldn't pay me to get past the first half this garbage. Thank God it was free, though I don't know if I'll keep it in my library. This might be the first Kindle book I permanently delete.
I've found another author that I will follow. I'm attracted to paranormal stories that are well-written, imaginative, with a realism that parallels our human existence. We're all looking for love, a romantic partner, someone similar enough to accept most of our personalities, and yet different enough to maintain their independence and individuality. We want someone strong enough to love us and still be someone we can love! I've read two or three of Casey's stories and I'm looking forward to reading more!
It was good. The story line was a tad bit weak. This book is different than the others in the series. The beginning was intense but then it just kind of dragged. I guess I was hoping for this book to be the same as the others in the series.
I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for a review. I've read quite a lot of Casey Morgan and this book wasn't as good as others I've read. Somehow she sounded off. The story was good but could have been a lot stronger. It wasn't enough to put me off though.
This novel had a lot of up and down moments for me. One moment, I was completely sure I wouldn't keep reading it, the next I couldn't seem to put it down because I wanted to know what happened. In the end, I'm glad I stuck with it and finished it out.
A good read for people who are into the series recommended highly a good read but quick shaping up to be a great series must read the next of the series
