Ha. This book is a lot fun to play with and, perhaps, to justify when I start cutting off contacts with others (again).
Definitely not to be taken seriously and don't play it on your bad days, but it's pretty cool to play oracle with your friends. Especially during this lockdown.
This book is lots of fun to play with. Ask a question, then open it at random, and you receive a quotation from a great literary source which should have the answer for you. Or at least a suggestion. Maybe a word of advice? Pat on the back? Encouragement? You decide.
My suggestions about all oracles, whether tarot or this book is (1) don't use this on a bad day, and (2) remember, that it only shows what is possible now, not necessarily in the future. You, and only you, can change the beat.
