This book was an absolute tear-jerker! It tells the story of Lacey, who is always dreaming about the family she wishes she had. Snatched by Letresa Renee is a thrilling ride that is both heartbreaking and yet ultimately uplifting!
I truly enjoyed this story. I was wondering why this lady was snatching kids & then turns out they were all from the same neighborhood. I didn't realize it till the end of course but definitely knew she was crazy. Some of the things in the story will make you wonder how these parents don't see this woman roaming around. Especially the way they described her in her appearance. You can't miss her! Then later, the ending...sheesh! But I caught that (not THAT) when her parents said something & disowned her for marrying her husband!
This story is so twisted! After reading the book "Margo" I just knew, hoped and prayed for a sequel and I found it here in Snatched". The story is so convoluted you can't stop reading. Kidnapping peoples children is just the most awful thing you can do to them! And when the fallout comes all you can do is shake your head in disbelief Although the story hasn't come full circle yet I'm quite sure more bombs will be dropped. Everybody should be careful how they move because v there's always someone watching. In this book this crazy lady is kidnapping kids left and right and raising them as her own. The abuse that she pounds on them is uncalled for . They were all at extremely vulnerable ages upon being taken so its harder for them yo understand what's going on. Thankfully the old bat was getting sick and needed to relocate. That gave one little girl the courage to seek answers. Oh boy did she find them! Now when we thought it was all over, we get smacked in the face with continuing madness. Going to read "Snatched 2" today!!
Suspenseful and unsettling. As I read the child abuse inflicted on three young children by a sadistic, vengeful and unstable kidnapper, I cringed. The ending was somewhat predictable, but this was not a deterrent in holding my interest.
The story is fast-moving, and I was drawn into it from the beginning. There were parts of the narrative where the author overstated the obvious rather than allowing the reader to extrapolate the character's perspective. Also, relative to the buildup throughout the book, the closure was a little too swift. But, overall, I thought the story was captivating.
Oh wow this story was crazy I'm glad she got her daughter back but to now find out you have to search for your own parents now is just crazy and how this crazy one just go around stealing people kids like that just because she went through her own problems I hope she never see the light of day and loom at the husband now if only he believed what his wife was telling him instead of being miserable and messy shame on him
Snatched by Letresa Renee is a gripping story about identity, family, and the strength of a mother’s love. Lacey’s journey from isolation and confusion to truth and freedom is both heartbreaking and inspiring. The dual perspective between Lacey and Lily adds emotional depth and keeps you turning pages. Full of suspense, heart, and hope—this book will stay with you long after the last page. A must-read!
This story is different from my normal read. The storyline is so interesting and definitely kept me interested and wanting more. It is well written with a steady flow. So many secrets are coming to light. I am enjoying these interesting characters and can't wait for more. This was my first read by this author and I definitely recommend everyone read it.
This was definitely different from my normal reads and I am looking forward to reading more from this author. The storyline was captivating and had me stuck from the beginning to the end. I won’t give away details but this book kept me in suspense and trying to guess what was going to happen next.
This reminded me of those old Lifetime movies regarding kids being abducted and I enjoyed every moment of it
This story has me intrigued from the synopsis. It was well written to where you felt as if you were watching the story unfold right in front of you. The determination of Lacey is what sucked you in the most. That end has me shook though and I hope there is a part 2!!
Sometimes I can predict where the storyline is headed and as I read I was right about some of it. The ending totally blew me away. It took me about three hours to read because I couldn't put it down. It's also a rather short book but it was just the perfect length for this story. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I downloaded this book. It is a slow starter, but once it's going, its wild. The psychological tropes and triggers were vast and touched on so much in such a short read. The reveal to wrap it up was icing on the cake.
This was an interesting read! It was well written, but for me, it dragged and picked up about halfway through the read. I definitely wasn't expecting that twist at the end. I look forward to reading pt 2 to see how things unfold!
This was a story I really liked reading I zoomed through this book. All the twist and turns and the end omg!!! Can’t wait to start book 2. If ur tired of the same romance, drama, gang banging, millionaire, etc… definitely read this.
This book had me in a choke hold from the first page right up until the last sentence! It's written in such a way that you can't help but come up with your own theories as you read. You will not be prepared for the ending, but don't worry there's a part two!
Wow, This was an amazing read. My heart ached for the babies, they were so traumatized but yet so brave. I wasn't expecting the end. Great job by this author.
I wish I would've read this sooner! This was such a good story it kept me glued til I finished. I felt like I was watching a crazy good Lifetime movie. Time for part2!
This book took me through it. My heart went out to Lacey and Amber. They were not only snatched from their biological family, but they were also traumatized by their kidnapper. That woman did those babies wrong. The kidnapper was the definition of needing to be in a padded room with no chance of getting out. There were some many twists and turns in this book. I was not expecting any of them. That ending, though, mindblown. This author did an amazing job. I'm excited to dive into book 2.
