This was my first book by Jenna Rose. It's a short one, but I feel it has just the right pace for the story she wants to tell. And what a story this is!
This is a steamy (well, maybe scorching is more appropriate) love story, and also kind of sweet in its own way.
"Is it manipulative? Yes.
Childish? Maybe
Do I care? Not at all."
Damon is a mob boss, a criminal, used to getting what he wants, when he wants it. And all is well in the criminal field, but what happens when he wants something he can't have? Worse yet, something he doesn't think he deserves, because he's not used to happiness or the easy life?
Lily is the sweet stepdaughter, and he wants her. Desperately. He tries not to, but it's too much for him to bear. Especially because she is also teasing him.
Well, what would happen if they were to find out they want each other? That they deserve each other? And that there's no point in denying it anymore? That's the plot for a good book right there.
There's nothing like feeling like you belong with (and to) someone. And, you know, there are different paths to a happily ever after - and Damon and Lily get to enjoy both the ride and the destination.

Daddy ,Is that you ?
This was a quick and dirty read that will literally knock your socks off. Damon "Scar" Ramones is a mafia leader and Lily is his innocent stepdaughter. They never expect to start to develop feelings for each other but when they do all h*** may break loose. Lily just needs a Daddy and Damon is just the guy to give it to her.
For my romance readers out there this is a May/December romance, plenty kinky, it is safe, no cheating, and lots of sexy tempting scenes to make you swoon.
I have recommended this to my bestie and I will definitely read more from this author.

Jenna Rose has been a most read author for me for some time now and this book only adds to that distinction. Ms. Rose has a way of drawing you into her books from the 1st page to the last with her amazing storytelling and world building, and that's not always easy with a short story. Her characters are so delightfully flawed that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. Damon and Lily's story is one of thinking that you don't deserve your happy ending but soon realizing that you can't help reach for it. This book has everything that you could want: comedy, action, drama, conflict and of course hot, hot romance (it is a Jenna Rose book after all). You might want to have a large glass of iced tea and probably a fan on hand when you read this one. You will be very sorry if you miss this absolutely fantastic book!

I thought that this was a hot yet some what sweet book. Damon tries to resister sweet Lily but is unable to. I really enjoyed how Lily was willing to try anything to try anything to get Damon to come to her; she was willing to do anything to do anything to get her man. Lily and Damon were two halves of a whole; they were the opposites of each other but were perfect for each other. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see what Ms. Jenna has in store for us next! I would recommend this book and Ms. Jenna as an awesome author!

Better and better.
You are gonna need to keep a fire hose handy to cool the flames from this baby. Just when you think her books can’t get any hotter, she does it. The storyline may seem thin at first, the way she brings you into the emotions and chemistry of Damon and Lily is nothing short of miraculous. Perfect mix of alpha male, innocent girl, passion and love with an HEA!

Dammmmmnnn. This book is hot but still kinda has a sweet side. Damon fights his inner self trying to keep Lily innocent. He is a scary dude that tries and fails to keep her away.
If you like hot sex this is your book. Jenna is an amazing author. Love all her books. Yes this is a stepdad/stepdaughter book but it's a partnership marriage not a love.

It sounds taboo...but there’s a twist! And oh does he fight it - and he puts up a good fight too. Damon may not have been a good man but in the end he was a good man for Lily and I think that’s all that really matters! This was definitely hot and steamy. I’d read it again!

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were intriguing. The Mob boss Damon is ruthless dangerous, he is a criminal, he is married to Marla on paper only they have never slept together, never consummated their wedding vows, he has vetted every boyfriend that Marla has taken. Marla had sent her daughter (Lily) to boarding school and now she is home. Lily walks around in Damon's t-shirt, sleeps in his bed and even showers in his bathroom. Damon walked in the bathroom and watched, he ended up moving out he could not handle being around Lily, Lily plays up with going boy crazy. Marla asks for help Damon sees red kidnapped her to stop her, the chemistry between them was intense walking around hard all the time, he kept trying to walk away, Lily was not allowing him to walk.

This is the story of Lily and Damon. Damon is married to Lily’s mom but their marriage in reality is a business agreement. He is the King of the mob in Philadelphia. When he met Lily, he was completely attracted to her but he didn’t want to corrupt her and take her to his world. Lily felt the same for him and decided to teasing him to get him. She wanted her daddy and he wanted her too.
This novel describes a real theme: mob, corruption in the FBI, love between people of different ages. The author created great characters and interesting plot. I love the way the characters interacted and how Damon transformed himself and showed vulnerability to Lily when he professed his love. He wanted the best for her, being together and leave his criminal life behind. Great book! Great story! Great characters!

Could’ve been so much better.
Another book by this author where the hero is gross and sleeps with others. “I tried distracting myself with women, but it had the opposite effect. Their lack of perfection reminded me of Lily’s.”
I hated that and it’s the reason this book isn’t 5 stars; I’m also not giving it one star since the hero was running away from the heroine, he didn’t know he loved her and had no intention of being with her. That’s the only reason I’m giving this one a pass with 3 stars because the sex scenes were smoking.
Hero is married to the heroines mother but it’s a marriage in name only. So besides ow grossness, there’s the hero sleeping with others and there’s also om drama where the heroine dates other boys (no sex involved) in order to get the heroes attention. It works. Heroine is a virgin, there’s a HEA w/ epilogue 4 yrs out.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Damon’s stepdaughter returns from boarding school he tries his hardest to resist her. How long will he last?
The chemistry between Damon and Lily is clear to see and I liked them together. That being said, I wish we got more of them officially together. The majority of the story was the build up to Damon giving in to his desires. I liked Lily but did feel like she was immature a lot of the time.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

This is a short romance story with a step theme and a bit of darkness (although not too much). I found the story to be very well written and easy to read, quickly drawing me in. Damon is a bad man, Lily is his step daughter. Lily is sweet and younger than Damon and Damon is trying to stay away. This is a short but so steamy and entertaining. This book has so much more going on in the background crime, and other corruption. The characters were well developed and interesting. The interaction and they way Lily flirted with Damon, was all written really well. This story was just amazing. Just an amazing story line.

Lily thinks her stepdad is super hot, so she wears barely any clothes in an attempt to seduce him even though he’s a mafia boss. He never rises to the bait, until one day she goes too far by inviting boys over. Then he decides it’s time for Daddy to step in.
Clearly involves a daddy kink and some breeding action. Very short but has steam.
Safety notes: stepfather never had relations with heroine’s mom. He only met her after she turned 18 when she came back from boarding school. Heroine’s a virgin.
I’d keep this on my shelf and reread.

Un libro con daddy issues, diferencia de edad y padrastro jefe de la mafia.
No estuvo mal, las escenas eróticas fueron buenas, la tensión entre los protagonistas tampoco estuvo nada mal, pero, no me gustó toda esa actitud machista, trate de pasarlo por alto pero de verdad no pude.
Por ejemplo esto:
La mayoría de las chicas de su edad son putas, publican
fotos de sí mismas por todo Internet para que las vea cualquier
hombre o entregan sus coños usados a cualquier chico con un
coche y una aplicación de citas.
Agh, ven, no no, no puedo dejarlo pasar. Y esa es una entre muchas otras.

He gets out of the life by turning in some corrupt fbi guys, and he divorces the old wife, and marries Lily. They have a son and move out to the country where they keep to themselves.

A really enjoyable age gap taboo romance! It is well-written, fast pace, funny, emotionally deep, and hot with drama, seduction, push and pull, and more! The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is intense and undeniable! Definitely recommended!
