Two weeks, Kyle Clady has been propelling himself forward. Fourteen days of trying to unravel the people and reasons behind the senseless murder of his wife in Balboa Park.
A desperate search that pushed him harder and farther than any he experienced as a Navy SEAL.
A journey that finally ends tonight.
Rising with the sun, Kyle finds himself in a newly formed alliance. A shared venture with someone he was facing off against just hours before, each recognizing a kindred spirit in the other. A fellow fighter with a shared enemy. A man with goals parallel to his own, each needing something from the other.

A trust Kyle is willing to extend to finally give himself and his wife both the peace they deserve.

Across town at that very moment, Detective Marsh is on the backend of another long night. A desperate search in the face of mounting pressures and dwindling time, his entire focus on uncovering the identity of the woman alluded to by the last surviving associate of the Wolves.

A woman that is already busy with her own list of tasks. Final threads to be snipped clean, allowing her and her employer to move forward.

Four individuals serving as a subset of the many affected by the events of the last couple of weeks. People continually pushing onward in search of the conclusion they’ve been chasing for so long…

I originally hail from the midwest, growing up in the heart of farm country, and still consider it, along with West Tennessee, my co-home. Between the two, I have a firm belief that football is the greatest of all past-times, sweet tea is really the only acceptable beverage for any occasion, there is not an event on earth that either gym shorts or boots can't be worn to, and that Dairy Queen is the best restaurant on the planet. Further, southern accents are a highly likeable feature on most everybody, English bulldogs sit atop the critter hierarchy, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with a Saturday night spent catfishing at the lake.

Since leaving the midwest I've been to college in New England, grad school in the Rockies, and lived in over a dozen different cities ranging from DC to Honolulu along the way. Each and every one of these experiences has shaped who I am at this point, a fact I hope is expressed in my writing. I have developed enormous affinity for locales and people of every size and shape, and even if I never figure out a way to properly convey them on paper, I am very much grateful for their presence in my life.

To sum it up, I asked a very good friend recently how they would describe me for something like this. Their response: "Plagued by realism and trained by experiences/education to be a pessimist, you somehow remain above all else an active dreamer." While I can't say those are the exact words I would choose, I can't say they're wrong. I travel, live in different places, try new foods, meet all kinds of different people, and above all else stay curious to a fault.

Here's hoping it continues to provide us all with some pretty good stories...

Another great mystery. Kyle is trying to figure out what happened to his wife, who did it. I was totally gripped from beginning to end, trying to guess what is going on. Don’t miss out.

Stevens’ closing novel of the My Mira series promises an anxiously awaited final scene to a gripping adventure. Readers will be torn between learning what Kyle Clady’s love, loss, pain, and the death, and destruction that followed were all about and having the story continue - because it was that powerful. I can’t honestly say which way I would cast my vote.

Until Death continues to explore the depth of characters and a plot that will not release its grip. Flashbacks continue to appear in Until Death and readers will likely find themselves reading them a second time. Very well done. Few authors lead readers into feeling a character’s emotion - I find Stevens unique in how he does it.

With fewer bad guys the action becomes more focused - but no outcome can be certain. In some ways the series was metaphorical of the battle of good versus evil - but life is more complicated. More appropriate is a battle between arrogance and hubris and determination of an aggrieved warrior who is a firm believer in the moral necessity of revenge. Oddly enough, the corrupt Senator is an official of the government that trained Kyle Clady with the skills to claim revenge. I found synergy in this.

Det. Marsh is now fully in the game and finally pointed in the right direction - giving Kyle required breathing room and more backup. Kyle and Sven have stitched together an unlikely battlefield alliance against a common enemy - the corrupt Senator and Elsa Teller, who makes Disney’s Cruella look like a Girl Scout. Sven did the heavy lifting with the Wolves and Kyle acknowledged that and with a bonus seals the deal.

Throughout the series readers are also given insights to duty, loyalty, friendship, and commitment - of all the players. I found this a fascinating aspect of the character development and a boost in the intensity level of the series. My Mira was an excellent adventure on several levels - each segment was fresh and the author was always one step ahead and made sure the reader remained on the edge of the chair. Introduce a friend to this series - they will thank you for it.

9 Book Saga?

My MO is when I find an author I like, I search out more of their writings. My path with Dustin Stevens started with the Billy and Reed series. Went for the Zoo Crew set and had no qualms committing to purchasing the full set of My Mira Saga. Looked forward to nine books, great! My disappointment came at the end of the first in the series. An abrupt ending to a too short story. I don't know why the author and publisher decided on this format. More bang for the buck? The story line was good and the treatment of flashing to the past well done, but none of the books could be viewed as complete unto themselves. If you stripped out all the repeat info provided in every short book in the series ( to give the reader background of the characters and events to date), you could have one decent novel. So, as much as I enjoyed the story, I couldn't help feeling that I was being strung along, stretched out and cheated. Don't like the format and will be wary of purchasing full sets from this author in the future without testing the first novel in any of the authors other series before committing my time and money!

The Final Book In the My Mira Series

This final book brings closure to the entire series.
It also gives you a better understanding of the pent up emotions that Kyle has regarding the loss of his wife, his home and his dreams of his future with Mira.
In the end, he teams up unexpectantly with an adversary to see that justice comes to the people responsible for all the destruction in his life. You might question some of the decisions that Kyle and his friends make in order to see that this justice is served.
This series has many twists and I recommend reading it.
You must read the series in order. There are nine books in total, but each one is shorter than a novel.

Kyle Clady, ex navy seal, has spent two harrowing weeks trying to find out the what, where, who and why his wife was murdered. He and his navy friends have put up with cops, an assassin and a motorcycle gang. Tonight is the end game when all the pieces will finally come together. An unusual agreement with one of the parties involved will bring this nightmare to end. Dustin saved the best for last in this series. Non stop action will keep you hopping to the very end ! You have to read the whole series and get blown away with the rest of us ! Hate to see this end, it has been so awesome !

A continuation of Kyle Clady's revenge for the ones responsible for taking his Mira.
For 2 wks, since her death, he has faced the unimaginable, to extract the justice he has so desperately sought.
Dustin has, once again, delivered a book that not only holds your interests, but leaves you wanting more.
Personally, I would love to see a series with Kyle and Swinger, in an investigative setting, once again chasing bad guys.
As always, with Dustin's books, I highly recommend each of them. His way of bringing his characters to life is unparalleled,

Bittersweet for Kyle's series to come to an end with book 9.

Do I love the way that Kyle goes about getting revenge for his losses? Maybe not. But revenge is not perfect, and Kyle and his friends surely experienced that. The loss of your wife, home, and Mira may have driven Kyle to a darker place that leads him to team up with the unexpected to get revenge. The rabbit holes are many and each one as amazing as the last. I would recommend reading this series in order. But oh, is this firstly a worthy series, but also one that once reread you will discover new hidden treasures.

I loved this series !

This is a romance to remember! I read a lot, everyday. At first I was confused by the way the story was dragged out. After the first couple of books, it all made sense. Reading this series again in a couple years from now will be a must for me.
I enjoy murder mysteries and military novels as much as romances.
This was a combination of all three.
Dustin Stevens is now a favorite author of mine! Bravo on your story telling.
Thank you.

My Mira - A Perfect Novel

I try to do minimal reviews, but for this one I might not succeed.

This 9 book series was nearly perfect ... but some proofing was not perfect.

The story is fantastic, even though I was sad nearly the whole way through.

The protagonists were excellent; the antagonists, too. Easy to dislike them immensely.

The many flashbacks were a bit too much to take, even though I understood the reason for this format.

It is an excellent read ... times nine!

Heartbreaking story of true love.

9 books was almost too many. The torture of wondering why Mira was murdered and wanting Kyle to get a release from the agony he was enduring, permeated every page, and made my heart ache with every
memory of them that was shared. Woven together to show true, deep, abiding friendships that made a fantastic and satisfying story... though filled with so much pain.

From start to finish this series was a terrific ride. Full of action and also tender moments, we discovered all the characters as we moved through their various lives a little at a time. Then we come to this the last in the series and all is revealed and I will not spoil anything but it is a blockbuster finish for me. Read it and all the ones before you will not regret it.

The descriptions of Kyle's love for Mira are poetic, eloquent and heartbreaking. One can feel his pain and his loss. Mr. Stevens has written a powerful book with stunning characters, scenes and dialogue perfectly crafted into a masterful narrative of love and revenge.
Outstanding and Very Highly Recommended.

Until Death My Mira Saga.

I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this Saga from start to finish. Each book adding more intrigue as it progressed until it came to this final book and ending. You started to feel as though you really knew the characters involved and could feel his pain and loss. A series that I will definitely reread further down the line. Thank you Dustin.

What a series!

For the most part, I don’t like a series like the Mira Saga. I like a book that starts, has a finish and ends in one book! I went from book to book like there was no end because the books drew me in and kept me interested! It’s an action book and a love story all wrapped up in 9 books!

I liked this series, but I felt it could have been condensed into 4 books, since each book seemed a little shorter than a 'normal' book. Just my personal opinion. Each book built the story a little more, and I got impatient waiting to see how it all ended. This is why I gave the four-star rating for the first 8 books.

Kyle Clady is still searching for why and who killed his wife Mira and set their house on fire. He forms an alliance with Sven who is not an allies. They form a plan to find out the truth and hopefully make them pay. This novel is a page turner with a lot of action.

Best series ever

This series was an action story but one that also made me cry more than once. Nine books in the series and I still didn't want it to end. Mr. Stevens is one of the best authors around today. Can't wait to see what comes next.

Fantastic !!

I have totally enjoyed reading this series of books. Right from book 1 I couldn’t wait until the next one came out. All of it put together having me rooting for every small success for Kyle Clady. Every book continued that way until the fitting ending.

Review of "Until Death: A Thriller"

What a conclusion to a fantastic story! Once I started each book I couldn't put it down. This tale was masterly told and characters expertly developed from the first book to the last. I would recommend anybody to read the entire series!

Good but maybe 3 books to tell the story in my opinion

I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I read by Dustin Stevens. This one though wore me out from some of the repetitive concepts from one book to the next.

Until Death

I can't imagine the energy and attention it took to write this series of books. I understand why it was necessary to have so much repetition to bring first-time readers up-to-date, but it was a little tedious for those of us who read the series straight through.

My Mira saga, Dustin Steven

This series, all nine books, was such a good story! Each time I finished a book, I couldn't wait to buy the next one, even at two am. I wanted to know why also.

Review of Dustin Steven's 9book series

It is hard to imagine he could write about 2500 pages which are really 5 stories all tied together but still separate. I still don't know why the Dr. and Kyle's wife were considered a threat to Teller and the Senator. Lmk

A great ending to a great series, another one that kept me reading into the wee hours. Though I must admit, I was glad to get to closure.
