Zach “Saint” Bartholomew has always followed the rules—does what’s right. But when Special ATF Agent Aella Mikos is captured and held by a Somalian warlord, all bets are off. As he and his team navigate the ranks of the brass, the mission to release her hits several snags and is called off. Saint is ordered to stop his reconnaissance and return to the team. An order he disobeys. He cuts all communication and goes after Aella himself, right into the jaws of the enemy. He will rescue her or die, risking his life, his career and his honor. Against all the odds, he will rescue the woman he hasn’t been able to forget.
Aella, in the tight grasp of the warlord, is forced to fight against many opponents to keep control over her body. If she loses, she forfeits her right to say no. While in captivity, she discovers that the warlord has taken hostage three young girls, kidnapped from a grade school to serve his lascivious intent. Aella desperately needs to escape, but she won’t leave the girls behind. When Saint finds her, they team up to get the girls back to their village and parents, even as the ruthless warlord pursues them. As they fight for their safety and the safety of the girls, they discover a deep bond that each had ignored, but are their complications too numerous to allow love to claim them and lead them into a forever after.
Zoe Dawson, the author of 40+ books had always dreamed of becoming a full-time romance writer. Her other passions include traveling the world, owning a beach house (she believes she was a mermaid in another life), and seeing her books in movies. When she’s not writing, she’s painting or killing virtual MMORPG monsters in World of Warcraft. She lives in North Carolina with her two grown children and one small, furry gray cat.
This series follows SEAL teams through their deployments, with plenty of action, suspense and of course the strong heroine’s that bring these alpha SEAL’s to their knees 🥰
Book 1, Ruckus is currently FREE, I highly recommend starting at book 1 as you can then get to follow the teams through their struggles, heartbreaks and HEA’s/HFN’s. The characters are really likeable and addictive, the author writes in a way that pulls you in emotionally, I’ve grown very attached to these alpha boys, and resilient women.
Right, as for Zach “Saint” Bartholomew….he is my favourite of the whole series so far! It had action, tension, passion and of course team, brotherhood & a family feel which I’ve come to love about the books. The storyline has been ongoing and I won’t give too much away but with one book to go in the series which will be Lieutenant Ford “Fast Lane” Nixon’s story, all I can say is it’s hotting up, and I feel his book will be intense.
Zach & Aella have had a brief history, their passion heated my kindle up in this book, but before they could look at fixing something real, they had an escape to organise, children to protect and plenty of twists, turns & struggles to overcome. In this race to safety and completion of both their own personal team goal & objectives they must come together to defeat the enemy. Fantastic Military Romantic Suspense 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Special note for the book…I adored Ruckus’s appearance in this book, with a little brief insight I was sad, but so happy for his team…and I really hope “Rock” gets some happiness in his future 💔😩😱
Another Masterfully Crafted Installment To Seal Team Alpha Series
Wow….just wow! If I was able to give this book as well as each book in this series more stars, I wouldn’t hesitate. I was trying to think of a way to describe Zoe Dawson’s story telling ability to do her justice. I came up with this scenario. Writers use words to form sentences that then express thoughts that somehow create a story. Not all authors create stories with their words that draw us in to a point that we want to do nothing else but transport ourselves into the story at hand until the last sentence is read. Ms. Dawson’s stellar storytelling does nothing short of creating a visceral response from her readers. I am compelled to give you an example of what I am referring to, and I promise it is NOT a spoiler. Zasha: “She wanted his screams, his pain, his agony in her ears, in her eyes, in her very pores. She wanted his blood all over her.” Aella (with Saint) “Locking her arms around him she yielded everything-her mouth, her body, her strength-driven by a need that burned through to her very soul.”
Both excerpts elicit raw emotion and I found myself really feeling those words. Rarely am I privileged to read lines in a story with such pure passion and intensity. It made for an amazing read.
The storyline with its plot and subplots were unforgettable and seamlessly woven together. Highly developed characters throughout. As I’ve stated in my previous reviews, give this ENTIRE series a chance. I promise you that you won’t regret the money and time spent. I can’t wait for “Fast Lane’s” book. Counting the days for sure. Ms. Dawson set the stage for another adventure packed, emotionally charged story. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️……………!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "SAINT" OMG!!!! What an awesome riviting, intriguing, suspense filled action packed drama, danger, humor, angst, hot intimate scenes, twist that had you glued to to your seat. Zack "Saint" Bartholomew is one SEAL that's akways followed the rules until ATF Agent Aella Mikos is kidnapped by a Somalia Warlord Axmed Omar along with 6 children locked in same cell as her. Saint for the first disobeys the rule he's going after Aella he gets cut off from his team so he's on his own he'll rescue her or die trying. Saint didn't expect to be taking 6 children to safety alone with Aella their are some humorous scenes with 13yr old Yasmin going on 30 & 6yr old Uba loved it they needed it with everything they were going through to get everyone to safety. I definitely recommend to get this amazing well written story by Zoe Dawson who never disappoints always look forward to her books such a talented story Teller I'm so looking forward to the next book "FAST LANE'S" story. I loved having alot of the characters from previous books coming to help the team deal with that vicious revengeful Sasha Vasiliev & Darko Stjipanic their up to no good its a must have book for sure.
Saint by Zoe Dawson SEAL Team Alpha Series Book Fifteen Zach “Saint” Bartholomew thought he could walk away from his quick affair with Aella. He’d left her in the hospital and went back to San Diego. He had his life, and she had hers. But when they were sent to rescue her from an evil warlord, he accepted what he’d known for the past six months; he wasn’t even close to being over her. Special Agent Aella Mikos had tried to move on after Zach returned to California. She even started dating a nice, stable man. But she knew he was only a replacement for who she really wanted. Now, none of that mattered. She was in a predicament and had six young girls to save too. She knew Zach would come. Just knew it. Another face-paced story of danger, rescue, romance. Several new characters were introduced in this book too. **Sexual content and language https://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com...
We are back with another member of SEAL Team Alpha . This time it’s Zach/Saint Bartholomew that gets his story. Saint has always been a “by the book” guy. He never expected to break the rules until the Somalia mission is scrubbed. He can’t leave ATF Agent Aelia Mikos in the hands of a warlord. A move that could Court Marshall him . His solo rescue intensifies when it’s not only Aelia he needs to rescue because the warlord is keeping young girls for his pleasure and neither is willing to leave them behind. In this nail biting, edge of the seat, deadly adventure, you will fall in love with Saint and be amazed by Aelia’s inner strength. Never a dull moment in this story. I think it’s one of the best in the series. I was entrusted copy of this book. the opinions expressed are solely my own.
WOW another brilliant read that is the perfect mix of suspense angst and drama and this one is so red hot you won't want to put it down
We all know the guys of Seal Team Alpha and we all know that Zach “Saint” Bartholomew is the rule follower the one that always does the right thing So why has he suddenly thrown the rule book out the window gone rogue and risked been court marshalled The answer is Special ATF Agent Aella Mikos a woman who draws him in and who he can't leave in the hands of a Somalia Warlord Axmed Omar While he has no problem getting to Aella he had no idea that he would not only be bringing her out of the camp but six young girls as well These girls are the comic relief in this story Throw in villains that have been at the bottom of alpha teams problems for a while and you have a roller coaster ride that you can't get off until you turn the last page
ATF Agent Aella Mikos and Saint spent some very passionate time together a few months previously, but being aware of career commitments and being based on opposite sides of the country they did not make further arrangements to meet. However Saint kept thinking about her, and when she was captured by a Somali Warlord and his team were dispatched on a rescue mission he couldn’t stop worrying about her. Several things went awry however, and whilst separated from his team Saint found himself disobeying an order in order to save Aella and a group of young girls. There is such a lot going on in this book, as well as some really hot scenes between Saint and Aella, -I don’t want to spoil it for anyone so will say no more, other than this book is so worth your time. I was really looking forward to reading Saint’s story, and it definitely did not disappoint - the best book in this series so far. Zoe Dawson has done such a brilliant job in developing the background and story line with each successive book that I am totally hooked, and am now counting the days until Fast Lane comes to life.
All Zoe Seal team alpha books have been amazing, intriguing, exciting. Saint is an amazing seal, brother, friend, and loyal to fault. He has seen much horror, death, amazing saves. Aella has also seen a lot, experienced horror but also has known passion. She and Saint have a past but at the time they were looking out for the other’s feelings and jobs but not seeing what they could be.
Finally they see each other. Can Fast Lane find his happiness again? .
This was a very good book! The plot was great, with lots of deeper levels woven into it. Lots of new characters were introduced, but it wasn’t overwhelming to the reader. Hopefully the author is laying the foundation for more books in the series…
Solid addition to the series and I am looking forward to the next one!
Saint and Arella’s story kept me reading until I finished the book. It was full of action, suspense, and hot sex. I can’t wait for her next book in the series.
