Life is full of things...love, loss, heartbreaks and laughter. No matter how small...each moment has a value. Then there are big moments. The moments that define us and the people who share our very existence. No matter what we go through... It's up to us to set us free and still stand to gain. Because it's not about what came before but what comes after.
I found this novel in groupe , i downloaded it knowing that i won't read it.. But surprisingly i found some time and read it . It take so much courage to put yourself in a spot where everyone can judge you easly. The love relationship was disapointing at least in my pov , you were young and he took adventage of your inoscence ...you were wrong too ..the mistake was your doing (equally)..it wasn't just an emotional reationship but it involved kissing(physical) too...
The best Part of your novel is the one including your fatherand his painful death (alah yerahmah) i almost cried .
The writing style :at the beggining i felt like you are showing off by using diffrent words for the same thing and braging with some lines ..that regressed a page after anothor and thank god it stopped (joking)
The story was fun , i think you will be a good writer in the future if you get outside of youself ..this book shouldn't be your debut novelbecause it's too personal and private .
This review is from someone who sat for an hour just to read your work ..i am giving you an honest feedback ,the one that you can improve yourself by it.
I noticed also that you used so much lines from diffrent authors as if it's yours and here i am here sitting and thinking that you should write their names in this case .
I am just a reader who happened to enjoy your work and wished for you all the best 💙
This book felt like a stream of thoughts, easy to go through; perfect on a sunny day alongside a refreshing drink. And the one that gets you out of a reading slump.
As soon as I reached the 3rd chapter, the change of events affected my opinions about this book. Some tears were shed and I just wanted to be able to comfort the author at the time of the events.
With that being said, hat off to Manel Baiou for having the courage to write her story down, to share it with us through her promising style. I encourage the EFL reading community to give this work a try)
I bought the book today, after meeting the author and her telling me what the book was slightly about, I was excited to see how she translated the story into words in a book.
On and all I enjoyed the book, but (there is always a but!), some lines didn't make sense to me, the first few pages disappointed me, the writing style was a little bit off, also was the novel supposed to be a dairy? Since she said " Now -after two years- While writing this, feel like I am falling for him...again." , also at first I thought it was a work of fiction, then the author started talking about her actual dad ( Allah yerhamou) it was kind of confusing.
Now speaking of the story in the book, it was interesting, my favourite part is the 3rd chapter, you can sense the emotions, she did a good job describing her emotions and feelings.
Lastely, I am really proud of the author and putting herself and her story out there, to the public where anyone can judge you in a good or a bad way, I believe the author can do better, and I can't wait to read other novels by her.
I give you 3 stars for your book. Actually, before reading, I knew the actions that would happen from the beginning to the end, especially when you told us about falling in love with him and the sad ending. It felt like a typical Algerian relationship. Regarding your relationship with your teacher, it is filled with inappropriate details like kisses that should not happen before marriage. You lost many important things with a guy who didn't deserve you. I'm sorry about your sadness and the injuries to your heart. But I hope you have learned more about relationships and how to pick someone mature instead of a boy. However, I liked your dad's chapter. I'm so sorry for your loss. I was so sad about your tragedy. May Allah make you meet in Jannah.
--- Everything will be okay in the end. if it's not okay it's not the end.💙 I really love this quote.

Dear author thank you for sharing your story and your experiences with us , it requires a big amount of courage to speak about personal stuffs and expose the emotional details, but the journey was short I wanted more I wanted to know more , what comes after “what came after” ?! I know you are doing fine and strong and surely life goes on , I still fell something is missing after finishing the book . I want to say thank you for reminding me of the value of my dad and how precious his being is , I’m going to treasure this gift and be grateful .
Life is full of things... Love, loss, heartbreaks and laughter... Life is not about what came before, but about what came after. A typical story of a women who stand up to achieve her dreams and become as successful as she always dreamed to be. In this book, Manel Baiou, the writer narrate her story with the difficults moments and feelings that come across her and make her weak during a period of her life, but she also wrote in many sentences and paragraphs the story of her faith and the stong women she was to face the negatives side of her life.
This book made my heart chatter . At first i felt butterflies as crushing on someone then I related to the events until chapter 3 , this chapter where the author talked about their dad made me run to mine and hug him and I cried and wanted to comfort the author for her loss A book that makes you finish it in 4 hours is a masterpiece
