Adie's dreams of living a quasi normal life among humans has gone up in smoke. She's no longer the new succubus with dreams of owning a bakery. She's changed, and so has the world around her. Can she pick up the pieces and find a new path?
Pacific Northwest author L.L. Frost writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance with snarky characters and descriptive world-building. Whether she's writing a fast burn romance about witches, wolf shifters, and vampires, or teasing a slow burn romance while hunting demonic monsters, her passion is for character driven novels.
Growing up in a rainforest gave L.L. Frost plenty of time to daydream while spending cozy days under a blanket with her cats by her side. Sipping tea or chugging coffee, you can find her with a book or laptop in hand, imagining new worlds.
I've been eagerly awaiting the release of this installment and it did not disappoint. I'm never going to learn though. I'm always surprised when I roll up to the last page. This installment does end at an interesting moment but it's not as painful as some cliffs we have skidded up to in the past. Frankly we should be expecting it at this point. 😂 I'm loving the new dynamics with Addie and her guys. I love their banter, their pranks, their rapidly growing love. I especially love all the ways Addie challenges the norms of her class of demon and the demon world in general. L.L. Frost holds a black belt in character and world building and I will never be ready for this series to end.
Adie is back in (Un)Expected: Succubus Reborn the 44th installment in L.L. Frost's Succubus Harem series and the first book in her newest storyline thread. Adie is still thriving with her bakery business, but of course, things have changed at home. The guys are at home now since they are supposed to be dead. So running the bank is out of the question. Now, I was a bit surprised to learn they are still in the same place since I thought that they would have moved for the sake of "disappearing" but...no. This book has a lot of good moments. Things are really balancing out between the characters...overall. LOL! I loved having Tac and his whelps be a part of this book since I love them so much. Adie is still a bit juvenile, sorry not sorry she should have just owned the whole "hot chocolate" incident. Some familiar characters make an appearance, and things are really moving along. Now, this book has a cliffhanger that made my jaw drop when I couldn't read anymore! I needed more!!! LOL! So, I'm absolutely going to be chomping at the bit for the next book to learn what happens next. Remember, these series is put in short bites, so if you don't want to read little bites then just wait for the big collection that will come when this particular story arc is finished up. I say read them as they come, because...hey! They're fun to read and worth it, too! 5 out of 5 stars! Welcome back Adie and can't wait for more!
Adie and her supposed-to-be-dead Destruction Demons are settling into their new normal. A little redecorating, a little rebuilding, and a whole lot of rewarding. Lives are being restarted, promises are being kept, and plans are being realized. The bakery is booming and baby Adie has everything she dreamed of. But can it last?
You know I loved this episode of Boo-o-vision, although I'm not sold on the name. I do love Adie After Dark though! This had all my favorites, Tak and his whelps, my favorite new duo, Torch and Julian, and lots of Imps! And of course 3 sexy demons. Tobias ruled the night this episode. Then that ending. Enough, already. Something has to be done about this nasty. It's just a little too late...
Every month in waiting for the 5th to arrive so I can see what's happening in Addie Boo Ponds world. And I'm never disappointed. I love all of Addie's friends and her men are great. And all the twists and turns are fantastic. I'm so gutted when I've finished as I have to wait another month to find out what happening. Bring on April 5th. 🌟💓🌟💖🌟💓🌟💖🌟💓🌟💖🌟
WTF was with that ending!!?? Ugh I really dislike Cassandra and she needs to be exterminated. I absolutely love this series and I cannot wait to see what happens next!! P.S. I hope her nausea is because she's pregnant!!?? Been really wanting Addie to birth some destruction 😈 babies....😜😘
Ms Frost continues the delightful adventures of Adie and her demons. The writing is witty and clever. The characters keep growing deeper. This series is so much fun!
This is such a sweet and happy chapter in Adie’s life. Everything seems to be coming together (except the bathroom) - love, friends, business. But I swear, L. L. Frost is the queen of cliffhangers! Gaah!😫
Cassandra need to die lol I'm so over her she can't take a big fat no and trying to use all her connections smh or a least get boo to knock her out. And all the throwing up making me think she pregnant but impossible.
I think I love Tobias the most. He's so passionate but tries so hard to hide it. Emily takes my heart second because I feel he is so worried to be hurt and takes so much measure to hide his feelings.
One thing I can't understand is that why are they not showing more feelings towards her? It's like they joke, make fun, and so on, but after everything, they still seem cold.
