I retired eight years ago. When people ask me how I spend my time, I usually respond by saying that I keep physically and mentally active. Now I have a new description: I'm leading a tapas life, because that's what I have been doing. I've been surprised how many retirees are leading limited lives watching TV, following social media and sports, playing golf several times a week, etc. It was helpful to me to read how the author lives his life. He reinforced what I've been doing, and he gave me food for thought.
