I read an excerpt on Facebook and was intrigued, so I bit. I got the app that was required and read a few chapters, then was prompted to pay for more chapters to open. $9.99!!! I thought, “Okay, might be a short story, it can’t cost too much.” WRONG!! You get 1000 coins for $9.99, and I’m on a chapter in the 500s. I recently saw another “free” app where all of the chapters were listed and there are over 1800! So, that’s my gripe about the cost.
The story: it would be good if the translation was better and it wasn’t so “wordy”. There are a lot of descriptors used that are either unnecessary or don’t make sense in English. For the unnecessary parts, you can tell that the author is just doing it to make the story longer.
The story does have some intrigue, some twist and turns that you don’t see coming, but this is taking forever.
According to one app, the book is done at over 1800 chapters, but on Novel Sky the chapters are released 5 or so at a time, then you get a message that the author is working on it, and it takes about a day for the next set. Each chapter costs 13 coins, so at this point I’ve spent more on this chopped up story than on a hardback by one of my favorite authors. This makes me angry, because I hate to leave a story in the middle, but the cost to finish is crazy.
Start this one at your own risk. You’ve been warned.

Exceptionally interesting and involving story with twists and turns. But unfortunately the app doesn't have full story and stops halfway through with 566 chapters. That's the only reason for four star otherwise it is a total deal of suspense, thrill, romance and twists.

The names are different but it is so far free to read. I refuse to spend more than $20 on a book ever! And won't ever put money into book apps as they scam you into paying upwards of $50 for a subpar book with horrible translations.

This story was just so different.
It was at times hard to decipher what was really being said as the conversion to English lost some in the translation but I was seriously hooked from the very beginning

I absolutely LOOOOVE this book!! But im on chapter 617 and its say the author is trying to upload/ update. How u put out a book and make people wait? But I will say this...some of the wording is so wrong. They call a he a she n a she a he. The letter s is on stuff where it don't belong and the sentences are sometimes incomplete. U just gotta make since out of some of it yourself! But 4 the most part of it, so far I live the characters love!!
