Don't know, I can't explain, but this had something that just don't worked out for me, I can't put my finger on what, maybe the dialogues...
I loved all the three book, and if I have to rate the series, it will be a 4,5 stars (5 stars), so it's the kind of books I would recommend to those who like rough sex, kidnapping, and all the dark themes but a kind of soft dark.

description

The plot is amazing, all along the way, we're discovering new things and the situation gets more complicating, though there are signs what might be, but we only have certain when things developed.
Maybe what piss me was the things that are left in blanc.
For me, it was a cliffhanger, but since the series ended...
So, Darcy shouldn't give information that she didn't intend to use.

Bound was definitely my favourite book in the series. From the very first page of this series I was most fascinated my Declan as a character and I wanted to get inside his head, so I was looking forward to his perspectives A LOT! He has all these dark and conflicting thoughts inside his head and those really fascinated me. I also feel like he has the deepest emotions boiling inside him for Jessa and that these were just hidden beneath a very thick layer of revenge. I loved seeing him and Jessa interact. I loved how bold Jessa was when with him. How she lured him out of his shell. The methods she used made me a little scared to be honest, because let’s be honest that could have gone SO wrong. But in the end it was definitely worth it. I think it was a really nice conclusion to the trilogy and especially that last chapter did it for me. <3
All in all the entire series gets solid 4 stars from me and I would like to read more by that author in the future. :)

Had me on the edge of my seat so so good
Absolutely brilliant it was so good to see Jessa come into her own. And Declan he melted my heart I could totally understand where he was coming from but I am so so glad he finally saw was standing in front of him. But can Declan, Trey and Wes protect her from her father?
I’m not giving anything away because you seriously need to read the last part of this series and the epilogue blew me away I had a stupid grin on my face for hours just thinking about these four. I am so excited that I found Darcy Rose and I cannot wait to see what is coming next. There is a little teaser the end of this book and if I’m honest I would be extremely happy to read more books about these four. Absolutely brilliant

Sultry, entertaining read

Continues the story Jessa and Wes, Trey, and Declan as they become closer, developing trust and feelings for each other while seeking retribution on their broken past. This book was ultra steamy with a lot of hot and well-timed episodes as well as suspenseful and action-packed in the revenge / re-capture plot. Pace was perfect for, fast but fulfilling. Exciting conclusion to a great short with endearing characters.

Bound is the third installment in the Vow of Revenge series and is the conclusion  of Jessa, Declan, Wes and Trey. It starts right where the second book ended and we get to find out more secrets. There are also some other incidents which happen to the four of them, Declan finally gets a hold on his feelings and he starts to be nicer to Jessa, Jessa has some enlightening moments on her life.

It was a great conclusion on their story, with the right amount of sex, kink and suspense actions.

Jessa Richards and Declan, Wes & Trey Cameron.

The three books — Stolen, Captive, and Bound — are one story serialized, with no breaks in the plotline. (Note: I didn’t bother to restrict tags to the book where they appear since it’s one story.)

***

The sheltered daughter of a very bad man is abducted by three brothers who have vowed revenge on him for the death of their parents and sister.

Jessa is a complication they didn’t expect, having broken into Jonathan Richards’ home to obtain a thumb drive during a time he and his daughter were supposed to be at a charity event. They are left with two choices, kill her or take her with them.

Trey and Wes vote for abduction and a little sadistic sex play, overriding Declan’s desire to kill her quickly. Trey has already gotten handsy enough to realize that she may be scared, but his rough advances aren’t entirely unwelcome.

When they get Jessa back to their well fortified home, an abandoned hospital, they throw her in a room with a dirty mattress, set up cameras, and tape themselves threatening to rape and kill her if Richards doesn’t give them the thumb drive. Their rough treatment confuses and frightens Tessa, but doesn’t fail to arouse her.

Having not set up anything to hold a prisoner, she ends up sandwiched between Trey and Wes in their bed. In the morning, they play.

***

The brothers share, including a 4-way, but no m/m action. There may be moments that hit noncon, but overall, I’d label it dubcon. Wes and Trey grow fond of Tessa fairly quickly. Declan is a harder nut to crack.

Trey is the flirter. Wes the softie, he bends to Jessa’s will. And me, I’m the protector. I protect her, against everyone and everything, but myself and my brothers.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Jessa is/was extremely sheltered from homeschooling to everything being controlled by her dad who took everything from the sexy brothers Declan, Wes and Trey so they decided to take Jessa for revenge purposes so question is will they get their revenge or will it be something entirely different and is their happiness there for them despite what brought them together that was book one now this one well lets say the boys are questioning their reasoning for even taking her well Wes and Trey and Declan is working all my nerves because he is so focused on his pain he can't see past to realize he, his brothers and her father are one and the same hurting innocent people to achieve what is the question can't wait for the third book...hopefully it is the conclusion can't wait ....well ....well...well what an ending all three of these books are worth it at first I was upset with all three of them for being just like her father if not worse but they redeemed themselves and her and lets just say she had father of the year ....NOT one of the most vile individuals but does he get what he deserves and can the boys and their captive finally get their revenge and is there a HEA for them?

3.5 stars - The End... or is it?

POV: multiple
HUMOR: no
F BOMBS: yes
CLIFFHANGER: no
NEW AUTHOR FOR ME: no
TRIGGERS: yes

This is book/part 3 of 3; it continues where book/part 2 left off. Books must be read in order.

Although this one is much darker, more violence/gore, and knife play, it also opens up more to Declan's thoughts and feelings about Jessa, has more steamy scenes, and lots of dirty talk (some may feel is degrading, but not Jessa).

A few things are anticlimactic: meeting her father in person to ask him important questions, and the USB drive they were after from the beginning. But there are also some twists and unexpected events.

Though it appears that this book concludes the 3-part book trilogy (since there's an epilogue), I'm confused as to why this was published as 3 books instead of one. There are loose ends which were not tied up, and some new ones brought up in the epilogue, so perhaps there will be a book 4? or a bonus novella?

I am writing my review for Captive and Bound as one :)
Absolutely loved this trilogy! By far one of my favorite. These books are RH dark romance, short stories.

Declan, Trey and Wes—three brothers—kidnap Jessa as revenge against her father. They wanted her blood, what they got instead... they weren’t prepared for. Things don’t always turn out as we plan. This story is a sure sign of that.

The chemistry the brothers and Jessa share is so rare and beautiful. I have to say, Declan is my favorite. They are all alphas but he’s the true protector of them all. I was dying for his POV so, I was so excited when I opened Bound.

I was on my toes throughout almost the entire third book in the trilogy. I couldn’t read fast enough. I was not expecting the ending at all! I did not want the story to end.

The sex scenes were so descriptive. Loved it! Had to fan myself off quite a few times. They were beyond HOT!

If you are into RH/DR I highly suggest this trilogy. You won’t be disappointed. Darcy Rose is an amazing author and her writing pulls you right in from the beginning!

Our heroine may be a pawn in our heroes' revenge plot, but pawns can get promoted to much more powerful roles.

This is book three of a trilogy, so don't start here.

This is a short erotic story with a dark ménage theme. The story is well written and easy to read with a fairly straightforward plot that is nonetheless very engaging. While this is, nominally, a revenge plot, the main story focuses on our heroine and her relationship, such as it is, with her captors. The story is kind of dark at times, but there is also more to it, as well as plenty of steam. This is the conclusion of our story and it does a nice job of wrapping things up. Overall, this has been a very enjoyable story and I look forward to more from this author.

Highly recommended.

The story picks back up where the second book ended with Jessa shooting her father's henchman to protect Declan. This ends up causing a tiny rift for a short time because she didn't follow his initial instructions and that upset him.

However, Declan finally realized that he didn't actually want to kill Jessa (like he kept suggesting in the first 2 books). I love that they are all able to come together and confess their love and protection for each other.

I know it's a short story but I wish we could have gotten more on her stupid dad and his interrogation and death. I also wish there was more in the epilogue.

Overall though, it was a great ending to their story and as always, steamy scenes.

Holy Effing Hell I just finished this book and my mind is still whirling. There was so much that happened in this story that I don't know where to begin without giving it away. So I will start off with Jessa getting used to where she is. Yes she was kidnapped but her kidnappers have become more to her and she is confused because she has feelings for her kidnappers.

Then shizz hits the fan and Jessa will learn that her kidnappers are hiding something from her and when she finds out she is pissed and confused because she can't believe what is happening to her. This ending was perfect. We got to see what happens to the kidnappers as well as Jessa. This is a must read series that will have you blown away!

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the final book to the trilogy between Jessa, Declan, Wes and Trey. What a long way Declan has come since the first book. This book is darker in some ways but definitely still has twists and turns to it. More feelings and trust have come about between her and the men. After all that they have survived, a future together is the only answer. The book is full of more danger, drama, suspense, lust, revenge and love.

All it took was a dangerous situation for Jessa to realize that she has evolved from wanting to escape to wanting to stay. Declan, the one brother who wasn’t about to be taken in by her appeal, has not only had a change of mind but he has become her biggest protector.

Each of the brothers bring something special and unique to their relationship which is what makes what they have so special and so hot however their need for vengeance still remains. As the surprises and secrets are revealed they will have to work as a team to escape with their lives and each other.

Bound is messy and raw in the best way possible. It covers so much ground for a short book. There's suspense, betrayal, deliciously dark scenes and the best ending anyone could ask for. In my opinion it was the most suspenseful of the three books. The characters are so good. Declan made me want to strangle him but he really won me over and I think became my favorite over Wes and Trey. Jessa is one tough woman but it takes a strong woman to handle those three men. The four of them are perfect together.

Saving the best for last, we get Declan's story in the final book. This book is much darker and grittier than the first two as Declan is a such a tortured soul and definitely the dominant in the series. As secrets are revealed we see emotions and loyalties shift. When plans goes haywire Declan has to make a decision about his feelings towards Jessa and what the next step will be in the revenge against her father. Well written epilogue, great read.

This is the conclusion to Vow of Revenge, a fantastic seamless interface piece of writing, not boring or confusing, it’s dark, gritty, violent and dammed hot hot hot, these men will have you on your knees, and most definitely get into your heart. I honestly didn’t want this trilogy to end as I got sucked in right from the start. It’s an absolutely must read, one that won’t disappoint you. I was given this as an ARC by the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I was totally happy to provide.

WOW, what a great read. The Cameron Brothers, Declan, Wes, and Trey finally get their revenge with the help of the women they have all fallen in love with Jessa. Yes, there is a dark under tone to this trilogy and yes, the steam factor is through the roof. I loved their HEA and how we know all the brothers are equally besotted with Jessa. But this doesn't feel at all like the ending to me. We need to know more about Harrold's quest! Please tell me there is more to this story!

The ending we've all been waiting for was delivered. This book as was the last two was a steamy read filled with characters with extreme chemistry, suspense and lots of action and ends with a good happily ever after. Jessa, Declan, Wes and Trey can all find peace, they have come so far and lost so much and now its time for their story to end. If you have read the first two books: (Stolen and Captive) you need no more explanation or details other then you need to finish what you started.

Bound is book three and the conclusion to the series and what was to be fast paced, action packed, suspensefilled with danger lurking around every corner. Where secrets and lies were revealed along with more raw gritty intense sex and realizations of feelings are coming into play. You will be on the edge of your seat anxiously waiting to see what happens next.

I received an ARC from the author for my honest review.

Bound picks up where Captive left off. This is the finale of Declan, Wes, Trey and and Jessa. These four have had a turbulent time. Watch what happens when truths are exposed. What started as a kidnapping and revenge may turn into something more. These four have an undeniable connection and some insanely hot chemistry. There are some shocking twists and I was snagged from the very beginning. You need to read this whole trilogy. You won’t be disappointed.

Gripping Conclusion!

Dark, thrilling and utterly delicious conclusion to this trilogy. It’s fast paced, filled with hot AF sexy scenes and lots of emotional drama.

Jessa and her men have found their truce and are finally able to come to terms with all the demons in their lives.

The story kept me on the edge of my seat throughout and left me with more questions after that unexpected ending. Will there be another trilogy in the works??? I freaking hope so!!!

Loved it.

This got darker quickly but it’s so so good. Jessa and the guys finally get what they want but we also get some new mysteries. It's intense and so so sexy that I couldn't put this down. I was on the edge of my seat reading this and then I get to the epilogue and I still have my mouth wide open and left with some more questions.

This book tried to be something it wasn’t. I wanted to dnf at 15% but decided to keep going. Nothing makes any sense. The way it tried to make the whole situation okay. I’m not even sure about the passage of time, it seems she has only been with them a week. They live in an abandoned hospital? I don’t get any of the things they do, and what are the brothers ages? They are ex military who are after her dad because he had their family slaughtered? Why? If you know you have a bounty on your head, why would they go in public with her? Why not just order your supplies online especially since this world has Amazon and kindle that they have ordered from before? Why not try to disguise her? How do the bad guys follow them every time? Just didn’t like this book. I’m assuming it was also attempting to add another series with her searching for her real father.

I also realize I hate when books say “I could feel his trust in his eyes as it suffocated me in the air” I guess it’s supposed to sound poetic but it just seems dumb, you’ve known these men 1 day and now you trust them because you can sense their honestly and their feelings by looking in their eyes? I would give it 1 star but the writing itself wasn’t bad, just a plot that makes no sense and a forced and rushed storyline.

Once again, I hate that I made myself finish this book
