I had it all.
At least I thought I did. Kickass job in one of the biggest media companies in New York. A hot fiancé who looks just like Clark Kent, glasses and all. I saw this book today on one of my Facebook groups and needed a small break from arcs and seemed like something outside my normal. They’re some dark undertones. Which I would say is light gray. But for the most part, it was refreshing.

Our female protagonist Brooklyn has five different multiple personalities; and what is a girl to do when her Clark Kent ends up being a turd.? Well, you take a vacation and go to California sooner than expected for your brother's wedding. She meets the most handsome man and falls into his arms, I should say his bed. He should be the last person to be with. But hey forbidden fruit is always divine. But one addict knows another addict when you see one.

Justin is just surviving and going through the motions of his life after his marriage blew up until the world win of a woman enters his life, named Brooklyn. She knocks him off his socks and never saw her coming. These two together are scorching hot.

The story has a whole bunch of gray. Have I ever told you I love gray? If you're looking for black or white, or anything safe. This is not for you and that is okay.

I love Brooklyn as she is very quirky, confident, and loyal to her family, to a fault. The book does shine the light on different types of mental Heath. So glad I picked this book up today and am now waiting for Chaz’s book. I absolutely love him.

Extra is so different

This is Brooklyn's story from the Working Girls Series and I must say I absolutely love her 5 different personalities. CY Jones brought light to some mental disabilities, but in a way that showcases how strong a person can be no matter what. She also shed light on some sexual abuse in a relationship. Brooklyn thought she had it all, the dream job and the dream guy in New York. Her dream guy took her dream job, and changed but not for the better. She runs to California and meets Justin at her brother and Paige's wedding and he seems to be the only one who can tame her and her personalities. Once she returns to New York, her life isn't the same happy one it was before. Can her bestie Chaz help? Will she lose the only person she really loves? Can she make her ex see reason? This book was so Extra, but so good.

First off, this book is much darker then Ms Jones's usual fare. If you have triggers, be warned. It delves into some heavy issues. Brooklyn's story is haunting. A betrayal, a breakup. The one bright spot is Justin. The two of them are near perfect for one another. It's when Brooklyn tries to return to her life, that everything goes to hell. She is one tough cookie though. Throughout the book, she keeps it together, better then I ever could had I been in her shoes. I really wasn't sure I could root for Justin, having met him in the previous book. However, he won my heart and had me cheering him on. And Chaz. I need that boy's story now. He is such a well written character. His personality shines and almost overpowers the other characters. I was so glad he showed up and adopted Brooklyn. Overall another great read from Ms Jones!

Um Wow, this was a crazy intense and hot as sin as well. So this book touches a few things in here. Lets say that I think it is a struggle everyone goes through daily. Well except being a sex addict, that is all Justin. LOL. So as you know who Justin is and now we meet Brooklyn which happens to be Harrisons sister. Now Brooklyn is a great person but she seriously has multiple personalities. Some of the conversations she has are pretty funny but also intense. However, the girl is too independent and is afraid to ask for help. You would think that with all her personalities she would be able to keep herself out of trouble. Well she does try and finds out more stuff than she should n0w. Friendships are forged and finding the love her life. So how will all this play out. You definitely need to read this. You will highly enjoy it.

Omg cy jones has done it again. This is such a great story I read it through in a couple hrs. Brooklyn is a smart badass woman that has everything she could want a great fiancé ,a great promising career that she has worked hard for. When her career doesn’t go where she planned and her fiancé doesn’t stand up for her she reevaluates her choices and calls off the engagement. While at her brothers wedding she meets the brides ex and they hit it off. When she goes back home she is blackmailed into becoming engaged to her ex. Along with her 5 personalities and her best friend chaz she gets even and wins her life back. This is a must read.

This story is darker than usual for this author and she writes about it very well. It contains trigger issues, rape abuse and addiction.
Brooklyn has 5 personalities, all who interact well with each other and also suffers briefly with depression.
She is an investigative journalist who is on top of the world when she is betrayed by her fiancé. She run off to her brother Harrison and his fiancé Paige ( book 1 in the series) and meets Justin at their wedding reception. Of course there are trials and tribulations, with the help of her bestie Chaz, Brooklyn will hopefully get her HEA. I really enjoyed this story

TRIGGER WARNING RAPE, SEX ADDITIONS, AND MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER

Well this book was interesting to say the least. It made my head spin but not in the way I was expecting. J was expecting more from Brooklyn and her badass personalities she was more hot and cold then a Katy Perry song. Thank goodness for Chaz and his magic or it would have been a faint dating flop.

Brooklyn story was heart breaking and inspiring. She battled with mental illness that has her talking to five people in her head. Justin was an addict that made mistakes. Their love story is not easy but full of turns. Brooklyn’s ex puts her though lots of challenges and in his own way tries to shield her but it doesn’t work. Will Brooklyn overcome her battles and be in love with Justin? Will it all come crumbling down?

Brilliant read. This book touches on some darker subjects so be careful of any triggers.
Brooklyn thought life was taking her and her personalities in the right direction, but of course life royally screws her over. But hey shes a big girl and she goes to her brothers wedding anyway. But returning back to her life leads her down a dark path with no escape route in sight.

An amazing ride

This book is no.2 but is amazing in it's own right. The story grabs and holds, a good amount of visits from book 1 and after book one, Justin gets his HEA. But to be honest, Chaz is the real hero and I'm so pleased he gets his own story and really looking forward to it.

Absolutely amazing book there are some triggers in this so be warned. While this book is hot as sin it's also really deep and deals with mental health which not very many people like to talk about or shine light on. I love Brooke as a character she is strong, hard working, and her different personalities make her unique. I love this book and definitely recommend it.

This book will keep you on your toes. The author deals with triggering subjects with sensitivity, and doesn't shy away from difficult subject matter. I like that both the FMC and her love are both dealing with demons and have to work through them to make things work.

Extra Extra wasn’t what I was expecting, but most of the best things aren’t. CY Jones wrote scenes that truly made me feel, whether uncomfortable, heartbreaking or loving she brought them to life.

This book is dark. It's not for the faint of heart or those with triggers, but it does have a happy ending. Definitely well worth the read.

This book was absolutely amazing poor B and her personalities I’ve been through so much. Drew is still an asshole bitch for what he pulled when she got back NYC but who knew he was the less Psycho with a bunch because he was absolutely horrible but his dad In the Nathaniel take the cake. If you want more you gotta read the book .
