Redemption and getting the Blind beauty.
Felix isn't a bad guy, but it he did some questionable things in the last book. Koda is an angel.
Many of Charity Parkerson's main characters seem to fall in love out of the blue. I suppose that's the point, bringing unsuspecting people together and making it work no matter what. That is the point of romance with a HEA. Another thing this author excels at is the inventive out of the blue drama.
Here, what happened was a kick to the stomach. Never saw that coming. A great manipulation of our senses that I would normally love but here our main characters already felt too good to be true so chapter 9 felt a little forced.
But still I cannot deny I enjoyed it and a tear may or may not have leaked🥺😢😥🥲

A wonderful M/M romance in a novella !
A big Italian family gathering, so Felix can meet Koda's Mom and relatives, and relax a bit. They 'd know each other for years, but are finally, truly noticing the other.
Felix, 39, is fully tattooed,
blue eyed and brown haired, a record producer, divorced and bi.
Koda, mid 20s, green-eyed,
dark hair and fit, is a singer who was blinded at ten yrs. old.
On the first date, Felix made a mistake, but the second date was awesome.
It is a fast paced romance, no doubt, but completely satisfying in all ways. Every progressive move is terrific, as we watch the love and bond grow deeper. Their happiness is full and expressive, and later, a shock of news. Be ready with tissues, because I cried so hard, my tears blurred the pages.
The last parts are full of promise and future.

He is doing what he loves but his life is not perfect as he is so fiercely independent that it has separated him from the chance to find love and so he needs help if he hopes to learn how to let people in. Luckily, he knows just who can help. Record Producer Felix levelled his life over a year ago and artists have severed their contracts with him so he has too much time on his hands. The only light in his day is Koda. Despite losing his sight at a young age, Koda has let nothing stop him. He’s upbeat and successful, and he’s driving Felix insane with longing. When Koda asks Felix for a crazy favour, Felix sees his chance to finally have the man in his bed. Unfortunately, no one warned Felix he wouldn’t want to leave or that they’ve both been blind in more ways than one.
I really enjoyed this story which was carefully written to put the reader into the same world as both characters - particularly Koda and his disability. I loved the way that they were good friends but had obviously never gone past that barrier together until now. This was an emotional story which was easy to read, feel and empathise with. This is an MM story with mature content.

This is what soulmates are about!
Short read, but all the feels are there! Koda and Felix were friends first, but became lovers when the time was right. Interesting side characters for future stories.

Beautifully Blind is book fourteen in the Candied Crush series
Felix getting a happy ending was a good redemption arc. A different perspective is all it takes to see there is more to it than surface level.

This book broke my heart. I loved how they become fathers even though it is so so sad. Just an amazing book where someone I thought was a villain is redeemed.

S. Did not expect the baby at all. Koda needing Felix to be his clingy, chasing self was great. I just wish it showed a scene that depicted him having to chase Koda
