As they make their way into the Realm, Averie and Silas find themselves in a race against time as they strive to remain undetected in their rush to meet up with the Rebellion. Along the way, they meet a surprising new ally with alluring secrets and deadly motives of his own and come face to face with the ultimate enemy. As Averie struggles to find her place and adapt to the world around her, training takes on a whole new meaning when Callen takes over as her trainer. Using unconventional methods, he forces her to deal with the past and accept what she cannot change. While Silas fights to keep his past from colliding with his present, his lies draw the unwanted attention of an old friend. When everyone Averie cares about is threatened, she is forced to the frontlines, whether she is ready for it or not.
C.R. Rice enjoys spending her days with her family in sunny Florida, where the sun is always shining and the alligators are only slightly terrifying. After receiving a loving shove from her husband, she decided to take a step into the wonderful world of authordom with her first series in the Realm. When she is not writing she is reading, going on adventures with her rather daring four year old son and husband, or lazing about in the pool.
The second book in The Realm Young Adult fantasy series. Anger was a book I was dying to read. I read Denial, the first book, and Loved C.R Rice's vivid world building and her characters that felt so real. I went into this book with high expectations. I couldn't wait to rejoin Averie and Silas on their journey into the Realm. I felt like I hadn't been away. The plot was again another intriguing and immmersive one. I was right with Averie as she struggled to find her own place in the world. Then Callen becomes her trainer, and we see her having to deal with things she would prefer not to. I again loved returning to these characters, and before I knew it, I was reaching the end. Yet another ending that really makes you want to book three immediately! C.R. Rice writes a young adult story that can be enjoyed by readers of all ages. Take my word for it! Thanks to Stephanie Rabell and C.R. Rice for the gifted book in exchange for my honest review.
An amazing job in a emotional world building and character development spun alongside unique and intricate characters. This is a must read for fantasy lovers! Rice leaves you wanting more with her poetic style of writing. LOVE IT!
I was given the honor of reading this book before it’s recent release and I’m thankful for the opportunity. This beautifully written book follows Averie as she continues her journey to help restore The Realm and return it to her people. This book is masterfully written and the world building within its word is done flawlessly. I commend C.R. Rice on her writing style and the way she brings you right along the journey of the main characters. This book is the second in The Realm Series and you will not be disappointed reading it in its entirety.
Anger is the second book in The Realm Series, and you can read Anger as a stand-alone. I really enjoyed this book and absolutely loved getting to know the characters.
The world building and writing style is simply brilliant. Seeing Averie's character development was very enjoyable. I felt the pace of the story got a little faster when Snip's character was introduced and loved the banter between Silas and Snip.
With a beautifully created world and eloquent descriptive writing, I highly recommend Anger and The Realm Series. The story ended with a cliffhanger, so I can not wait for the next book.
This is a second book in a series .It can be read as a stand alone .I enjoyed the characters in the book even though it took me a bit to figure them out due to not reading the first one .I believe one gets better insight if you read the first book .This was a new to me author and I loved the writing style. It was a fast paced read and leaves you hanging on the end.I was given this book in an exchange for an honest review.
Avi and Silas make it to the other Realm and did so with a bang! They will see some of the survivors with Thane, Callen, Radnar, and others. Avi will learn the hard way she must change and grow up to be able to do what is needed. The choices and trials will be hard on her mentally and physically. When they are attacked tragedy strikes in more ways than one. She is done doubting herself…she wants action! She wants to go on the attack! New recruits will show that have not been seen in a while. A surprise will occur at the end…what a twist it is! Will she be able to win the battle to come in the second part of the journey? At what cost to who? Another fascinating action-packed book gearing toward the final war! I absolutely love how realistic the reactions and words are for people of their ages, experiences, and maturity. The situations she puts them in and how they grow and mature into themselves. This is definitely a must read for your collections.
Anger in the YA Fantasy Realm Series is an exhilarating ride from start to finish. I've thoroughly enjoyed the unfolding drama with the characters, the seamless flow of events, and the engaging writing style. As Averie and Silas navigate the challenges of the Realm, they find themselves in a gripping race against time to join the Rebellion while staying undetected. This installment keeps the stakes high and the tension palpable, making it a must-read for fans of the series!

this had everything that I enjoyed from the first book, it had everything that I was looking for based on the first book. The characters felt like they were supposed to and worked with the world that was created from the first book. It had a great overall feel to the book and worked in this world. CR Rice has a great writing style and I enjoyed this world.

Series continues to be a good read for YA and older. Averie an Silas is still fighting and trying to meet up with others. Callen starts to train her to be better no matter what it takes. Can Averie learn to accept what she needs to do? Can they win this battle? Silas is hiding more than they know, will it come to bite him?.

I read this after reading Denial a while back and I have to say, I think you can read this without reading the first.
The way C.R. recaps was really nice, but I really enjoyed getting into the actual Realm and thought Averie's 'entrance' was pretty funny... or at least Callen's reaction to it. There is some heartbreak in this one which I feel is turning into a theme. However the author does a great job at making sure there is a reason for it, to move the story along, instead of just devestating you for no reason.
Onto the next!.
