I seriously freaking LOVED this book! Clover and Marshall’s sexy, hilarious, emotional, and swoon-worthy love story was absolutely brilliant and completely exceeded all of my expectations and more! They have some of the funniest banter, but some of the most heartfelt moments as well.
The storyline was stellar and definitely took me by surprise—in a good way. The plot was perfection and kept me addicted and entertained throughout with some twists and turns along the way. The chemistry between Clover and Marshall was through the roof, and at times it felt a lot more like hate than love. They could push each other’s buttons perfectly, knowing exactly how to wind the other up to reach boiling point. But when they actually opened up and began to let each other in, it was so clear how they were meant to be. The emotional journey these two will take you on is ever so slightly angsty, exhilarating and ultimately very rewarding. There are some very deep emotions that really balance out the humour and make this book a much more thoughtful experience. The slow burn, push and pull between these two had me devouring the pages. Their banter had me laughing out loud and smiling like a loon. The emotion between them just leapt off the page.
Hooked is feel good romance with just the right amount of heartfelt emotion and humour. I laughed so hard at so much of it but I was also so consumed with these multidimensional characters and the many layers that made them who they are. I enjoyed seeing the growth as their journey unfolded and I rooted for their happy even in times of tension. The story is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of everything. It's hilarious and witty and frustrating. It's crazy sexy and a whole lot of surprising. As a whole this book is so well rounded. The plot progression is everything. I was completely consumed from page one with the characters demanding my attention. It's seamlessly written and I felt every emotion that the characters felt and it’s also really relatable in so many ways. This book was an absolute delight to read, and the dynamics between the characters kept me utterly entertained. Without a doubt Marshall and Clover are a top Jacob Chance couple for me! A truly wonderful addition to this series.

Loved Marshall and Clover!! I’m really into these friends-siblings romance.
Marshall is Clover’s best friend Maddie’s older brother. She’s always had a crush on him but he’s obviously off limits. It doesn’t help that he’s very likable and doesn’t seem to turn away the ladies.
Marshall’s always been attracted to Clover but he made sure to stay away. He knows love isn’t for him so there’s no point with even trying with his younger sister’s best friend.
One incident during the summer changes everything. We see how compatible these two are. The chemistry between them is flammable. The back and forth is natural and hilarious. And when they finally come together it was everything they both didn’t know they wanted and needed.
Marshall, for someone who doesn’t believe in relationships was very good in the romance and swooning department. Once he realizes that Clover is what he wants and got over some of the things holding him back from having a relationship he was all in. Clover was in for a surprise, she knew Marshall is charming but she didn’t know how much and how persistent he was.
This book has all the things I love in a feel good romance. From the hilarious laugh out loud moments to the heartfelt emotions to the sexy scenes and to the lovable side characters (some from previous books, like sexy Wilde Man Clancy 😉).

Absolutely loved this book! The bantering between Marshall an clover is off the charts an so dang funny!! Their chemistry is Undeniable! I loved the corncob comment!! Hilarious!! Not to mention the lightswitch he had made of himself an his joystick being the switch!! Just priceless!!this is an absolute must read!! You knocked it out of the park jacob!!

I’m Hooked (you see what I did there) on Marshall and Clover’s story!! These two have had a love/hate relationship with a hidden crush on each other for years and when they finally get together, boy do those sparks fly. This unlikely couple are a wonderful match made in heaven and their chemistry and connection is on point.
I loved this fun, light hearted and hilarious sports romance and the fact that my favorite Boston Terrier, Clancy made a cameo appearance made it even better. I needed a feel good, laugh out loud book in my life and Hooked certainly did it for me. I also adored how creative Marshall was when it came to wooing Clover. He’s a irresistible, swoon worthy charmer for sure. Hooked can be read as a stand-alone and I definitely recommend grabbing it!

After an intense and scary moment Marshall decides he’s tired of playing it safe with Clover and takes things into his own hands! Finally seeing a softer side to him Clover shares a romantic trip with Marshall only for the real world to come crashing in! Now Marshall has to prove he is just the man that Clover needs and no one will love her like he does.
Marshall is a sweet, carrying alpha male who will have you swooning with each page! He’s hilarious but is serious when he needs to be! Clover challenges him in a way that excites him and scares him! She’s a strong, independent female who isn’t going to take less than what she deserves! I love how sassy and strong Chance’s heroine are! He really writes some amazing characters and I am always thrilled for any release of his.

Clover spends her time avoiding Hockey player Marshall Winters due to him upsetting her 4 years ago however its awkward due to her best friend is Marshall's little sister.
Events take place for Clover which leaves her in a dangerous position and none other than Marshall comes to her rescue.
This story was entertaining to say the least.. Clover and Marshall have fantastic chemistry and are a lot of fun together but like any good story there's a curveball thrown in. We get to see some of our other favourite characters from the Boston Terrier series which is always welcome.
The writing flowed fluidly and during these strange times it was escapism at its best. Hooked was like a written vortex that had me sucked in swooning and smiling. 5 stars are well deserved. There's a little song in the book and I had the tune stuck in my head all day. Kudos to the author for creating a great book that you can escape to another world. I loved the ending and I'm looking forward to revisiting Marshall and Clover in an epilogue..

I simply love this series. Jacob Chance is a master of type of storytelling. We are back with the kids from Boston University, and I missed them!
Clover has had feelings for Marshall for years, what she didn’t know was that those feelings were reciprocated. Take this journey with these two you will be better for it.
This story has everything you will need there’s emotion, a little drama and plenty of steam, plus we get to spend time with some of our old friends. This is a stand alone story but take it from me you will want to go back and read them all ! Jacob’s books are just that good!

Clover and Marshall
This is book 4 in the Boston Territories series but you can read it as a stand alone. It I would read all of the books so know all the people. This is about Marshall Winters who plays College hockey is a playboy but has a secret crush on his sisters best friend. He won’t act on it especially after he was so angry at his best friend Shaw for dating his sister. The problem Clover is alway around now. They have a ton of attraction and chemistry. But they both act like they don’t like each other. Maddie’s dad gets offered a beach house so the girls go for a getaway . clover meets a guy. Mean while Shaw and Marshall decide to crash the girls. Drama happens with Kent and Clover is saved by Marshall. He then decided now is the time to take her away to his family cabin and tell her how he has always felt. The two have a steamy passionate couple of days. Then they go back to campus and have some more twist and turns as Marshall past insecurities catch up to him and he needs to make up for it and prove what he really wants. I loved the connection between the siblings which Blocked book 3 is Shaws story with Maddie ( also not part of this series but Mantrun and Manfax are also relatives of these two as Rex winter and Adam Winters.) I really can’t wait for Piper and Donovan story.

Marshall Winters is a hockey star and known playboy, who’s secretly had a crush on Clover (aka Lucky) for a long time. Although, he’s anti-commitment he would do anything for her. When the opportunity arises, he will stop at nothing to show her how he truly feels about her.
“The sun never shone brighter than when you were in my arms.”
This was a 5 star slap shot!!! Get ready to swoon! You will fall in love with Marshall and Clover. Their banter, chemistry and sexiness will have you wanting for more. You can’t help but cheer on these two! Jacob Chance scored another goal with this book. Loved every minute of it!

Another phenomenal story in the Boston Terriers series from Jacob Chance. This one has Marshall and Clover which have been concealing there feelings for a long time. He’s a total player and she is his sisters best friend. Of course fate wins out and when they get together it’s explosive.
But when Marshall totally blows it , he will do whatever it takes to win her back. He’s so sweet and thoughtful and she makes him work for it . That’s why Clover is awesome. There story is amazing and I truly loved it. I also have to mention how adorable Shaw is when he sings karioke.

I am hooked!
I had been impatiently waiting for this book and I finally read it. Of course Jacob didn’t disappoint. I love how each book is different, and love the way he develops the relationships between the characters in his books. I am always afraid when reading a series because sometimes all the books seem to be the same. Don’t have to worry about that with this one. Looking forward to reading whatever he writes next. Thanks Jacob, always a pleasure.

Be still my heart
Oh those Winter genes. Cocky, hothole manwhore with a romantic bone so big(that's what she said) its hard not to go gaga. Marshall is so sweet and swoony with Clover 🍀. I loved their banter and the chemistry was sizzling. I loved that she made him work for it and didn't fawn all over him too quickly. Hes an amazing gift giver as well. So genuine and unique and thoughtful. They were so cute together. Cant wait for their epilogue.

Marshall is great
3.5 Stars. I am enamored by this series, and always am happy to revisit some of my favorite characters (I'm looking at you, Clancy). Marshall was no exception. Sweet, cocky, and learning how to be an adult. I kept wondering, at times, if I'd stumbled into a high school romance with the female characters. Clover had promise as I like the sister's best friend trope, but she read childish for me. If she were sixteen, I'd roll my eyes at her "make him jump through hoops until I know he is sorry" behavior. In her twenties, it was grating.
Chance writes chemistry, male characters, and the college experience really well. I came for the romance, but stayed for the dynamic between Marshall and his friends. Looking forward to what the author creates next.

Hooked will have you ‘hooked’ from the very first page! It is hot, fun, and flirty with the absolute best banter. Clover is so quick witted she keeps up with Marshall’s humorous tendencies while putting him in his place. Watching these two both immerse themselves into off limits uncharted territory was the cutest! Marshall’s hidden adoration for Clover makes him so swoony you can’t help but fall in love. Hooked is definitely a 5 star must read you’ll be thinking about days after it’s ended!

Great read, as usual!
I loved Marshall and Clover’s story, so sweet to see them come together finally. Can’t wait to see their extended epilogue in the newsletter. It was great to see more of a Maddie and Shaw and, of course, everyone’s favourite Terrier, Buddy! Another great read from Jacob, as if we would expect anything less.

Loved it!
Jacob, once again, you nailed it! Marshall and Clover were funny, down to earth and a joy to read! I will admit, that I wasn't a fan of Marshall going in because of previous books, but all that changed in the first chapter and I was rooting for him throughout the story. Truly fantastic!

Best story
I absolutely adored this story especially the chemistry of the two character. I will never look at an ear of corn or dog treats again without bursting into laughter and remembering Hooked! I'm looking forward to the bonus scene.

Love love loved it!
I have been dying to read Marshall's story for what seems like forever, and it was so much more than I hoped for! His protectiveness of Clover & their connection is such a fun thing to witness! Definitely all 5 stars!

Fun, quick, sweet read
Another great story following the Boston Terrier gang. I loved Clover and Marshall’s story. It seemed more realistic to young relationships. Clover was a strong female who knew how to knock Marshall’s ego down to size. It had just the right amount of intimate moments (just trying to keep Amazon on my friendly side) those scenes were hot! I won’t be able to sit on my covered hammock swing without that vision. Great ending to a sweet story. Perfect book for a cold Sunday lazy day. Highly recommend you read the whole series. But, it can be read without reading the others. But, then you would miss out on Shaw and Maddie’s story and that would be a shame.

There were laugh out loud moments, I had to stifle a giggle and swooned over the thoughtfulness.

Way to go Jacob Chance with yet another 5* Boston Terriers masterpiece!
I have enjoyed every book so far in the the Boston Terriers Hockey series and who wouldn’t! They have all held their own brand of swoon worthy college hockey players and topping them all has to be Marshall brother of Maddie who we meet in her own story with none other than Marshall’s best friend and teammate Shaw. So I suppose it is only fitting that the tables are turned as Clover - Maddie's best friend is the girl that has always been hooked on Marshall!
The two have know each other for years and well secretly each I think have been crushing on each other since childhood but 4 years ago they shared a moment but Marshall drew back at the last minute letting what happened to his parents marriage mess with his head thus leaving I think both burying feelings for each other.
Now the two are thrown together and those feelings that were kept hidden surface and just as Clover thinks they are are finally on the same page It all comes crushing down as once again Marshalls insecurities surface. But once Marshall get's his head out of where the sun doesn't shine he really brings out his swoon worthiness I loved the ‘You are my Sunshine Box’ and wow never knew you could do that with napkins.
A really enjoyable great story and just as a side note I would love Clover's dad to get his own story!

I didn't stop reading until it was over, and I am just longing for more. Who needs to sleep, right?

Oh how I loved this book! Marshall & Clover are great together, even when they weren't together. Their chemistry, banter & love story is everything I look for in romance.
Clover is amazing. She's loyal and strong with a personality that you can't help but love. Her comebacks and quick wit had me laughing throughout the book. Marshall is just a big teddy bear that has finally allowed himself to love someone, and he loves Clover with all he has.
This story flowed at a pace that I couldn't put this book down. I couldn't wait to see what antics Marshall would use to try to make Clover smile, and how she would knock him down a few notches with her "on point" banter.

Awww... Clover and Marshall's story is so cute... funny, sweet, and sexy too! It is a second chance, enemies to lovers, best friend's brother, and sports romance. I enjoy their banters in the beginning. Marshall's messages while Clover was on the date are so hilarious but he is so swoon-worthy to help Clover with her situation. Of course, their chemistry is spot on and I don't even know why and how Maddie, Marshall's sister and Clover's best friend, can't detect this already. The plot is less dramatic even Marshall has his own issue though. And I have to say I am more swooning with his tactics to win Clover back. They are perfect together and it makes me want to re-read Blocked again. Oh, and I also want to know about Piper and Donovan's history. Can't wait for it!
