This is a must-read for anyone who has been newly diagnosed with migraine and/or anyone who feels hopeless and like they've exhausted all the options. There are 150 different treatments in this book. 150. Your doctor will probably only try 4.

I feel so much more hope after reading this book. I've tried triptans, gepants, nerve medications, magnesium, and physical therapy. Some weren't effective at all, some helped knock the pain down, but none got rid of my daily pain and occasional bed-ridden, head pounding migraine attacks. The next step is Botox. I'm hoping that will be my saving grace, but if it's not, I'm prepared to go down the list of all 150 options in this book.

I'll also mention it is VERY up to date and written in very basic sentences. It is easily understandable to anyone just learning about migraine.

Really helpful book

I had lost all hope of recovery from my chronic migraine until I found this book. Clear, concise and it's useful that the relevant studies are hyperlinked into the ebook

As a chronic migraine sufferer, I enjoyed reading this book a lot. It provided some I formation that I already knew but also a wealth of information on supplements, alternatives to current treatments and reviews on medications and why they work/may work for certain types of migraines. I also appreciated that it was written in plain English and not medical speak. Having something that is also digital that can be updated when there is new information available is also great to have handy

I honestly reccomend it to anyone who has been suffering with migraines and is feeling hopeless because their treatment failed. I'm glad he didn't spend too long explaining what migraines are, how they feel etc as some other books I've seen because obviously those who search for books know a lot about migraines already and are desperate for new information. The book made me realize I still haven't tried some options which made me hopeful. I also like how extensively he covered exercise, acupuncture and other alternative treatments while also mentioning medication and not demonizing those who need it.

Lots of useful information! And also some anti-fat rhetoric (including discussion of bariatric surgery for migraine treatment…yikes). I acknowledge this man is a headache specialist and perhaps isn’t trained in other areas of medicine, so I took some pieces of info with a grain of salt. Still gave me some good ideas and I’m glad I have this book as a resource.

Lots of valuable information. As a migraine sufferer since 2008 I have tried a lot of treatments. This helped give me more hope of other options out there.

Only down side is, unsure of what to try first as there is plenty out there.
