Rate this book
Emma's world takes on a new sparkle now that she's a Christian and learns to forgive Aunt Shannon for the accident that took her little sister's life. But trouble is brewing with Landlady over Taffy. Ethan's not worried, claiming Landlady's all bark and no bite, and he teaches Taffy a game of Find It.

The autumn days fly by with adventures at the coffee shop job, helping with Hunter's leaf business, Hill Top's city-wide yard sale, and a day at the library. All the while, tension builds with Landlady, and when Emma is faced with her biggest fear, what will she do?

Another fun, clean story for children. It starts off minutes after Book 1 ends.
This story is full of movement. While there is quite a bit of excitement, there is also a lot of going here and there. I had a hard time figuring out just when this story takes place because the kids are allowed to walk and ride their bikes all over town. Yes, it is a tiny town, but in this day and age, it doesn’t sound like a good idea. I do like the characters and the interactions between people. There were a few times I had a harder time picturing the setting, but I suppose younger children might not care.
The illustrations are great!
