It is said that ancient castles hold ancient secrets. Those mysteries, unrevealed, will over time become legend — stories told to children on winter nights beside a glowing fireside. Such a legend, aged for centuries in the hourglass of time, is stripped of belief to all but a few. Yet, all it takes is a few, even two, to listen and become curious.
Very nice story. In case the titles are unclear, this story ties in with two other books: Adventure in Casablanca and Rania. It's a bit of a spin-off to the Sherlock Holmes canon story The Musgrave Ritual, but has a lighter tone and some extra fun. Also, it was rather fun to explore a mystery around an ancient castle.
I actually enjoyed this one, so I may keep it in my library. It's worth a few dollars for a more relaxed Holmes mystery.
