Kinde Unlimited.

Very much a insta-love/lust situation, with a 15 year age gap. It's very lifestyles of the rich and the famous and all the drama that comes from that. Predictable and tedious, so I didn't finish.

I like the story in general. It was a tad bit too fast paced, the conflicts weren’t fleshed out, and the younger character forgave too easily.

Sometimes people in books fall in love after two days and I the reader am like what?! noooo, you’re wrong. This is a ridiculously interesting but irrational story honestly. MC’s jump to conclusions too easy and forgive even easier. It’s wild. But I guess the chemistry was off the charts eh?

This was wild. Oh my god.

this is the least mellow romance i've read. there's not a single thing that happens in this relationship that doesn't go from zero to a hundred real quick.

Because of that, the pacing is just so goddamn fast. they make love, fight, declare their love and fight again in like two weeks and forty pages. It's a lot.

Wild read

Fantastic Read!

This book had a little bit of everything. Lila who was trying to make changes to her life to live “her” life and not anyone else’s especially her mother’s, agrees after being on the lonely side of things, to go to a charity dinner. Thinking this was another boring event her mother had invited her to, Lila quickly realizes the penthouse she just stepped into and the decor around was not her mother’s usual stuffy society type. Upon seeing her mother with her best friend, she approaches them but in a short period of being near her mother, the relationship and working questions start but thanks to her mother’s best friend, she gets her away. During this time, a woman, Kate, is introduced to her but all the world ceased to exist and Imogen, her mother’s best friend, comments that her sister has that effect on people. She proceeds to tell her that her sister is the worlds biggest flirt and discourages her from her sister, who is having a rocky time of it. During this interaction, Kate is alone with her thoughts and she can not get Lila out of her mind. Something about her causes a feeling in her that has not been there in a long time. Kate goes back to where Lila and her sister are talking and interrupts them but taking Lila’s arm in hers and leads her away from her sister until they are alone in her study and shows her the views from there. Their is instant chemistry and want and now both know they are into each other. Kate, knowing a party that she did not want to do is going on, she tells Lila to stay there and she will tell her sister and Lila’s mother that Lila left early, and get the guest to depart.Upon coming back and now all alone in the penthouse, they share a drink and start to get to know each other but the sexual chemistry is coming off the pages and Lila realizes since she is younger by fifteen years, she will most definitely have to make the first move, which she does. This was an explosive scene and the telling of how the story was going to go. Add in a very disturbed and unhappy ex husband and you have the makings of a great storyline. This being this writers first full length novel, I am thoroughly impressed. I will definitely keep my eyes open for other works. Read this and you will not be dissatisfied.

no offence to the author but for me this is one of the more rubbish books i've read this year.

an instalove-centric plot, where there was zero tension between the main characters, and a surprise pregnancy that barely fits into the timeline. AND a kidnap ploy?? it just didn't make sense - nothing worked well and rather, it felt like each incident was thrown together haphazardly because on paper it sounded kinda cool, and would totally add some sort of stake, right?... right?

the writing was poor, more of 'i'm just going to tell you what my character is doing instead of you ever getting a sense of who they are and why they might choose to do such actions'. it was also full of grammatical and syntax errors, and made it seem like i was reading an unedited first draft.

Goid book

This book is filled with drama and a crazy ex. First Lila has a bad relationship with ever mother but still goes to the character party that her moms friend is having at her sister Kate's house. They meet and there is a spark. Imogene is Kate sister but you only hear of her just once after the party. A beautiful story of how some relationships are today. Yes, no communication when things go wrong, just breaks up and then come back and talk after a few days. The crazy ex just wants Kate and will do anything to get her back. But in the end love does prevail. A good book to read can't wait for the next book by this author

Lila is an artist/painter & wants to work in a museum of classical art. Kate is a modern artist icon/brand. Both have emotional baggage but Kate's ex-husband is very very bad. The fundraiser where Kate & Lila meet is the fire starter and their romance experiences good, bad, ugly emotional and very public exposure. I'm surprised Riley West gave them a happy ending. I kept reading because I wanted to see what would happen. It is a well written story and worth the read.

It was ok

I I will recommend it because it was a good, ok book ! I just couldn’t get into it. I found myself becoming disinterested and forcing myself to finish the book. I never could get a feel for the characters. But remember, this is only my opinion - the next reader may absolutely love the book and give it a rave review ! You have nothing to lose so go ahead and read it !

Nice quick angst romance to read.

Really enjoyed it, felt like you really got a lot of Kate and Lila’s story without focusing on one part for too long!

My only thing- I wish Lila had been a bit harder on Kate the second time she kind of broke up with her, she just let her walk back in without much of an issue despite the trust issues in both side the situation could’ve caused.

Looking forward to reading more from this author 😊

Love on The Westside

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Loved the MCs both equally, even though I wanted to throttle Kate a few times. I look forward to reading more books from Riley West.

A well written whirlwind

So to say this is a bit of a whirlwind would be accurate. Everything is quick paced from the start. The MCs are both interesting and they go through quite a lot of ups and downs together but it works out quite well.

I really liked this story. The character interaction held my attention. There was a lot of sex, but it wasn't very explicit. I liked that. Both main characters, at times, needed a bop in the head for being stupid.
