Ce quotidien qui semble aujourd'hui insignifiant composera demain nos plus beaux souvenirs...

Ritsu est encore sous le choc de la déclaration de Nao. Rating: 3.5 stars.

The side story is still good, the artwork is as superb as ever but I'm starting to get annoyed by the main couple. Another admirer showing up? Another misunderstanding and hesitation? That's just getting a bit old.

BTW, angry sex and forcing yourself on someone else really isn't okay (especially in the context of this story)! Consent is sexy, you know!

Okey, I'm tired of Takano's constant abuse now. I get why he is the way he is because I am also tired of Onodera's constant refusal even though it is clear he wants Takano. Jeez, why is this still going on, this cat and mouse play? I'm almost at the point where I wish Takano just say "fuck it" and fly of to the other side of the world for a minute or five.

Yukina and Kisa on the other hand are just adorable. Such a cute couple. Also, consent. Yeah, something the main couple completely lack.

That's probably my main issue with this manga, the lack of consent. I'm usually fine with some non-con but this has been going on for too long now and there has been absolutely no development what so ever. The art is fine at least even though I felt a bit weird about Takano's slight change in design. Maybe it's only me but he seems, idk, smoother. More refined or something. He doesn't look like he used to. I suppose it's what happens when a series have been going on for 15 years.

Okey, I still give it 4 stars because I'm a nostalgic b*tch and because the side story is just grade A cozy.

There's only so much back & forth I can take with a couple before I wanna scream, "Either you two are all in or call it quits!"

That's how I'm feeling right now with these two

3.5. potential minor spoilers, but this far in, none of them should be surprising. As others said, things from a readability standpoint with Ritsu and Takano are going downhill. Ritsu's denial is annoying and shows no character growth at all. But, the tension in the first few chapters was high and I was digging it. I don't care about Nao as a rival, but it is nice that for once a yaoi title doesn't make every male into a sexual interest. That Ritsu only sees Nao as a friend is a refreshing change and shows that Ritsu can act like an adult. Although it's annoying that Nao also uses Ritsu as a doormat, but just laughs it off. Then the last R/T chapter came. WTH. I get what it's going for but that is not the way to do it. All that did was try to romanticise and glorify rape. I mean, T forces himself on R and then we get the page that's all happy because it's X# of days until Ritsu falls in love! Uh...😕 This element of yaoi really needs to go away and the dominant/submissive relationships deserve better representation. The latter half of the book is 180 degrees different and refreshing. I felt so bad for Kisa! But they are cute and mature and so natural. I wish we could have seen some of the artwork since it played such a major role. I'm not giving up on the series, but I'm glad it's winding down. It doesn't feel like either relationship really moved.

Reread #2

I mean were to start. This story is so well built and so painfully slow and wonderful I can't even. It's just ugh I love it. Great impossible situations that have you laughing, crying, wanting. Absolutely the best manga and it has an anime eeeeeeek. So good. Also the depth of the story and complexity of the characters makes this manga a step above the rest.

The drawing of the characters has become noticeably different and not in a good way. Less definition. I'm not a fan.

And I know its older but I always wish for color. It was very sad to see Onodera so angry in the present when he use to be so innocent and in love. Being about a Shoujo manga publishing house made this manga so much more enjoyable and interesting. I appreciated the little definitions of the publishing house words we dont understand. And oh Takano how I've missed you. Your mind and manner is very sexy and worth every panel I read.

Update: I might lose if they the writer never finishes this manga. I need the ending I need churchbells and all things happy. Too much has happened to these two THEY NEED THEIR HAPPY ENDING! AND I NEED TO READ ABOUT IT. And kou omg just seeing some random guy in the background sparkling and you instantly know its him, well it just makes my day. KOU YOUR TOO DAMN SHINY!

2 stars…maybe less. Had to skip a lot of Onodera and Takano’s chapters. Takano straight up rapes Onodera. Onodera says to stop, to wait, that it hurts, and Takano ignores him and tells him that clearly he wants it because he’s hard, no matter what he says (screams).

4.5 stars. Kiss and Yukina continue to be my reason for reading any of this. They’re weird and adorable. Yukina struggles with figuring out what he wants to say with his art and passing his grad school exams, and to try to clear his head he takes a break from Kisa and their relationship for like 2 months or so. Kisa took it like an adult and they both struggled being apart, but I liked that while it was weird, it was cute and they both try hard to support each other even through times like that.

I really do adore this couple, the main couple in this series. They were my first yaoi couple that I read and watched! With that being said, I feel that this story has been going on just a smidge too long. I feel like Onodero and Saga's relationship has just not gotten to where I really want it to be. I don't like the CONSTANT doubt that Onodero has for Saga, I get it he was hurt by a narrative he believed and when he found out the truth that hurt still lingered but I need him to start changing his ways and do better. I like the series but I think ending at volume 15 is the best idea for the author.

While I will love this series, since it is one of the first bl/yaoi series I ever read, the unresolved romance between Onodera and Takano has been going on forever!! It may be less than a years time in story, but in the real world, it's been years!

Onodera just needs to put his big boy pants on, and confess already. We all know you love Takano, and even he knows it!

Yukina and Kise are still super cute together, though.

While the art is still great, it's also pretty clear that 'The World's Greatest First Love' should have ended by now. There has been no real progress on the main couple's relationship. The comedy is either gone or has gotten repetitive. I have honestly lost count on how many rivals entered, were rejected and never heard from again. Nakamura needs to take a deep breath and end the series.

Me encanto esa pequeña parte.

I was pleasantly surprised by the emotions in this volume. Between Ritsu, Takano, and Nao, I dunno who had ahold of my heart this volume. I teared up in chapter 28 and 28.5. Ritsu is so stubborn and precious.

I also loved the Yukina chapter. Its interesting to see what his perspective is compared to Kisa's feelings.

I was pretty positive that I had read this volume last year, but forgot to change the status.

As much as Ritsu frustrates me, I still love him even as he is getting close to confessing.

The chapter with Kisa was cute too.

I can't wait for the day that Ritsu finally confesses.

I felt like there was so much progress between Onodera & Takano and Kisa & Yukina in this volume…like deep, emotional progress. They’re both such cute couples!

Heck, I'm dropping this series cause of the main couple. I'm really sad because their relationship is getting worse and worse, that's bad. Okay, I still like erotica couple.

I'm still enjoying this series but I have to admit that I'm starting to get annoyed with Onodera again. For a while it felt like his relationship with Takano was moving forward but for some reason (maybe the reappearance of Nao?) things seem to be going backwards again.

In this, as well as the last, volume there were a lot of flashbacks to when Onodera was younger. I think the mangaka is trying to convey just how much the breakup traumatized him and use that as an explanation for why he's still resisting Takano's advances. At this point it's hard for me to believe that he can't see that they're pretty much a couple already.

I liked Nao alot and I think he'd make a great partner for Onodera, BUT I like Takano better. I love both their sexual and nonsexual chemistry and I'm impressed with how steadfast Takano has been in his love for him. He hasn't wavered yet... even in the face of Onodera's constant mixed messages. Fortunately, the count down to when Onodera supposedly falls (completely) in love with Takano is slowing winding down so I guess we'll get there eventually. It was like this for Misaki and Akihiko in Junjo Romantica, so I guess I'm used to it.

Kisa and Yukina are just as cute as ever but I always feel bad for them. Just like Nowaki and Hiroki from Junjo Romantica, both are extremely busy, but, at least Nowaki and Hiroki lived together. These two sometimes go weeks without seeing each other! In this volume, at the request of Yukina, they take a two month break from seeing or even speaking to each other, in order for Yukina to focus on school. The separation from each allowed them to see how much they mean to each other. They really should just move in together. I know at one point Kisa wasn't into it but I think he'd be open to it now.

I'm looking forward to the next volume, which won't be out until sometime next year. I already know that the main couple still won't officially be together and they still have to deal with Nao. When they FINALLY together, their next hurdle will be deciding if they want to keep it from people at work. I know how possessive Takano can be and I'm not sure whether it will get better or worse once they are a couple.
