The changeless state of consciousness is the constant judgment of the logical mind, an unconscious and independent activity that don't let up from sunup to sundown.
From moment to moment, it follows thoughts with relentless devotion, tirelessly dedicated to dissect and to identify and untiring in its task to label and to segregate.
Thus, countries are born. Different races are identified. Borders are drawn and with it, conflicts inevitably arise and the institutions built to tenaciously defend them presumptuously slice not only the world, but the whole cosmos with the sharpness of the knife like a cake that has been cut into tiny little pieces.
And when everybody begins to instinctively want a larger piece for himself, the desire to compete becomes unconsciously incessant. The divisive sense of superiority becomes a must. When winners are driven by the reward of fortunes, losers are hampered by the loss of misfortune. Thus, the pursuit of happiness becomes always associated with success and the threat of misery with failure. When equality is compromised this way, stillness is gone, the equanimity so severed and eventually replaced by the chaotic noise of diversity. The intuitive and innate sense of sameness is forever drown out, never to reveal itself, remains dormant and undiscovered until voluntarily recalled consciously when one begins learning to sit alone in silence...
Perhaps, this is why God chooses to remain silent. Whether we believe in Him or we don't, whether we worship Him or despise Him, it doesn't matter and this is also in spite of the world with all its glories and tragedies because for Him "It's All The Same To Me".

Don't be fooled or misled by the title; this book has nothing to do with indifference, quite the opposite actually! It is a warm, compassionate and wise book that gives us different tools, examples, and guidelines to set us on a path towards peace of the mind and of the heart.
It is linked to various teachings and insights of the Torah. The structure is quite interesting and easy to follow. By writing in the form of questions and answers, Moshe not only provides us with potential questions and doubts we may have, but he also points out and highlights the important bits and parts.
For instance, the phrases "It's all the same to me" and "I don't mind" could be construed as a lack of caring. Yet, if seen from a different angle, they may also point towards a deeper understanding of spiritual truths in the sense that everything and everyone is essentially one and the same, a drop from the ocean, a leaf on a tree. We all belong and are more connected than we may think or even realize. We pay no mind to that which tries to separate us from all that, deep inside, we share and we all have in common.

This small book is a guide through the spiritual teachings of Judaism. Gersht does a great job of introducing and fleshing out the topics he presents. His examples are simple and easy to understand and engage. None of this is new but his presentation is wonderful. He also deals well with potential misunderstandings.
I do question some of the suggestions which are available to those who have enough and more than enough. That this book was well received by the Wall Street Journal and USA Today underscores this. One of the most calming books I have ever read.

An oasis of peace and love in a world full of anxiety.
This book by Moshe Gersht is perfect for those of us who seek a direct spiritual explanation for the dichotomy that exists between our surface egos and the One that dwells within us all and throughout all creation. Excellent spiritual guidance!

I truly felt amazing reading this book, it's a short and compact read, but definitely worth reading. It's very remarkable and even though it's a non-fictional read but it's actually very tempting. Once I picked it, I was able to read it within two days, I took a lot markings and I think it's really uplifting.

Such a refreshing short read as a reminder that life is love, joy and peace. A nice read that reawakens you to the possibility of experiencing life as your true self. This book was really nice to read as there is so much sadness and loss in life that we forget to appreciate what we have in the present. Such an insightful book, highly recommend!

Need More Torah and Talmud
I was looking forward to reading this book when reading about how the author had a journey from Los Angeles to Jerusalem. How’re, there was no personal journey and no deep stories to anchor this book on guidance and spirituality.

An easy, lighthearted, read leaving readers uplifted and positive. I read this on my road to recovery after a brutal battle with cancer it uplifted my spirits tremendously. Highly recommend.

Moshe Gersht is a new voice representing ancient wisdom that truly contains the potential to transform how I operate on a daily basis... and wow, what a message. This is exactly the kind of content we need right now in this world. Stop reading this review and just buy it already, seriously... I'll let the book speak for itself. It's a no brainer!
