The farming and ranching boys my age are okay for a roll in the hay.
But I’m looking for someone on FetLife who will discipline me and tell me I’m a "good girl".
Someone like him. Internet personalities are not always what they seem. I learned that the hard way. But when I meet Arthur in real life, I discover he is everything his online pics promised and he is going to do much more than make me call him “Daddy”. He’s going to teach me to be a very badly behaved girl indeed.

I do like this author, and seeing the page number I knew it was going to be quick. Which it was, very steamy and girl knows her BDSM. But it was missing some things, at one point against the wall then all of a sudden in her apartment. So if you can get over the little plot holes it’s a good steamy read, with a silver fox Dom.
This book was all over the place. They moved way too quick in this kind of relationship. He was wishy washy at times with what he wanted and was doing. She was just annoying.
I usually enjoy Olivia Fox's stories but this was just not one of them. Age gap romances isn't a favorite to begin with but the heroine sounded way younger than she was (later 20's i think). I just couldn't move past words used like "hootie hole" or whatever it was. It completely throw me off. I just couldn't buy into the relationship. Might try the next one as I generally like her writing and something there's duds in the mix
I don't mind silver foxes, or daddy Dom romances. Age gap romances are not my thing, but I have been known to read them. Interestingly enough, this very large age gap didn't bother me at all.
What drove me up the wall was Belinda, this 28 yo woman behaving like she was 16. Ok, I will be generous, 19. Her conversation, her behavior, her general attitude were so ridiculous. Referring to her "poon poon" or her "hootie hole". I almost stopped reading right there.
Then her behavior at dinner with her girls discovering something about Arthur she didn't know. How could Belinda justify being mad at Arthur because she found out about his finances??? That was another completely ludicrous moment. 1. What could possibly make her think this man had any obligation to tell her about his personal finances when they had known each other maybe a couple of weeks at that time? 2. Since he was the ONLY one in this town, its obvious she spent no time trying to find out anything about the man who wanted her to be his sub.
Seeing as how this was a Daddy Dom book, maybe her character was supposed to be childish, immature, and ridiculous. Arthur was the king of indulgence. There wasn't much about this book that made me think " Daddy Dom". The whole process of Belinda naming her pelvic region (as she liked to refer to it) ridiculous names took any sexiness out of play for me.
I have to stop. There were so many things that irked me I can't list them all. This book wasn't for me. Maybe I was missing something when I read it. After I was done, I noticed all of the 4 and 5 star reviews. I just didn't get it. I will give it 2 stars for effort. My recommendation would be for you to read it and judge for yourself.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received from Booksprout.
This is a quick read about a mature gentleman and a younger heroine. Belinda is seeking a partner to delve into her sexual adventures, while Arthur is yearning for a companion to share his life with after being betrayed by two individuals he trusted. I found this book to have moments of intensity, but then out of the blue there would be some weird wording that would just distract from the story. It was moments like this that made this book just an okay read.
Arthur is so freaking intriguing ahhhh! I loved him so so much. It is very entertaining. I only read one sec scene in the book but I loved how it shows that Daddy Doms are not always sexual. That’s what I came to the conclusion of. It was really worth the read in my opinion.
I have always preferred shorter novellas, which are spicy and the story is simple. But this was just plain stupid. Too rushed. Even a teenage writer on wattpad can come up with something more original and meaningful. 4/10.
Belinda was looking for someone more mature than her age and finds it in Arthur. A man who is older than her and willing to take control on a naughty little. Fast-paced read with loads of chemistry, plenty of drama and steam. I liked it.
I can't believe I actually read this. Ok. I skimmed at least half, hoping it would get better. I'm all for instal love and I can go along with suspending reality if the writing is good and the characters engaging, but this was just....none of those things.

I think I may have only received the first few chapters so am review what I have read.
I found the several options for the meet cute strange in this book.
If he is really and daddy dom I found him a little tame If he like the look of her at the wedding why didn't her talk to her then? and if he had seen her profile on fetlife why didn't he reach out to her on there? but instead of picking either of these easy options to meet her chases her down the street and kinda of accosts her in a coffee shop.
If she was so interested in meeting a daddy why didn't she contact him via the fetlife website?
why were these two people pinning away instead of acting?
the necklace in the fetlife profile and in person I also found a strange choice.
books of this genre tend to have younger even barely legal women in the role of the little girl was kinda strange that the female in this was nearly thirty a full grown women made me wonder if people continue this for ever are the 50, 60, 70 year old women out there been called little girl? hey what ever does it for you go for it but just seems strange to me to call some one something that they clearly aren't.
there was only one sex scene in the version of the story I received and it was good they had chemistry and this book has potential the daddy dom stuff way really kicking off so if that is your thing I think you will enjoy this book.
I would have much preferred to receive the whole book would I purchase the rest of this book not sure because daddy dom books aren't really my favorite more reading it because it was free and why not when it is some free smutty fun am I right? but yes I would have finished reading if it had kindle unlimited which I don't.
I would be interested to read other book by this author for sure.
This is the first book by Olivia Fox I've read so I had no idea what to expect. 'Daddy Esquire' is book one in her "Silver Fox Daddy" series and I have to admit the scenes were HOT as blue blazes. Living in a small time, Belinda had already been the talk in several circles previously because she'd be catfished. A young woman in her twenties, working as a PA to several indie authors, she was self-sufficient and yet, she didn't want to go through that again but she really wanted to find a Daddy Dom, that's why she was on FetLife. Even though she had some experience, that turned out to be blasé to say the least, she wasn't interested in all the body pictures she was sent. That wasn't what she was looking for. But there was one that caught her eye. One that kept her pulse racing every time she looked at. The one in the suit with the sleeves rolled up. She couldn't see his face but still, that was the man she fantasized about, the one she wanted for a daddy. When she finally built her courage up she sent a unique, modestly risqué picture of herself to him but had yet to hear anything back. Arthur on the other hand was a prominent attorney of the community. In his fifties, he'd already been disillusioned by his partner in life and his business practice when he caught them together. He thought he'd sealed his emotions away and conducted a strictly business attitude in all walks of life until he saw Belinda at a mutual friends wedding. They weren't introduced. They didn't know each other. But he couldn't get her out of his mind. Imagine when by chance, they meet in person. This isn't an in-depth, deep plot, mind bending story. This is just a series of events with HOT scenes and a small bit of angst but it was a great way to spend a few hours. I'm interested in reading the remaining books in the series, for sure.
The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! By the time you’ve figured out who is who and who to like and dislike, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! Can’t say I didn’t warn you. Belinda has been curious for a while about kink lifestyle and wanting a daddy of her own to take care of her, protect her and keep her in line with a firm hand. Arthur is an older man who has lived and been in relationships, but he wants something that will last, he wants/needs to be a daddy and he wants/needs that special baby girl. He has reached a stage where he has accomplished his financial and career goals and just wants to settle and share his life with that special one. He first saw her while attending a friend’s wedding and she hits him right in the heart it was instant but wasn’t the right time. Fate decided to step in, and they finally meet face to face and the attraction and chemistry is instant for them both. They each have what the other is seeking but will it be enough?
Romance genre: DDlg Series: Silver Fox Daddy Length: 143 pages
Plot: Belinda is looking for a Daddy on Fetlife, and has only sent a message to one person, even though she can't see his face. Arthur would like a little girl of his own, although he's only seriously intrigued by one message he receives online. Of course, these two are a match. But they actually meet in real life without knowing that they have "met" online before. Once they do meet and put together where they "know" each other from, they're all in. But Artur might be a little more than Belinda can get her head around. If she's willing to try though, Arthur just might be the Daddy for her.
Character development: Belinda seemed a lot younger than she was, and I think part of that was the way she described her body. She used phrases like "hooty hole" and "poon poon." I love a good euphemism, but this wasn't played well (for comedy sake). If we were meant to see how young/immature Belinda was, then it worked well. Otherwise, it was a little annoying and didn't make me see her as a Little but rather an immature woman. Also, it was strange to me that she was so hard on Arthur because of his money. He had it - couldn't change that fact - and I don't think he eas trying to hide it from her. It just hadn't come up yet. I can understand not wanting to feel like you've been bought, but that's a time for communication and compromise. Anyways, they worked it out.
I find it curious that even people who rated this one 1 star are saying the author writes way better because I don't see that possible. Either she wrote this one blindfolded or she challenged herself to write a novella in one hour or so because this is one of the worst written books in the spicy romance genre.
From the plot lacking any kind of structure and barely having any conflict, to the characters being just a man and a woman (can't tell you anything else about them - well a very rich old man and a very stupid woman who has a cat), to the worst steamy scenes context wise (they had a huge fight and then they fuck but in a role play way and without finishing the fight, this was no makeup sex, guys!) It was just overall very very bad. And you can tell because it's under 150 pages yet it took me three days to read it!
I read it for the Dirty Daddies book club, otherwise this was an instant DNF. Apart from the issues illustrated above, the MMC is 56 but talks and acts like he is in his 90s and this fresh p**sy is bringing him back to life (*barfingsounds*) and the FMC is 28 but talks and acts like teen - and the many ways she uses to refer to her vulva except a mature properly acceptable term (*doublebarfingsounds*) - at least stick to one funny way of calling it.
It was just bad. Awful, awful, awful, I need to cleanse my brain of this novella.
So let me just jump right into the review, if you are looking for spice then this is the book for you. If you are looking for dirty talking again , grab this book. If you are looking for drama, then move along and if you are looking for constant "should I, no ..well yes. Well no" then this maybe the book for you.
The premise of the book is wonderful , the execution of said story isn't. The FMC is 28 and she seems to call her private area the poon poon, the hoo ha, etc. At first it was cute, but then you realize she was being for real and not a joke. That was screaming not 28 year old PA lover of books. And now we have Arthur who what I understand is a killer in the court room, but a pansy in RL it seems. He is so beta unless it is while in the bed room. It gave me a headache trying to catch up.
Now the sex part OMG A++++++ , the dirty talking from him WOW. It would make a nun hot. Over all if you just want hot sex scene then read this book, but don't expect to have an emotional connection to this story line.
Drama 1/5 Spice 5/5 Overall 2/5 Triggers: Non con, dom/sub and really bad names for your anatomy
My latest book genre craving has been almost anything in the Daddy Dom genre. Daddy Esquire delivered in the Daddy department, but on a smaller scale than some others I've recently read. Arthur is 27 years older than Belinda and more of a sexy sugar daddy than a daddy Dom, but they have a great dynamic. I really liked Belinda for several reasons. Instead of being super young or barely legal like in some books, she's a 27 year old, smart, creative, self-sufficient young woman. Instead of needing a daddy to save her or take care of her, she is simply seeking someone to help her explore her sexuality. These two definitely had chemistry. What I didn't enjoy was that the story seemed rushed and the timeline seemed to skip around a bit. In one scene they had only been on a few dates, then suddenly in the next paragraph, they had been together for a month. Overall, I enjoyed the story and the characters, but it could have been polished up a bit. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book for the author.

0,5 ⭐ DNF at 72% and the book is some 170 pages long... I wonder how I even got that far🥱. I like silver foxes, Age gap romances are one of my favorites, Daddy Dom or any type of Dom/sub romances aren't exactly my thing but that is never a real reason for me to dislike a book because I consciously decide to read the book with that trope, when I decide on reading it. This book is so poorly written, characters are boring, sex scenes are cringey and far from hot. I don't like to leave bad reviews but I think it's fair to warn readers not to waste their money on something like this. Luckily, the book was currently free on Amazon when I downloaded it so I don't feel bad about making this mistake. It's not long, maybe it would take you 2 hours to read it, but please, don't waste your time, especially not your money. And, okay...I'll admit that I was attracted by the cover. That's absolutely the only good thing in this book. But I cannot imagine this boring cringey talking and acting Daddy Dom Arthur to look like the cover model...
Kind of a lot and a little to unpack at the same time here. First of all the daddy kink is the hottest trend right now. Secondly, this seemed like an ad for this dating platform for that kink site.
The writing style had me confused sometimes, because the dialogue was not in the same paragraph for the same character. And it doesn’t always need to be, but if the thought is not completed, then it seems that the second dialogue is the other character. Usually when dialogue is continued into another paragraph, they don’t end the quotation. It seems like just an editing issue for me. And should I have edited this book myself I would have big time picked up on this style, and the improvements that they could make in order to make the characters voices clearer.
My nit picking aside, that cover model is hands-down, the hottest cover model I have seen in my entire life. And I have in fact, showed this covert to everybody I know, including my husband saying look, this is the man I would leave you. So hot! Great, casting!
Daddy Esquire silver fox, Belinda is a twenty-eight years old single female, she does writing in her spare time when she not working as a PA, Arthur is a mature twice the heroine age, billionaire that takes notices of Belinda from a previous encounter when a mutual friends had wedding where Arthur saw Belinda attended and liked what he saw but did not attempt at that time to devolope anything between each other. Arthur sees Belinda walking into a coffee shop, from his office window and approches her talk to about having dinner together seeing they both were at a wedding and did not get the opportunity to get to know each other. This romance was steamy, intense, Arthur was apprehensive about committing to anything or relationships, he also has emotional scars from a past relationship. Arthur was strong, domineering, take-charge, alpha and caring toward Belinda. Belinda and Arthur both had chemistry, sweet, nice, sexy, dirty talking, classy and I simply loved it.
Belinda was clear about what she wanted - a Daddy Dom to take care of her as the farm and ranch boys her age were just ok for a roll in the hay and nothing more. So she uses FetLife to try and find someone even though she knew meeting someone via the internet was not always successful. As soon as she met Arthur who was 27 years older than her she realises that he is everything and more from his online pictures. He will definitely teach her to call him Daddy and will also teach her to be a very badly behaved girl.
This was a fast-paced story that focused on their doubts based on past disappointments and how they could move past them. I did find some of the things that they did a bit bizarre and the ending was a little abrupt with the move to a later time. I also had some outstanding questions as to what she was doing - still a PA or writing? Easy to read. Contains a lot of mature content.
Belinda is curious about the Kink Lifestyle, especially where she can have a domineering "Daddy" to lend a firm hand. She sees a pic of a man FetLite that interests her but she can't see his face. Arthur is an older man who has had plenty of relationships that were all temporary and at this stage in his life, he has met all his career and financial goals and now yearns to find the right "someone" he can spoil and share his life. He sees a girl (Brenda) at a distance while attending a friend's wedding and is smitten. Well, the stars align and Belinda and Arthur met and the attraction is immediate but is what each one has to offer what the other one is seeking? Some twists and turns to keep you wondering if there is an HEA but this book definitely held my interest until the end.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable with Daddy and little dynamics. The characters were interesting and likable. Belinda was pretty sure she was a little although she'd never had a relationship where she was one. She had decided to look for a Daddy and knew that she would want him to be older as older men were yummy. Arthur was a Daddy Dom but was pretty sure that he had found his new little but had yet to actually meet her. A chance encounter at a coffee shop changed both of them. I liked how their story developed. I liked that Arthur tried to give Belinda time to get to know what she really wanted before moving forward. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

This is a sensuous age gap daddy romance. I really liked how the author addressed the age gap so that it did not become a real issue. Arthur is a gentleman who likes to take control and he falls for Belinda before he ever really knows anything about her other than his concern for her age. I liked that Belinda was a truly kind person who wanted a Daddy and to be submissive to him but was not looking for or expecting him to be rich. I did not like that Arthur had a woman on the side that he was paying, even though he did not fool around with her once he actually met Belinda and started dating her. It was a bit odd and confusing and should have just been cut out of the story. Other than that part, I really enjoyed reading this and enjoyed the characters.

Daddy Esquire is the first book in Olivia Fox’s Silver Fox Daddy series. In it, readers meet Belinda Donovan and Arthur Sullivan. This is an age-gap, semi age play romance. She is 28 and he is 56. She is a personal assistant and was catfished causing her to have trust issues. He is an established attorney, wealthy and betrayed by his long-term girlfriend and his partner leaving him with trust issues.
I think Ms. Fox fell short in this romance plot line. Her characters are multi-dimensional, but their evolution is slow and their growth is hinted. Arthur is supposed to be a DD, but I find him more of a dominant. The sexual intensity between these two did not feel realistic when Belinda vacillated between a woman and a juvenile, as is evidenced by her word choices at times. Needless to say, I was a bit disappointed with this read.
This novel is panty meltingly hot!!Certainly not for those with a delicate disposition ~ you have been warned!
A baby girl seeking her Daddy sends a picture of herself to a stranger on Fetlife (think Facebook but for kinksters), little does she know how that simple act will change her life.
Belinda and Arthur's story is smoldering almost from the very first page. The significant age gap wasn't a factor in their relationship, but each finding in the other just what they'd been searching for was. Belinda fulfills Arthur's needs to care for and protect and he fulfills her need to be dominated and cherished.
I received this novel as an ARC from Booksprout in return for providing a voluntary review
At 28, Belinda is looking for more than the boys her age. She's looking for a man to call daddy. When she runs into the man she met at a friend's wedding at a coffee shop, they decide to meet later for a date. She discovers then that this is the man she has been looking for. Arthur is 56 and an established, wealthy attorney. He has been burned, and is looking for a woman he can trust, and a woman he can dominate in the bedroom. Belinda is everything he is looking for. There is a lot of delicious steam in this story, and it was a quick read for me. While part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
