This wasn’t a bad DDlg short story... it’s just a bit unbelievable and way too quick on the instalove. But hey, it’s fiction right? So let’s go with it...

Katie is a waitress living paycheck to paycheck. As she’s riding her bike home in the rain, she’s hit by a car and the driver takes off. She knocks on the door of the nearest house and Lawyer Daddy Jake answers the door. Of course she goes right into his house, he wants to take care of her right away and immediately calls her baby girl. She lets him demand that she stay to wait for his Doctor friend to come look her over (who is also a Daddy, btw) and she’s all agreeing to it. She ends up staying the night and asks for him to sleep next to her. This dude is a stranger. Whaaaat. Okay then.

Anyway, the next day he offers for her to stay with him while she’s healing and they go about their days while she’s a Little and he’s a Daddy... there’s a tiny bit of an issue because he’s obviously a busy lawyer and she just popped into his life. He fixes it and they don’t have sex until about 90% in and it’s very quickie style honestly. Ugh.

Overall, I guess the story was cute. There was age play/regression, Katie has stuffies, coloring books, watches Disney movies and sucks her thumb. Also a brief bit of ABDL where Jake changes her diaper.

Side note: no clue how old these characters are. Most likely an age gap as it’s mentioned that Jake could be at least 10 years older but possibly more closer to 20. We’ll go with it. Also, no OW mention whatsoever - assuming Jake hasn’t been with a woman in many years. No mention of any men previously for Katie but also didn’t say that she was a virgin either.

Then you have to sign up for the author’s newsletter to get the final epilogue. I did but ugh, sometimes that is super annoying.

I’m still gonna read the next book in this series about the Doctor Daddy Ethan. These are short enough stories to be semi-enjoyable but not get bored too quickly. Just give me more smut and it would be better. 😋

First of all, I want to make clear that I'm not proud I read this.

This was truly one of the worst books I've ever read. I don't think I'll ever be the same. I have lost some fundamental parts of my soul reading this. Compared to this, Kissing the Coronavirus is a true masterpiece. At least that book made me laugh.

This was cute and definitely one of the better m/f age play books I read so far.

However I didn’t like that he directly gave her nickname and that he basically took over her life after they met. Thought I didn’t have the feeling that he pressured her into this and it felt pretty consensual, so it’s ok.

This was of course insta love and their whole story went on very fast but it’s a short book anyway so that’s fine.

I won't be beleaguering on how this could had been a better novella. But it's just a day-in-the-life of a Daddy and a Little which is sweet without getting into the fine details of DD/lg. Which is fine. If you're just in a mood for a quickie of this flavor, by all means, read it. It'll leave you all warm and fuzzy.

Dominant Lawyer Daddy is the first book n Scott Wylder’s Daddy’s LG series. In this age-play novella, Mr. Wylder introduces readers to Katie and Jake. Katie is down on her luck working double shifts as a waitress just to make ends meet. Jake is a successful, workaholic attorney. Destiny brings them together when on a rainy night, she becomes the victim of a hit and run accident. Injured she makes her way to his door. Upon opening his door, Jake’s protective tendencies are activated. As he tends to her Katie is drawn to Jake. Will these two find happiness? You must read this book to discover what unfolds.

Mr. Wylder penned an appealing character driven plot. Readers witness Katie and Jakes journey from total strangers to a loving couple. I enjoyed the way he uses literary devices such as dialog, POV, and descriptive language. Witty and entertaining dialog made me chuckle. Mr. Wylder’s use of dual POV allows readers to glimpse the true nature of the lead characters. This novella was a pleasant read.

This novel could be a little disturbing for some people because describes taboos and delicate themes live child abuse and the impact on growing up adults. Katie was abused by her parents and that marked her negatively. She exhibited signals of psychological abuse that didn’t let her to completely develop as an adult. She was victim of a hit and run and stop at Jake’s to get help. He was a successful lawyer and decided to help and take care of help. Even though he loved relationships between “Daddy-Little Girl (adult)”, she respected her and didn’t take advantage of her. He loved her deeply and helped her to go over her past.
The plot could be a disturbing for some readers, however is part of reality. Really like the characters, specially Jake. The author developed the story very well and if you have the opportunity to read the Epilogue (additional chapter) you will see that Jake wants to help Katie to be better for herself.

Katie is on her way home from work, riding her bike in the rain, when she gets hit by a car that keeps driving. Hurt she lips up to the house and bangs on the door. Jake, a lawyer and a Daddy, answers the door and takes one look at Katie and brings her into the house. She's hurt and wed and looks like she hasn't eaten in a long time. He takes her to a clinic and has her foot x-rayed and then suggests that she stays with him until she heals. He never makes her feel as if he's going to take advantage of her. After some time together Katie learns to trust Jake and he finally understands why she feels as if she needs to earn her keep. It's hard to believe that some children have to grow up the way Katie did. Abused by parent with total negativity and psychological abuse didn't help her as she grew into and adult. This is my first read by Scott and I am surprised at how much I enjoyed it since I have mixed feeling on DDLG. I enjoyed the loving, compassionate, and protective nature of Jake that shined bright with Katie. These two were sweet, playful and steamy.
Going into this story, I realized it would be an instalove sort but I was left feeling a little too rushed, wanting more dialogue between the two characters instead of inner dialogue dominating, and more build up between the Jake and Katie. When I finished this, I just felt like I didn’t have a chance to connect with the characters and the story because of what I previously typed. Scott has true potential with this story and has caught my attention with DDLG genre - I just hope he expands on his characters so we have more of a chance to connect with them.

This is a short unexpected Daddy/Little story. I liked both characters honesty with each other and Jake's willingness to help someone who needs it but cannot afford it. Katie is riding her bicycle home from a long day working in a restaurant when she is hit by a car and the driver leaves the scene. She manages to get herself out of the road and to the nearest house. She knocks on the door to ask someone to call her an Uber to get home. Jake, a lawyer, answers the door and realizes that Katie is really hurt and needs to get medical attention. Their attraction is instant, but Jake knows that Katie needs to be safe and cared for more than she needs a relationship, so he does the right thing by taking care of her once he realizes that she cannot afford to do so. The plot is pretty traditional other than the beginning and flows nicely.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Katie is so broken due to abusive parents both mentally and physical, so her self-esteem isn’t there and one night she is hit by a car and knocks on the workaholic yet sexy Jakes door asking for help and immediately the daddy in him comes out. I love that he is protective, encouraging, and compassionate when it comes to dealing with Katie from the very start he knew she was a little but could he get her to believe enough in herself to truly let herself go and trust her care to him and not hurt her like her real father and somewhere along the line can the two of them be happy?

On her way home, Katie is hit by a car and finds herself needing help. At the door step of a house, Katie finds more than she could ever hope for. Jake is a lawyer, and works long hours. When he opens his door that someone is knocking on at late at night, he did realize what was going to happen,

Katie has had a rough life, she work for little pay and has been struggling, even growing up life was not what it should be. Now she just wants someone to take care of her. Jake heart is in to taking care of someone, when Katie came into his life he knew she could be someone to help him, even if it was a short time.

This is a good story and I enjoyed reading it.

She arrives on his door step due to a hit and run. Jake is a Daddy thru and thru and his protective nature skyrockets when he first lays eyes on her. Katie has had it rough her whole life and never had someone protect and care for her. These two have a great connection and chemistry together. I enjoyed this story. It is the first book that I have read by Scott and I plan to read more.

Jake is a daddy looking for a little, and a workaholic. Katie has had a rough life and is struggling when she gets hit by a car. The driver does not stop and she cannot afford medical bills. She goes to Jake's house for help and when he sees her he know. He helps her and wants her to get over her traumas and be a better person. Jake is so lovable because he is not a jerk, and Katie I felt so bad for her, she was dealt a crappy hand in life. I really liked the story and the way the story flowed. Jake and Katie are just wonderful and even better together. Loved it.!

- for 38 pages i think this was executed really well
- starting off with a bang, i like

- we’ve got ‘i love yous’ after a week of knowing each other
- look these aren’t good, but i will be reading every single one :)

A quick heartwarming read, this cute story reads fast. I have not read anything by this author before, so it was fun to find a new author whose work I enjoy. I've also never read a Daddy Dom/Little Girl romance and I was okay with it, I might read another one to see if I can really get into it. This novella was sweet and easy to follow. It was easy to tell that Katie was struggling with her past and that Jake was missing something. I enjoyed the way that this story played out and I'll look for more by this author in the future.

This is the first book I have read by Scott and it won't be the last.
There is an undeniable connection between Katie and Jake when she needs help after she is knocked off her bike while trying to get home.
Will their relationship build when she feels that she isn't worthy of being with him.
Can Jake make her see that she is everything to him.
Loved reading their story and looking forward to reading Ethans story.

This is a nice moving DDLG romance. About 2 people afraid to show what they truly are to each other. They seem to care for each other from the start. She thinks she is a burden and he doesn't it takes awhile but the story of how they work it out is nice. I am a fan of these types of books. I wish I could find my Daddy maybe that is why i am so attracted to them. It does depict a Little Girl with no Daddy well and in the end they truly need the other.

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. Katie was hit by a car while riding her bike, left on the side of the road badly injured struggling she needed to look for help. Jake a Lawyer and a daddy is very dominant male, herd a knock at his door, he was shocked when he looked at Katie, badly injured so he took her inside and organised a friend doctor to help. This book was sweet, steamy, arousing, pleasure with a more intense pleasures.

Jake is a workaholic, but when a Little is hit by a car in front of his house, what's the Daddy Dom to do but make sure she's all right. Katie is working hard trying to make ends meet when an unfortunate accident leads her to Jake's door. Jack is overworked and needs a distraction and Katie is just the thing. The characters were well written but the story was short. I did enjoy reading this book but wished 8t were longer and had more conflict.

Entertaining

Delightful and sweet story! After an accident, Katie finds her way to Jake's house. Several things puzzle him about Katie, even without being injured she is to thin and fragile. Jake's protective instinct kicks in and wants to protect and take care of her. Katie doesn't want to accept help for reasons of her own. Van Jake figure out why she doesn't want help when she clearly needs it. Why has she buried her past and who has hurt her?

Good read

I love these books I just admit I started with the rockstar and moved into the sheriff one before going to book one where then I will read in order though there really is no need. There might be a mention of a character from another book but it doesn't mess with any stories. I just wish they where a bit longer then they are but there also perfect for reading when I don't have that much time and i like finishing a book in a day because there so good and addicting.

An accidental meeting

When Katie becomes a victim of a hit-and-run near Jake's house and shows up on his doorstep asking for help, he goes into full Daddy mode. Both of them are attracted but they also have emotional baggage that could come between them and their happiness. A happy ending with a sweet epilogue.

Fate ~

This story had such a traumatic scary start, but luckily, she accidentally found a gentle soul who took care of her. Unfortunately, that wasn’t her only trauma, but, being who he is, helped her the only way he knew how. Fate knew what it was doing, and, I suggest getting and reading the bonus material, that rounds out their life in a way that’s perfect for them.
