Skye Dunbar from Edinburgh is looking to share the American Dream, preferably from atop a rocket. She's come to Colorado to study aeronautical engineering at the University of Colorado. But before her classes begin, she’s grabbed off the sidewalk in downtown Denver. Her da tries to help her, but he’s viciously attacked and left for dead. Skye gets tossed into the back of a pickup owned by two depraved farmers. Before Skye knows it, the truck is out in the middle of a barren wasteland, far from Denver. The kidnappers are taking her to a remote farm on Colorado’s drought-stricken eastern plains. They practice slavery just like in the pre-Civil War South. Worst of all, if Skye gives them any trouble, they'll kill her as casually as if she was a coyote chasing their chickens. Here is a current listing of the books in the Vanished one—Snatched—Amazon ID B07ZHSFSFQBook two—Nicked—Amazon ID B08T5PF2WRBook three—Anointed—Amazon ID B08T6NV52ZBook four—Sliced—Amazon ID B09BWVLWVL.And thanks for reading my books!

Another fast paced, action packed story from the Vanished series. At first, I wasn't going to read this because the blurb about it at the end of book one indicated that it was about the blossoming relationship between the MS's Athena and Beau. While they were both good character, a blossoming relationship between the two of them didn't really appeal to me.

When I'm in the mood for romance, I'll read a proper romance novel. While I don't mind a little romance in my thriller/mysteries, I prefer the story to be heavy on the thriller and light on the romance, which this book delivered. Will be continuing with the series from here on out.

2nd book in this series this week.

A young woman and her family in Denver for a bit of "See America" before she start school to become an aeronautical engineer . Things don't always go as planned. She is kidnapped off the street, he father tired to help but was knocked out and the abductors drove away with Skye. That was JUST the beginning of her nightmare. She finds out she is to be a slave to a very dysfunctional Mother & son,
but she also meet s couple of other SLAVES. Not going to say anymore because I do not want to spil it for you...

Quite an adventure

A made up adventure that could actually be part a today's reality. Cartels, prostitution, kidnappings slave labor, dirty law enforcement. The whole book is a reminder of just how hard this world and our tenuous security snd safety is overtaking our government agencies. Good read. Now on to book three. Oh. BTW thank to all our secret underground cyber tech's for your guidance.

Another fast read

Book 2 in this series was just as fast paced as book 1. Although short stories definitely worth the read. Recommended for thriller readers.

This series will grow old quickly because of the sameness. I probably won't read the next volume.
