Leonardo Loren - a notorious womanizer and feared Alpha. He could have anything and anyone he liked. Until he met Ella. Fiercely independent, strong-willed and hugely unafraid, she was was unique. And she was everything he hated. With a kind heart and an abundance of empathy, Ella is in dismay at the murder and destruction he remorselessly commits. So when she learns she is the mate of such a cruel man, she sets about changing him. Determined not to give him what he craves until he is a better man, she stays true to her fierce nature and resists his attempts to domineer her. But as an Alpha, he is stubborn to change and unwilling to listen to a mere girl, furious that she even dares to question him. So he forces her into his pack and tries to crush her spirit. Twisted games, manipulation, dangerous seduction. No tactic is off the table for Leonardo. But will Ella persevere and thaw his cold heart? Or will she crumble under those dark, handsome eyes like every woman before her?
Rollercoaster. The ending felt rushed. And for a book series this long and as invested as I became, I absolutely expected more for an ending. We all deserve a better ending. Ella, the FMC, Alpha (Leo) Loren’s mate got on my nerves 95% of the book. Alpha Leonardo Loren, MMC, I loved him. If it weren’t for his character growth and his love and devotion to Ella, I probably would not have finished. Luca, the gamma, GREAT side character. Very well written. Hilarious! Loved him. If Ella hadn’t been so fucking annoying and the same type of bullshit occurring over and over and over, i would’ve given it more stars. I ended up hate reading most of book 4 just bc I was so invested I HAD to see the ending. There were some well written parts. I feel like Ellas character never evolved. Maybe like 15%. While Leo’s character totally did. All I gotta say is damn, he’s one patient man. Especially for an Alpha. 3.75⭐️
…And the heroine just keeps loving him anyway, despite absolutely terrible things he does. Murder of men, women, children. Over and over. Kidnapping innocents and holding them till they are savaged by his people. Honestly, since I paid for it, I wanted to get to the end to see him redeem himself, so I skipped a few chapters, (I couldn’t take anymore of the terrible things he kept doing). I really wish I hadn’t bought this.
The Book needs a trigger r*pe warning, as someone who is not even a victim of sexual or domestic abuse, I found some of those scenes stressful to read. When it came towards the end of the book, I skimmed a lot of it to dodge those scenes with Ella and 'whatsaface', I forgot his name ...the South American drug dealer guy.
Ella was super frustrating. What mother in their right mind runs away, leaving their husband with their 8 children, more than once, to 'help' others. One of those children being an infant. She was incredibly selfish and always viewed her morals as superior. Ella was annoying.
The plot did not fall flat, but it was a bit monotonous in the beginning. The constant bickering, pages and pages of pointless circular arguments surrounding the same issues made my eyes roll but the story did eventually gain momentum and develop.
After all the twists and turns in the story, I was super relieved that there was a HEA.

Will admit, there was intruige in the beginning. I like the warewolf and looking for your destined mate trope. I even liked the "ending up with someone you hate" trope. There was some interesting resistance moments. It had some potential.
And then it went sour as main character decides to give up and accept the villain, and later loose all the spark and spine to fit into some meek mummy role. Instead of challenging things, it went the route of acceptance, everyone including victims ready to apologize for the irridimable villain.
So it's problematic writing. There's an attempt to blend happy family cliche's with psykopathich/remorseless kidnapper murder rapist, and it doesn't work. It's cringe and problematic.
What I can see is the author probably had fun with writing the story. So that's at least something.
I got to chapter 25 and I couldn’t, I just couldn’t anymore.
Funny thing is, it wasn’t the fact that Leo was a complete violent jackass, that killed it for me. It was Ella.
She supposedly was this strong natured, non-pushover wolf. And she was going to hold her ground, because she knew Leo was a bad guy. But every time she saw or heard of something awful he did she caved.
I could not put this book down. Although originally, I started reading this on Galatea, I finished reading 4th book, and was wishing for more. That is when I stumbled on the complete series on Amazon with the 5th book. Oh, it was everything I was hoping for. Could there be another book in the works about Cato and Jess, and Elias?
Not a bad read of bad guy turning good. The notorious Alpha that has habitually been a terror and lead through fear amongst his pack is educated by his mate who has spent her life in a more human environment about the role of women and how to lead through respect rather than fear. Lots of fast paced action more baddies than a typical marvel storyline but still has you gripped. Now for book 2
Ooo this was a good one! It had story and depth and character building and explanations! Leo and Ella are definitely not the typical, fated mate, instant love couple! Ella was raised differently than the most werewolves and has the personality to question her mate at every turn because she wants him to be better. I absolutely love a strong FMC who fights for what she believes in! 💪🏻
All the challenges they had to go through as a couple was absolute insanity 😅😣 but dang it sure was a great story and I cant wait to see what happens next!

I received an unlimited one year subscription for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I had to change the version to the Kindle Edition to ensure I was rating it based on the Complete Series.
This was a really good series to read. In Book 1, I loved the banter and love/hate relationship of Ella and Leo. Leo is dominating and Ella is headstrong. In Book 2, I was done when Ella left her babies but by the end, I was back on Team Ella. That girl had a death wish! Anyway, Book 3 brought back her brother who left because he couldn't stand Leo and long lost dad she thought was dead. Book 4 was probably the best with Andrea who was like Mexican Cartel?? There was so much drama, growth, and growth from all of the events that happened between Ella and Andrea. I'm truly trying not to spoil it for others.
Kept me entertained enough to DNF but it was incredibly hard. The FMC is annoying af for a good portion of the book. There was frustration at every turn but it kept m attention long enough to find out the ending of book one. Thankfully, no cliff hanger or real description into the next book so no need to continue the series. I liked the overall point but it was way too long and did not need the excessive use of bad situations throughout the book.
It was a good book but needs lots of rereading and editing. Lots of errors but you can guess and get past them. Glad Leo had. Change in the end.. undecided if I’ll read the sequels as hiNovel is pricy but would of they were available on standard kindle
