Hired by a friend to discover whether their child is really their child, January and Ari delve into the Mystic Woods, looking for the answer. Their investigation leads them down the rabbit hole of magical intrigue, unrequited love, and into the world of the Woodlings, where January finds her worldview at risk, as well as her life.

I love this series. Out of all the series that Yasmine Galenorn writes this is my favorite. It's creepy and has great characters. I loved the crossover with the Whisper Hollow series in this one.
Another solid installment in this series. Certain plot points felt a little rushed, but aside from that, I loved it! There’s something really special about January and the rest of the town.
January is settling more into her life in Moonshadow Bay and is finding joy again with friends, family, and her job at Conjure Ink. As she awaits to face with the Aseer to see where her magical strengths are, she finds secrets that are buried in her family history around d her great-grandmother Colleen and a long-lost child. Then when she and Ari take on a private case, they find it too big for them to handle and ask in Conjure Ink to help them out in solving the riddle that is around a child who may not be a child. As January investigates, she finds herself being led to the woodlings and magical intrigue. With danger coming for them, January finds herself determined to help solve this case and figure out answers even as she finds her own world view changing the more, she learns about the magical world she lives in.
WOW is all I can say, and I am going to not mention that easter egg that is hidden in the third book because that alone had me going ‘OMG!!” out loud in delight and shock. Ms. Galenorn is on my auto-buy regardless of what she writes because I just adore her books and with this third book in her new paranormal women’s fiction series, Moonshadow Bay, we get a story that is complex, mysterious, and more within its pages plus a few twists I sure didn’t see coming. If you read books one and two (Starlight Web and Midnight Web) then you are familiar with January and how she moved to Moonshadow Bay. If you haven’t then I highly recommend reading those first two books before CONJURE WEB as it leads into this one. I love January to pieces. She is older, more mature and I can relate to her and her travels as she navigates life as a divorce and picks up the pieces of a shattered marriage. What really intrigued me was how much she grew as a character between all three books the reader sees how she continues to find her strength and self-esteem again. Add in magical mysteries and secondary characters that keep the story rolling along nicely and all that combined is my catnip, so to speak.
Ms. Galenorn’ and I am extremely impressed at how she continues to expand Moonshadow Bay while also introducing some new characters to discover, a few old ones to know more of and a place that makes me want to yell ‘ROAD TRIP’ just to visit. The characters are so different and unique but also independent which lets me enjoy all their personalities immensely and I love how beautifully written they are. With a story that flows seamlessly from start to finish, the reader is taken on a journey that will leave you spellbound. So, sit back, take a load off and settle in as January finds herself once again in the thick of things as a new case and family secrets come together to give her answers and more in CONJURE WEB. Now all I am anxious is now book four, Harvest Web to get here so I can see what else is in store for the gang in Moonshadow Bay.
This is an objective review and not an endorsement.
I totally enjoyed this third book in this series. Every book gets better and better and January is a fabulous character to read about.
In this one, January and Ari get a case for their side business, but it's soon very clear that this job is bigger than they can handle and call in reinforcements from Conjure Ink, the paranormal investigation company January works for. Their investigation into a possible Changeling takes them deeper into the Mystic Wood and the Woodlings that live there.
On a personal side January's relationship with Killian is heating up and getting more serious and when his sister arrives for a visit, January is worried that Tally might not like her. January also finds out more about his family history and is often left wondering why she gave up her magic for her ex.
And that nasty ex makes a bit of a come back too, but January has had enough of him and his narcissistic ways and soon sends him packing with a bit of help from Killian! She is so much better out of that relationship but it just seems like Ellison can't give her up yet, even though everything that has happened was his fault!
This series is a great one and I love seeing how January approaches all the situations she comes across. She's not a new witch by any means, but she still has so much to learn and I love reading about her magical journey! So looking forward to the next one!
A fair reading at best. Zoey and Tabitha’s “relationship “ was rough due to the changling being substituted for the human child Elsbet and Zera will hopefully live out their days on the other side of the peninsula. Peggin was a character that was strange in many ways. Her association to Ari even more so. Her Aphrodite aura was a bit much and not liked by January. Ellison, the ex, showed his true self - a jerk! Thank the “gods,” as January might have said, that Killian showed up. Though she could most likely have taken Ellison down. Ari nearly lost Meagan due to Meagan’s mom claiming to ruin Ari if she tried to go through with the wedding. Tally was a truly likable character and hopefully will be in more future books. Caitlin was disowned! What a crock of yuck! Maybe Tad will step up now. January discovered her true magic with the Aseer. Not a great read, but not a bad one either. Would I recommend this book? Only because of Ari and Killian, yes.
Another great paranormal mystery solved by January and her pals! I love that this mystery series mixes up what the mysteries are and not always another dead body. The main character, January, is an older (ugh, I hate to call her that, but she's not a 20something so older it is) person as she has hit the 40 mark! Divorced and starting life over in her hometown as a paranormal sleuth and mystery solver. While she is a witch with latent skills, she has a crew of normal humans, witches and shifters who are a part of her inner circle of friends and family including a very handsome wolf shifter significant other. The books are well plotted and written with great dialogue and realistic reactions to events and emotions. I love the audiobook version of the books as the narrator does an outstanding job of bringing each character to life as well as enhancing the plot. I would recommend reading in order as each book builds upon the last to make the characters, town, relationships and more all have a more significant depth and a deeper connection to the reader!
I've never met a Yasmine Galenorn book I didn't fall into and never wanted to leave, and Conjure Web is no different. January Jaxon's world is shifting ~ she's divorced from her cheating ex, and is moving on with life after losing both parents. She's tamped down her powers for almost two decades, and now is freeing herself. She has a sexy boyfriend in Killian, her wolf shifting next door neighbor, and her BFF Ari, aunt Teran, and grandmother Rowan Firesong to help her and her workmates at Conjure Ink to combat the forces at play. I love everything about this book and series, which was received as a gift from the author with no expectations. There is a reason Yasmine is a force in this field... Pick up a book and dive into the energy that is hers alone.
If you are a reader of Galenorn's books, then you know a cross over has never been done, until now. Without spoiling anything I will just say if this series is you introduction to her books, pick up her other series, especially the one that I mentioned in this book. There is going to be more cross overs for these characters in the future. This story had some heart felt moments, of love, motherhood, and family. The different words that can tie so many people together in good ways and bad. January's journey in this book is evolving as she investigates a missing child, her family's past, and her own relationship. So much character building in this book. I will eagerly await the next book.
I loved this book. Moonshadow Bay is an amazing place to get lost in, and this story is made even better with the crossover with Whisper Hollow (another series I love to the moon and back). I was almost shrieking aloud with delight at the appearance of one of my favorite characters from WH, and forging a connection between January and WH is perfect. The darker aesthetic of these series just resonates with me. In this book, January learns more about who she is and about just how deep her connection to the woodlands is, and the whole story is magical and engaging from beginning to end.b
Well January is in for a lot in this one. Taking the case of a "missing" child, diving into her heritage, and meeting her love's sister.. she's a busy lady. Her best friend, Ari, and her take a case of a "missing" child, the mother is sure the child she has isn't hers. And in helping the mother January comes into contact with Woodlings and the Mystic Woods. Hopefully her, Ari, and the team at Conjure Inc. can help the mom. And while this is going on, she meets Tally, Killian's sister. Tally came into town to visit her brother, check out January, and maybe get some healing from an accident. Was a great book, an amazing installment of the Moonshadow Bay series.
This third installment of the series about January Jaxson and Moonshadow Bay is absolutely wonderful. It's everything I've grown to love about books written by Yasmine Galenorn. There is so much promise of excitement of future events to be seen in upcoming continuation that blends in well with the intriguing plot of this book. There's so much magic to be found here. I look forward to reading more from this author and this series.
This was an excellent story, and it was a treat to have Peggin show up (and hint at a possible crossover between this series and the Whisper Hollow series, since that one seems to be on indefinite hiatus), but I could have sworn that Peggin decided to stop carrying her handgun after events of the second Whisper Hollow book. Other than that little discrepancy, I’m eager to see where this series will go.

Man! January has joined my favorite heroins of the worlds of Galenorn. Her love grows, as does her self worth with every page turned. A jaunt into the woods finding keys and portals, and creatures u only dream about, but aren’t as pretty as they look. Secrets being uncovered, oh!!! The stories that will come!! And Killian, my my my, who wouldn’t want a taste of that man?! Just wait for the surprise tho. Big one!!! Must read read read!!!
I very much am enjoying this Series, MC is a woman who is from a witch family with strong magic, who went off to college and married a human. Years later after the divorce and her returning to her home town she is making a life for herself and trying to learn more about her magic after not using it for 18 yrs. Narrator does a Great job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline.
When I discovered the Easter egg that has been mentioned by Ms Galenorn I immediately squealed (silently...don't want to wake sleeping hubby!). I'm totally ecstatic as to what it will for January and her friends. I couldn't put it down and read through it in under 3 hours...bravo! I loved it and I am loving January Jason!
The 3rd installment of Galenorn's Moonshadow Bay series remained intriguing and enjoyable.
January Jaxson is growing as a character with each new story. This book moves her new relationship further along and brings a resolution of the naming of her elemental type. Loved the crossover from another series, and actually hope to see more of this going forward.
Yes!!! Oh I do like this series!! I love January!! I love the world she is in, the characters who inhabit this world and the story. What can I say? I'm a sucker for a good story, a fabulous main female character and a cast of great supporting characters that are more than just vaguely sketched in. This series just gets better as it goes along.
Omg... Conjure Web is amazing! I love how intricate this storyline is weaving it's web. I love where January's relationship with Killian is going and introducing his sister. In the next book I can't wait to hear what Rowen has to say to January. There is so much more to come with this series!
This book was beyond fantastic. It is an amazing continuation of where book 2 ends off. It moves along at a great pace which makes for a great read. The characters are amazing and you cannot help but love them and you want to be there for them, no matter what may happen. This book is fantastic and needs to be on your TBR list, there is no doubt about it.
Books. The novel is not really meaty enough or to be a stand alone book. It is more of a fleshing out of characters and connections and foreshadowing of future stories. Its not a bad book, there is much groundwork prepared but it left an incomplete and vaguely unsatisfying feeling.
Another great read from Yasmine Galenorn, I'm really enjoying January's journey of self discovery in a personal and magical way, this book she finds out more about her magic and how she fits in with the witchblood community. It's great that she's surrounded my family, friends and new love and of course her kittens. On to book 4 for me.
It's for our heroine to come into her own magic. The past is best left in the past & the present and future focused on. We learn more about her family and how her family has shaped Moonshadow Bay. Our heroine is looking forward to her place in the ever changing landscape of home.
Another hit out of the ballpark for Yasmine Galenorn!
I found myself completely enthralled by this story, and I had trouble putting it down! I just love how Yasmine Galenorn captures the reader's attention right away! She certainly doesn't mess around! I just can't wait to see what the book in this series has in store for her loyal fans!! Highly recommend!!
Galenorn does it again. She has such a great way with storytelling. I loved this book! January & Killian are awesome together. January group grows stronger and wider and I'm loving all the characters, except the ex, but then I love how Galenorn handles him too!!!!
Yes, this was a lesson in good versus bad magic. I enjoyed reading every book. Ty Yasmine. Keep writing, I would love to read another adventure of these group of witches. Jillian has finally found a good and true mate, eventhough, she is not a wolf shifter. Yay!!
I love January and her friends and family. As the characters continue to grow and flesh themselves out more the stories themselves are page turning. Looking forward to the next addition.
This whole series is good and this book is no exception. The heroine is strong and smart, but the beta hero is not really filled in. He's a bit of blank page. I'd like to see more of him, but he has his own stuff and I liked that he and January aren't joined at the hip.
I thoroughly enjoyed this third book in the series. The characters are blossoming just like January’s magic. I couldn’t put this book down through all the twists and turns and surprises. Can’t wait for the next in the series.
It's refreshing to read a story where there are actual adults making sensible decisions with the information they have but still have twists and turns and drama that makes you keep coming back for more.
Want something different to read? Try Conjure Web by Yasmine Galenorn. A wonderful roller coaster of a read in her newest series known as Moonshadow Bay.
