Ilona Andrews is the pseudonym for a husband-and-wife writing team. Ilona is a native-born Russian and Gordon is a former communications sergeant in the U.S. Army. Contrary to popular belief, Gordon was never an intelligence officer with a license to kill, and Ilona was never the mysterious Russian spy who seduced him. They met in college, in English Composition 101, where Ilona got a better grade. (Gordon is still sore about that.)
Gordon and Ilona currently reside in Oregon with their two children, three dogs and a cat. They have co-authored two series, the bestselling urban fantasy of Kate Daniels and romantic urban fantasy of The Edge.
It's 2024........ It's FREAKING 2024 AND THIS BOOK ISN'T OUT YET!?! . . 28 January 2021 Sooo....it's coming out this year, right? We aren't going to wait...like Iron and Magic three years or more right?
I need this book like air!!!!!!! The wait is killing me, same as with Hugh's second book 😭 These books give me LIFE, and I'm drowning at the moment in mediocrity. HELP!!!!
can they still write. we have been promised books but no books coming out. " the world is to dark" when is the world not a bad dark. as much as I love their books nothing seems to be coming out of them. losing my faith in them.

how long we have to wait for this girl It's been two years since the release of the book 1 im literally dying!!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
we got kate again this year but no Julie??? D: I love kate but now it's supposed to be julie's time and not her mother again at least a synopsis will be good to raise hope that's coming out sometime in the future.
Ever since I read Blood Heir I get at least once a month this overwhelming and all-consuming need to read this book that knocks me off my feet (tho now three years later I'll be content with just news about it)
I want to the more of Aurielia (Julie) and friends. I want to know what is happening with the pack, what is going on with Ascanio, what is happening with Sienna? The first book ended on a definite cliff hanger. I love the authors, I love pretty much everything they ever wrote, but this is the last time I buy a book of theirs that is in an incomplete series. I could have walked away from the world after Magic Triumphs, and been ok and happy. Cliffhangers are like a persistent itch in the back of my head, and I'm beginning to get a strong feeling that this cliffhanger and the cliffhanger to Iron and Magic will never be resolved. It would be a kindness to your readers, if you aren't sure that you are going to finish a series, if you would please write an ending in the book.
So...? Have they scrapped this series or something? It's been 3 years since the first book came out and no word on if they're even writing the second...
Can somebody go to one of her convention things/meet and Greet or whatever it’s called, and ask her about this series? Cause a series that was started after this is near completion and yet here we are still on 1st book.
2025- RIP to when the last book of this series was released, 2021.🪦 Its predecessor made it to #2 of the bestsellers list, and we were told 2 more would be coming. We waited 4 years and while other books and projects were completed and released consistently -this series, alas, was not.😔 It is now 2025 👵 I’m writing this as a space for others who loved Derek and Julie’s love story to have a moment of silence in remembrance of it. 🙏 I want this book as badly as I wish I could be less petty. But we have no book and I…. am afraid I am a petty person 😩 While it is a burden to let the public see my typed tantrum, it is a cross I am willing to bear for the sake of the memory of this book that was never released.. Am I going to say “In the past four years, couldn’t we have already finished the other two books?” No, I will not say that, but I will silently think it. In the time that it has taken in the past 4 years I graduated with my degree and opened my own small business. Many things have happened in all of our lives. Time is fleeting, I can only imagine what else will happen in the lives of all of the readers who are longing and waiting for this book in the meantime. Will we be able to read it before our future children graduate from college? Will we have to request a copy from the nursing home aide to bring to our bedside in hopes that our old eyes can still see? At this time, we don’t know. 😔 But since the saltiness of being forgotten is still sharp on my tongue, I will come back every year to reread this book. And perhaps I will update a new tantrum every year in protest of Derek and Julie’s story was forgotten. Until we meet again, may the odds ever be in your favor. ☘️ RIP to the story of Aurelia Ryder and Derrick Argent, may you be remembered and never forgotten 🕯️ … Oh Wait.. you were. 😒
