The Adventures of Arséne Lupin, The Final Collection, 5 Books in 1: Arséne Lupin, Gentleman-Burglar; Arséne Lupin VS Sherlock Holmes; Arséne Lupin; The Confessions of Arséne Lupin; The Golden Triangle
Maurice Leblanc (1864 - 1941) was a French novelist, best known as the creator of gentleman thief (later detective) Arsène Lupin.
Leblanc began as a journalist, until he was asked to write a short story filler, and created, more gallant and dashing than English counterpart Sherlock Holmes.
I've heard of Arsene Lupin for years, but finally had a chance to read the stories. I loved the Sherlock Holmes stories and would love to see more stories with thosd two, even if they're pastiches.
This a review for the golden triangle, and I thought jt was very good. This series constantly amazes me as I read on. .This story has Lupin and his new friend solving many mysteries. Although some of them breaks off in the middle, the ones that are really from start to end are so good to read. Lupin is a smart character, but as I have said in other reviews, is not OP smart like Sherlock Holmes, because he does encounter some danger and cannot just deduct something in s split second like Holmes can do, making it monotonous. No, Aresene Lupin is perfect.
