────────── AM I WRITING A REVIEW FOR THE SECOND PART AS WELL? Yes, yes the fuck I am. Honestly people, just read the books at this point. I mean come on, you can read it as a stand-alone instead of a fanfiction, what more do you want?! Alayla, I'm looking at you smh 🙄🤚🏽. One note, you actually don't need to read this book! It's not like a necessity, so you could just ignore it if you prefer the ending how it was.

This book legit took my already crushed heart, smashed it into a paste, and then molded it back again. I was near tears the entire book I actually don't remember but I'm pretty sure I wasn't, but you get what I mean smh and fresh from the heartbreak of the first one.

It was so... beautiful. Like I can't even explain it. I remember even less of this book than the first one, but god it felt like... like. Ugh, oh my god. I loved this duology so much, I can't even describe it. It made me want to write a fanfiction of my own. I didn't cry in this book, but it constantly ripped my heart out, multiple time. Honestly, it wasn't even the sad parts that made me sad, it was the small things, the paralells. "No stars", I cried 😭🤚🏽.

Oh. My. god. I swear, this book hurt even more than the first one. I don't know why. Like, like. UGH! When she found the letter I swear we were all sobbing in the comments and cursing her out to remember everything. And she read it multiple times. And when we found out that it was her mom and Draco's parents? Straight up fuming, I swear. I'm so mad at her for not pushing on her mom more but maybe that's just the Indian in me, but at the same time it showed how she.. felt? Not sure how to describe it. HER MEETING WITH GINNY OMG>>>>>. I'll be honest, Ginny and I had a love-hate relationship in the first book but then she grew on me so hard in the second one. THIS GIRL WAS CAPTAIN OF THE SHIP IN THE SECOND ONE, IFLYH This book was the salt on the wounds, I could not. THE ENDING? OUR HEARTS WERE SATISFIED AND BATTERED 😭🫶🏽

She was so... raw... in this book. I honestly loved it. It's true that she got on my last fucking nerves at times but she owns my heart honestly. I don't know, I just adored her, don't ask.

You know I really do love this book, but the reason I’m giving it three stars is for three main reasons. 1. Like many other great books out there that get a book two, it didn’t live up to the hype like the first one. I did hear that the author made the second one because she felt bad for people when they told her about how they felt with the first books ending. As much as the first book made me cry, I feel like the ending was good as it was. Not saying I love the dynamic of the second book, because I do, but I feel like if it was left as it was it would be fine. 2. Making people hate characters who didn’t need to be hated. Isobelles mother was obviously a main part of book two, but I feel like we had to think of her one way in the first one and then we thought of her another way in the second book. I do love the story arc but maybe it was unnecessary for us to dislike her decisions. 3. Not like the first one. The second book had characters who didn’t support them (Draco and Isobelle) in the first one like them in the second book. Example; Ginny. She hated them together I’m the first one, but al the sudden she supports it and even tries to help.

Over all the second book was ok (so far) not sure if the chapters are still being uploaded or if it’s over but I stopped reading around chapter 20. If you don’t want to be annoyed then don’t read the second one. But if you truly didn’t like the ending then read it. The writing is still pretty good! The authors writing has always been good and that’s always been clear!

this got one star more than the first part because even though in the first part were more couple scenes i feel like in the second part there was more of an actual story. i also really liked the writing style from the author and even though its a literal fanfic i still think it was pretty well written! I liked almost every character (except the obvious like lucius and i also didn’t like maggy/maggie? ) This was the second or third time reading it for me and i remember when i first read it i was in tears reading some scenes. Like full on cry face. Now reading it for the second (or third??) time it wasn’t like that maybe because of my circumstances maybe idk why. But still i really liked the story!
But since this book wasn’t really my favourite favourite book it only got 4 stars. Maybe i just had too high expectations for the books because i haven’t read these books in a long time and i literally praised them.
So overall i recommend reading this book when you are in your draco malfoy phase (which i believe everyone has at some point). But reading it when you’re not in your draco phase i don’t recommend that much because it just doesn’t give you these specific feelings which i had when i first read it. And i think while reading this fanfic everyone should experience these feelings! (with these feelings i mean full cry face if you don’t know)

i like this book so much more than the first. in many ways, it is so much more grey and mature — the writing, the setting, the characters and the life they had. it contrasted with the childish themes in the first book, which i appreciate a lot. the writing is so so good, one of the few that i actually do like (among famous fanfiction writers). still, it’s not the best, but it’s not bad. i will admit though, i do not like the ending. it feels a bit rushed, and wrong. i feel like the story stretched parts of the plot that it really shouldn’t have. either way, i liked it — but to me it’s not so phenomenal.

I cried so many happy tears 😭🫶🏻

I read Dear Draco pt 1 two years ago and never read this one, so reading part 2 was like filling a hole in my heart I didn’t know needed to be filled (cheesy, ik). But these two books just destroy me entirely and then rebuilt me. I absolutely love part 2 and literally couldn’t put it down. The writing is amazing and keeps me interested; the short chapters are a huge plus.

I’m not even a fan of anything to do with Draco if it doesn’t involve Hermione. However, this book changed that for me and Belly is the only exception 🙃 their story is unmatched. 🫶🏻

I will now forever be thinking about this story because

THEY GOT THEIR COTTAGE ON THE BEACH WITH THE WINDOW AND THE BLANKETS AND THE RAIN !!! 😭🫶🏻

El ambiente de este libro es muy diferente al del primero. Quiero decir que tuve muchas emociones encontradas al leerlo y en parte me gustó que la autora se tomara el tiempo necesario para que los sucesos se desarrollaran bien. Y aunque me hizo sufrir por el hecho de que Draco y ella jamás se encontraban, la verdad es que valió la pena.

Lo único que no me gusto es que al final ninguno de ellos recuerda su pasado tal y como era y ahora todo es diferente, yo se que fue un final realista, en parte, pero aún así no me gustó eso, sino le hubiera dado 5 estrellas.

Muy bonita historia, aunque muy triste :(🩷

I liked this fic way more than I thought I would. That being said, I am a Dramione girl through and through so reading this felt a little like cheating.

On the character of Belly, I did end up enjoying her and thought her dynamic with Draco was sweet but I will always prefer Draco with Hermione. Not sure why the author invented a new character for this fic but it's her right to do so. No hate from me.

Just be warned this is NOT a Dramione story. And TBH, I really wish it was because the story idea imo would have worked even better by substituting Hermione into the Belly role.

But, hey to each their own. Still a very enjoyable story.

Creo que estoy re heartbroken pero no solo de este dear draco si no también del anterior. Esta historia es demasiado hermosa y literal estaba sufriendo por todo lo que sucedía, y todo es tan sweet (lo bueno es que nunca llega a ser corny) y moriria por leerlo por primera vez y gritar y llorar y no saber que va a pasar. Y esperar los viernes de todas las semanas para el new chapter 😭 Es el end of an era literal. Por fin tuvieron su happy ending, y no puedo con draco lo amo. Ana gracias por escribí esto ilysm <3

This book broke me in ways I didn't know existed. Until the last chapter I didn't know if it was gonna be a happy ending. it was a mixed ending, still happy i'll take it. The parallels and deja vus are gut wrenching and the way the author talks about how they feel was just heart shattering.Pt2 was was better than Pt1 in my opinion. But all that's meant to be good will be good.
