Technically this most excellent taboo novella is a re-read for me. I first read it in Another Family Affair Anthology. So when I bought some of the author's paperbacks and saw this as a standalone, I one-clicked and jumped right in; I wish it were available in a paperback.
After their father had left, Aston, the older brother, raised his twin siblings, Sean and Sonea. Sean and Sonea are both off to separate colleges and are coming home for the holidays. After an “incident” during the summer, Seneca has made excuses not to go home until now. She is nervous and afraid of what Aston thinks of the incident.
There’s a wrongness within me, something that can’t be cured or erased. It runs deeper than my skin and has spread like poison through my mind.

Words Alone can not explain how hot this book is. I love how the author added voyeurism into the mix. And Aston, my god. 🥵when goes in, goes in deep and hard,
I love the authors writing style. My only complaint is I was left wanting more.

Gosh, at first I was like 'wtf is this?' and 'they can't really be related, can they?'
Then, I found out this was previously a part of Another Family Affair Anthology... and it all made sense.
The verdict: shocking. And pretty much crazy dirty. But what can I say, I knew what I was getting into.

I first read this story in Another Family Affair Anthology and it was one of my favorites. I decided to pick this up and read it again since the author released it by itself on Amazon.
The storyline didn’t have anything extra added or changed but mannnnn it is still so good the second time around. Sean and Sonia are twin brother and sister and their older brother by 5 years, Aston, has been taking care of them for the past 8 years - ever since they were 13 and their dad just up and left them all.
Everything was fine until Sonea walked in on Aston in the shower one day... and she did some naughty things while watching. They kind of ignored it for the 5 months that followed, but Sonea is home from college again. And neither her or Aston can forget what happened even though they try.
Sean comes home a few days later and while he’s sleeping, Aston and Sonea give in to their desires. But Sean hears them and wakes up and decides to record them because he likes what he sees. The next day Sonea catches him with the video... and it all spirals from there. The 3 get down and dirty and oh man is it hot.
I seriously wish this were longer because I absolutely loved the 3 of them. 🔥🔥🔥
This is definitely a 5⭐️ read for me. I looooove taboo and this one just makes my dirty mind super happy.

i was not expecting to like this story as much as i did. it was filled to the brim with angst, suspense and loads of smut which i devoured. although this story was EXTREMELY taboo, i enjoyed it nonetheless and definitely do not recommend anyone below 18 to read this as it consists of very mature themes. Ally Vance is a great writer as i’ve loved some of her other work such as the Midnight Bite Series. like i said, this book was definitely a high ranking book for me yet for some reason, i can’t even tell why.

This was super hot! 🔥🔥🔥 My one and only complaint is that it wasn’t long enough. I could have read about this trio of characters for another 200 pages. I don’t buy books anymore, but I had to buy this one.

It was eh. There's a very quick summary of how each character ended up in the situation. There are only 2 seggs scenes, and even those are done in a blink of an eye. That's it. The description of the book already tells you everything. Save yourself the time.

I have mixed feelings about this one. I enjoyed it and it had a lot of things I liked but the ending lost it a little for me. It definitely could have benefitted from being longer
The pacing was a little weird, it spent a lot of time on the ‘will they, won’t they’ with the girl and her older brother and it felt like the MMF aspect was shoehorned in at the end.
There’s really nothing to indicate the brothers are into each other before he is literally just going to town on him.
It just felt odd given the time dedicated to the build up between Sonea and Aston or even the significantly less but still existent buildup between Sonea and Sean. If anything it seemed like there was jealousy happening between the two guys. The ending was super abrupt and because a lot of the story focused on the buildup to Sonea and Aston getting together, there was not as much spice as I would have expected. But given how short it is, I appreciated the buildup of tension, and the time spent on the characters and enjoyed reading it.

Yes, this is as lovesick as you can get. What starts as a guardian for his twin siblings for many years, starts into something more, very more.
I enjoyed the writing style. It was easy to read and I enjoyed how easy it was to click each page on my Kindle. I was on the rollercoaster for where this was going and just like a car crash, it went where it went and you just couldn't look away.

This was my first glimpse into Ally’s work and was so ecstatic to find out this hot, forbidden, taboo romance is a MMF short story. Coterie was my favorite out of the Another Family Affair anthology and is well worth a reread. Download this book right now if you’re looking for a quick angsty read filled with longing and desire.

Technically a 3.5 it felt too rushed to really dive into the possessive incest aspect I wished it were a tiny bit longer and detailed but overall it was enjoyable for what it was. I adore Sean. This was so hot.

If you need a short super taboo but spicy read its definitely going to give you the quick fix your darker heart needs. Not step siblings but 3 full siblings 😏 i was definetly say thinking i shouldn't be reading this, oh wait no i love it haha im sure one day i will come across a dark or taboo trope i cant handle but today is not the day!

Mais a onde tudo mudou? Será que não aconteceu uma síndrome de Édipo com os gêmeos? Afinal o Aston estava sempre na posição de pai do que de irmão. Sendo que o gêmeo ser identificava Bi, é a gêmea sabia que era imoral mas não ser assustou com os próprios sentimentos. Mas oque mudou pro Aston? Oque aconteceu? O desejo falou mas alto que a moral e conciencia sim, mas ele ser culpa e luta muito para evita o inevitável para eles. E ele não ficou assutado ou chocado quando achou os gêmeos no quarto, era como ser ele soubesse.
