As an artist and writer, Trondheim has earned an international following as one of the most inventive, versatile, and prolific graphic authors. His work has won numerous awards, including the Angoulême prize for best series with McConey and he also co-created the titanic fantasy epic Dungeon with Joann Sfar.

He is one of the founding members of the alternative publishing house L'Association, a proving ground for many of the greatest talents in European comics working today. He is also the editorial director of a new imprint called Shampooing, dedicated to comics for all ages.

Lewis lives in the South of France with his wife, Brigitte Findakly, and two children.

Lapinot y Richard (junto con Titi, su compañero habitual en la serie original) viven una aventura rocambolesca llena de momentos surrealistas y humor absurdo. Vamos, lo tradicional en la serie. Se puede decir que este álbum es un poco una vuelta a los orígenes porque es el que más recuerda a lo que eran "Las fabulosas aventuras de Lapinot". Muy divertido.

Lapinot, égal à lui-même. Il ne fait rien de spécial et le monde bascule dans l’absurde autour de lui. C’est toujours à un cheveu de la normalité, mais toujours un pied dans le dingo. Trondheim a du genie.

Cette BD commence avec une planche que je trouve juste "culte", du type de ces planches qui marquent et dont je me rappellerait longtemps. Triste, drôle et plein de choses à la fois. Un beau résumé en quelques cases.
Ensuite, le héros part se mettre au vert pour trouver la tranquillité, mais c'est sans compter un météorite qui vient lui gâcher la vie.
Fun, de l'aventure, des retournements de situation, de la folie, bref un bien bel épisode de Lapinot dans une histoire complète de 44 pages que l'on dévore avec grand plaisir.

This one is not as funny as some others. The story is still very good and funny, but the regular, small jokes are a bit rarer than especially the previous book.
