My plan was simple. Flawless. Pack light, drive cross-country to California, and settle into my brand new job. No distractions, no detours. No problems. But then she waltzed into my life with her jingling bracelets and wild clover perfume turning my simple into complicated in the blink of an eye. She was unpredictable. A distraction. She was the detour I had no time to take. The problem I had no business solving. Despite all my efforts, she managed to get under my skin, and into my heart. All it took was one flash of her sunshine smile for me to know that I was completely and utterly screwed.
Eva LeNoir lives in France with her husband, two sons and the entire food chain in pets: From fish to gerbils to cats and a dog. With a full-time job that pays the bills, she reserves all of her free time doing what she loves most: Writing. Eva likes teasing her husband that she should have married a billionaire so she could stay home and write all day. But then he makes her laugh at his silly antics and all dreams of lavish lifestyles evaporate from her mind.
A softie at heart, Eva can be seen crying whenever anything emotional is on TV or the radio. Yes, even commercials. So, if ever you meet her, make sure to bring a box of tissues and a good episode of Grey's Anatomy to witness the epic tear fest.
There are three things she believes unconditionally: Love really does conquer all, Humans are still inherently good and Wine and Cheese will solve all the problems of the world.
Eva writes, "Hang on baby, we're about to fly high" and boy what a flight of fantastic love this book turned out to be!!! It is so refreshing and un-cheesy ride that Eva takes us on. Thoroughly enjoyable, rib-tickling Rom-com which had me laughing from the first page to the last. Unputdownable read and my cherry popper from Eva too! Her humour is very perky and refined. None of those oft repeated lines you see all over. I could feel the sun on my skin and fresh air in my heart, so robust and alive is her prose. And there plenty of sexy times, panty-moistening, heavy breathing and dirty talking romps to fill the conversation voids.
"We kissed like teenagers overcome by their hormones. We kissed like the night was our last. We kissed like lovers seeking out their overwhelming passion." The predominantly Male POV was very stimulating cuz you rarely find well written male perspectives. It starts as fairly simple and forthright road adventure. What should have been a straight ride from NC to LA just deviates and detours at the whims of a hitchhiker love, steered second handedly by the heart.
"We were falling in love with the freedom of the road and what we thought we knew about each other. Not with the reality of our true selves." It's set in The hugely popular Driven world of CDE- Colton Donovan Enterprise. He is still as magnetic and majestic as ever. #OhAce 🥰 Dylan Wolfe Gomez is somewhat silent, somewhat broody, a whole lot of sensible, focused guy. He's got his life path laid out in front of him. Pack up, get in classic 67 Mustang (Candy) and drive to LA to join his new job and settle in his new home. But all his carefully laid out planning gets battered with a ram, who's as delicate as jingling anklet and as potent as wild clover.this Parfum wearing hippie, boho chick standing on the side of the road with her thumb up and guitar in hand is going to be the biggest surprise in his life. Lily Steele totally hijacks his trip, his music, his senses and ultimately his life.
"I couldn’t believe I had thought this breezy, hippie-like free spirit was an innocent flower needing my protection. She was a witch, casting her sexual spells on my dick and doing whatever she pleased with it." She's quirky, weird, straight- jacket wearing connoisseur, crazy diner girl who has an agenda of her own and almost bullies Dylan into dancing to her tune, even though she's tone deaf herself😆
Flowery, fluffy, popcorn-ish story with a huge heart and huge beaming smiles. There's a mighty twist towards the end that had me gasping...Oh Emm geeee, tee-hee😁 Pick. Up.this.book when it releases.trust me,you'll laugh and smile throughout!! 5 stars for Roadies with Benefits Follow me on: Email🌻 Bookbub 🌻 Twitter🌻 Instagram🌻 Blog🌻 Facebook🌻 Amazon 🌻
Oh my days, what a read. I mean who doesn't love a dark, brooding, alpha male?!
Dylan is just the type of guy you wish you could meet at and take you on a road trip across the USA. Eva's words create a real person with depth and layers you want to peel away. He's an alpha but like most he is a softie at heart not that he was ever planning on love or anything messing with his plan... dude has OCD for sure.
Lily or Tinker, is one lost soul who lacks self belief and confidence in her whole self. She is a twin but is pushed into the shadows by her other half and feels inferior but she is soooooo much more than that and Dylan sees her. Lily is on a road trip of self discovery and happens to come across her HEA over a buger.
"Don't fall in love with me Virgo" is the biggest lie Lily tells Dylan and ultimately herself.
A burger and hitch hiking are the beginning of change and growth. A drunken night in Vegas changes everything and a truth that's been ignored must be confronted.
A brilliant read, a fabulous story line and characters as real as people! I want to be Lilys BFF and hell I'd be Tinker to get a Dylan!

Screwed by Eva LeNoir is set in the K Bromberg world of Driven. A cross country road trip, taken by a pair of strangers soon turns into a humorous boy meets girl love story. This book had me intrigued early on. Like our leading man I was constantly questioning, who this girl was? Like him, I could get glimpses of the true Lily, then her demeanour would change with an outfit or song on the radio.
Lily is a unique leading lady. I enjoyed the slow reveal of the characters quirks and the reality of her true self. Dylan is a good guy who is caught up in Lily's whirlwind. He is always trying to make the right choices, but inevitability does what Lily wants, which in itself was adorable. The duel POV helped me to feel Dylan's slide from annoyance then intrigue, through to friendship then lust and finally to love.
I really enjoyed Screwed, and I'll be looking out for more KB World stories, along with other books by Eva LeNoir.
I havent read K Brombergs Driven series so I don't know how that would influence things but I absolutely adored this story. Tinker Lily and Dylan, a bit of Serendipity and Chemistry. She is playing at freedom and he is trying his best to be a gentleman. It is witty and sexy and fun and sweet. Just bloody lovely, I wish it had lasted longer!
I was thrilled to hear that Eva LeNoir had written a romantic comedy in The Driven World and if there were ever a more adorable on-the-road story, SCREWED is it! Not only does her clever narrative draw the reader in from the word go, but it’s downright hilarious.
The playful banter flows nonstop, the unexpected shenanigans a joy to read, and I loved the way LeNoir turned Dylan Wolfe Gomez's story upside down. All this happens when hitchhiker Lily Steele convinces him to take an alternative route. So, what should have been a straightforward trip becomes a crazy diversion.
Despite Dylan being a tad reserved, he's a real softie at heart. I was bowled over by his sincerity and protectiveness, and how he didn't lose his patience with Lily amazed me. Hmm, maybe I shouldn't have been so surprised because she can talk the hind legs off a donkey!
Lily's loveable, unconventional and whilst her motives for self-discovery were understandable, I found her spirited manner a conundrum of sorts. That said, her character is refreshing. Wide smiles, witty and off-key singing is her to a tee.
The twist I never saw coming left me oohing and ahhing and if you fancy singing along with Lily, there’s a fabulous playlist. Screwed is a light-hearted romance worthy of reading. Bravo, LeNoir!
When you decide to take a road trip on the way to your new job, a road trip that is supposed to be relaxing and hassle-free and planned down to the last detail what could possibly go wrong? Well as Dylan Woolf finds out quite a lot when you find yourself travelling alongside the pocket rocket that is Lily Steele aka Tinker. She is his polar opposite. A free spirit who doesn't live by the rules and entices Dylan to bend them a little and in some cases a lot. It's a romance in every sense of the word and will have you giggling as Tinker has Dylan aka Virgo living life outside his comfort zone. She does warn him several times "don’t fall in love with me Virgo" and of course he tries but as their journey together continues it's inevitable they will fall for each other. These two are made for each other and if the antics they get up to on the road trip are anything to go by it's going to be a rollercoaster of a ride for years to come. If we take anything away from Dylan and Lily's journey together it should be beware of hitchhikers and what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.....or not because where's the fun in that ;)
I don’t know what I was expecting with this book, but I absolutely loved it! It’s sweet, steamy, and hilarious. Eva LeNoir is a new to me author and Screwed is part of K. Bromberg’s Driven World.
Dylan is traveling cross country from North Carolina to California for his dream job at Colton Donovan Enterprises. With a very set scheduled road trip he takes off, not expecting to run into a whimsical fairy distraction along the way. Meeting Lily, Dylan knows that he’s screwed.
Lily is on a quest to find herself, outside of her twin. She’s always been the wallflower of the two, and when her twin takes of to Paris unexpectedly she’s left floundering. Hitchhiking across the US is the perfect way to do that, what she didn’t expect to find was a sexy man determined to protect her along the way.
They’re polar opposites but they complement each other so well. The dialogue between the two is hilarious and their chemistry is off the charts. I’m interested to see if Dylan’s brothers will get stories of their own.
I absolutely loved this fun, enchanting, and sizzling romance! I am a sucker for grumpy, rugged, sexy southern gentleman, and this story captured my heart right from the very start! Dylan is leaving his family behind in North Carolina to take his dream job with Colton Donavan Enterprises in California. Dylan analyzed and planned every mile of his roadtrip, but when he meets the quirky, carefree, Lily, all his careful plans are out the window. Lily has been a wallflower her whole life. She is looking to reinvent herself and have the adventure of a lifetime. When she and Dylan first meet in a diner, things did not go well. After Dylan agrees to let her ride along to LA, these opposites help each other learn how to live their best life. Even though they are both so different, they fall easily and completely for each other. As their worlds collide, things don't go as planned, and secrets come to light. Now they must decide if they fit in each others lives and if their love is strong enough to endure. I fell so fast and hard, and became so invested in their HEA! Lily is bright, fun, and free-spirited, and is the perfact match for the grumpy, protective, honorable and sexy Dylan. I loved them together and their chemistry was explosive. Their time on the road was so fun and romantic, but it was after they arrive at their final destinations that the story really made me laugh, and swoon. Their story hooked me right from the start, and they had me laughing, smiling, and swooning until the very last word and beyond!
Screwed: A Driven World Novel by Eva LeNoir is a fun, romantic story. I loved her characters and enjoyed the humor and chemistry between them throughout their adventure. This is my first novel by Eva Lenoir, but it won't be my last.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this book but I definitely was NOT disappointed. The snarky banter, quirky differencs, and sexual attraction between Dylan and Lily were superb. Driven is dirty, in all the right was. You won't be disappointed with this book.
What a lovely funny read. A perfect tonic to gloomy, lockdown days. I feel like I’ve been on a road trip from coast to coast and Tinker Lily and her antics have made me giggle the whole time.
Me and Tinker have so much in common, we are both compatible with Capricorns, we both like Chris Hemsworth, we both like to match our outfit to the situation ‘matchy matchy,’ we both take far too many shoes with us, we both sing like angels. I just love her. She’s my book twin.
“He was lucky I’d fallen into his life to put a little rainbow in his otherwise gloomy, overcast skies.”
Dylan Woolf is a sexy beast. I can forgive his grumpiness and his rules about not eating in his car because any man who will dance with me to a bit of Van Morrison is worth the lack of snackage. The way he loves his ma and his little sister is heart melting, ah but don’t fall in love with me Virgo!
I’m still laughing at ketchard, cake and the double air fist grab. My heart will go on.
I loved K. Bromberg's Driven Series, so I was anxious to read some of the novels from other authors that have contributed to her Driven World. This is only the second book I've read in The Driven World and like the first one I read, it was really enjoyable! Screwed was a wonderful rom-com with great characters, lots of steamy scenes, lots of funny dialogue and plenty of happiness. It was an easy read. Dylan and Lily were quite the couple, both of them surrounded by interesting family members who added to the "fun factor." They meet at the beginning of Dylan's cross-country road trip. If you enjoy rom-coms, and I do, grab this one, settle back, meet Grumpy Dylan and Quirky Lily and enjoy their road trip to happiness!
Dylan just took his dream job with Colton Donavon Racing and he can't wait to get there. He is a stickler for a plan and he has one to enjoy his time traveling cross country to his new life. He's got a plan, he's got his car baby, tunes, and the map of where to stop. What he doesn't expect is his companion he picked up on the side of the road. Lily is out to find herself before she starts the next generation of her life. She is trying to find her real person and if she can separate herself from her sister. When she meets Dylan she knows there is something special with him. While he tries to stay on track to get to Cali she throws everything off. She's trying to get him to lighten up and he's trying not to throttle her. These two have fun banter and an even funnier trip. But it's their heart that will melt yours. When they get to their destination they are about to say goodbye. But what happens when some missing pieces of their road trip come to life? Oh, this story was so fun to read.
Dylan’s life is changing. You will need to read the full story in order to get a true picture on how that was accomplished. Just a small side note, I love his mode of transportation. Lily may be as quirky as they come. She’s one that cannot be contained. Free spirited are the words that come to mind upon meeting her. When these two meet, Lily is in the process of looking for a grand adventure.
I loved their banter. There was plenty of innuendo and laughs to keep the reader entertained. If you like lots of heat in your read then this author has got that covered. At times, Lily feels like she might be from a different decade. She’s trying to push herself into Dylan’s world and get him out of his comfort zone.
If you like romances where you wonder how the two are ever going to be of the same mindset to even think about starting a relationship, then this will fit the bill. The author has a very easy-going style that you can’t help but relax and get lost while she takes us on a road trip. But once we come to the end of the journey, I just wanted it to keep on going.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Dylan is a man who colors inside the lines so there isn't a whole lot of chaos in his life. Lily is a fly by the seat of her pants who does have some demons but fate decided to intervene on their behalf. He's taking a cross country trip to his new job when he comes across Lily, and while it's not the easiest journey since they're as opposite as opposite can be, it doesn't change the fact that they're actually perfect for each other. Dylan has been nicknamed Virgo by Lily who warns him to not fall in love with her, and while Virgo never thought he would, there was just something about Tinker at the end of the day. Despite Lily's seemingly impenetrable walls, they become friends before catching feelings but that doesn't' mean they're tip-toeing through the tulips...but to find out more, you know what to do! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Love this opposites attract Insta love romance. This was a sweet, funny, steamy story. Dylan is headed to L.A. to work for Colton's company, he has his itinerary all planned out on his first stop he runs into Lily at a restaurant. He thinks she is stunning but from the way she is dressed she's a hippie. On his way out of town he sees Lily on the side of the road hitchhiking, even though he doesn't want to he ends up picking her up. Lily is on a cross country trip to discover herself and she throws Dylan's itinerary out and takes him on one crazy road trip where the chemistry between these two are explosive. This is the first book I have read from Eva and I really enjoyed it. Look forward to reading more of her books.
I love Eva, so of course I had to read this book! As always, Eva's sense of humor comes through and shines in this story. We meet Dylan, ever serious, planner and grumpy. He is moving to LA to start working for Colton. He has a plan and nothing is going to change it..or so he thinks! He is in a diner when he meets this crazy chic lol..Lily appears to be his total opposite and he has no time for it..until the morning after, when she is hitchhiking.. These two are a lot of fun..she brings the spontaneity and the fun, he is serious but a gentleman and a protector. I feel like I devoured this story and couldn't put it down!
About two years ago, one of my friends and readers messaged me--rather enthusiastically--about the K. Bromberg's Driven and Every day Heroes Worlds being opened up. At first I was reluctant, not sure if I had the time to commit to a book I hadn't given any thought to writing. As stereotypical and cheesy as this is going to sound, the idea of this Screwed road trip came to me in a dream. The dream was simple, just a trip around the world (which became another book, The Wish) but in order for this idea to fit the Driven World concept, I needed to make it cross-country. Lily was the first to come to me. All quirky and weird and trying to figure out who she was beyond being a twin. Dylan, however, needed to be her opposite. I wanted this story to be a RomCom so I needed Lily to fall in love with someone who was going to make her scream from the top of her lungs: "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED." From then on, Dylan knew he was screwed and I had a blast writing their HEA.
I've read books from The Everyday Heroes part of K.Bromberg but have never read one from the Driven world side. But this was definitely an amazing start into that part of the series. Eva LeNoir has ways of making you want to devour each chapter quickly, but I wanted to take my time with this book.
I haven't read the Driven Series so not familiar with the characters that K.Bromberg created but I love this authors weave into that world.
So easy to read, romantic comedy's can sometimes be 50/50 with me but I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. A must read. It was thrilling, captivating and one heck of a read. 5 stars from me.
Dylan had a week to get across the country and start his new job. He had it planned almost down to the minute. What he didn’t have planned was meeting a care-free crazy tinker bell. But that’s what Lily was. And somehow, now she was on the trip with him. But she wasn’t going to stick to his plans, and she had a way to get him to agree to whatever she said. But what happens when they get to LA?
Eva LeNoir never fails to create wonderful characters. She has such an awesome ability to bring them to life in the mind of the reader, which is one main reason I will continue to pick up any book she writes. Dylan and Lily are equal parts quirky couple and fiery combo. I absolutely love their chemistry. And Eva’s attention to detail is spot on as usual. Definitely recommend!
Eva is a new to me author, that being said I will definitely be coming back for more of her! These characters stole my heart! I kind of want more of them and their lives. I will definitely be checking our more from her in the future and keeping my fingers crossed for more about these characters!
This book!!! I love this book and would give it 50 stars if at all possible! You won't be disappointed if you read it... but you'll sure be missing out if you don't.
Dylan and Lily took my heart. I didn't know what to expect with this story as this is my first book by this author. I was blown away. I loved every minute of it because it's refreshing, sexy, and funny. The banter and back and forth had me smiling like a fool reading and I couldn't put this down. I don't know why I hadn't discovered this author before but now I need more!
OMG! I LOVED this story!! It was not at all what I was expecting...it was WAY BETTER! The cover doesn't really give me the RomCom vibe but I was laughing throughout the entire story! Lily is just this free spirit of a girl who had me curious from the get go. I did have a little issue in the beginning with her manipulation of Dylan, but when he caught on and played her right back? Soooo good!! Dylan is a focused, goal oriented guy with a godly appearance that makes panties fall off. So when Lily hitched a ride across the country with him it was like water and oil in the beginning. Their chemistry is amazing!
Having never read any of the Driven series from KB, I wasn't sure how this story would go for me. I had no issues at all and you know I'm going back to read that whole series as well as the next one from Eva!
New to me author, I thoroughly enjoyed this road trip of discovery story. It was a real easy read, with loveable characters and a storyline that kept me turning the pages.
Dylan is about to embark on a cross country road trip to start his new job working for Colton. He has his itinerary all planned out included where he wants to spend each night until one stop at a diner changes everything. Before he knows it he has a co-pilot and she adds spontaneity and fun to his trip and all of a sudden he isn’t looking forward to their destination if it means not having her in his life.
Lily is used to be overlooked so she has decided that for once she is the one who needs an experience to share with her grandchildren. She is planning on hitchhiking across the country with her guitar and two suitcases but her trip with Dylan might just be the adventure of a lifetime.
These two were so much fun together as she forces Dylan to see the fun and enjoyment in the little things in life while he is the one who truly sees her and believes that she is perfect just the way she is. Fun and flirty this may be my first story by this author, but it definitely won’t be my last.
