This series is like a mafia story on crack, it's fast paced, it's dark, it's gritty, it's super addictive, the secret society and all it entails had for one wild read. I love these boys and their girl. I really need to read a book write up my review then start on the next book, but god these characters and this storyline has gotten its hooks into me that there's no time for stopping.
This is what I love the most about this author, are her book series over her standalones, and college age, because when it comes to mixing the angst with the drama this author is in a league of her own. She's fast become one of my top go too authors when it comes to getting me out of a funk and it's hard to believe that I'd only stumbled across her last year.
Book after book she's cemented why she's one of my unicorn authors.
So much happens in this book, the hits on her life get the blood pumping, but each time these boys step up eliminate the problem and protect her like no other. Her four boys each play such a pivotal role in these books, they knew her even before she knew them, they protected her even when she didn't know someone was helping her, they were just waiting for her to come home and claim her rightful place.
And yet again, those twist and turns had me spiralling!! This like the previous one ends on one mother of a cliffy but that's neither her nor there when the whole series is released.

Yes, I attempted reading book 2 regardless of what I said about book 1. But after Eden cornered Carver into helping her out because according to her, he "owed" her because she had to spend 4 days in a cell and had to sleep "alone", I'm officially DONE.
Bitch please. This guy stood against his entire family and changed his vote to save her and get her out of the cell! He lost his siblings and can't see them ever again because of siding with her! And what Winter lost was 4 days of freedom and sleep because FOR SOME REASON, THE LITTLE SHIT CAN'T SLEEP WITHOUT CARVER! Like how did she sleep fine without him, before she met him huhhh?! 🤦🏾♀️
I've never hated a heroine this much before. Ugh!!! I can't understand why this series is popular.

Way better than the first book. The plot twists and endless amount of drama; What more can you ask for? The cliffhanger left me reeling. Anxiously waiting for the next book.

My goodness- so much happening! More drama, more twists, more action, HOLY MOLY lots of steam, and a deepening emotional and more nuanced bond between our heroine and these delicious leading men.
After that crazy and shocking finale in book 1- things have changed greatly for poor Winter. Which is why I’m able to forgive her for grating on me a bit in this book- this is a heroine that is growing. She’s reacting to outlandish and unusual life changes, and we are quick to forget that she is still very young. She’s a bit selfish and self-pitying in places, and she’s just so stubborn. But, she has a hard past, and a confusing future- so she’s caught up in her own feelings because she’s still trying to make sense of what is happening around her. So, while I can give her some grace, I’m looking forward to her maturing, to learn to compromise and consider others. That’s part of growing up for anyone- but radically more difficult in the Dynasty world.
The guys on the other hand really grew on me. I found them sexy in the first book- but I felt like we didn’t really know them fully just yet, and we only really had a slither of a true connection with Winter since we had so many more chemistry dynamics to establish since this is RH. I find myself incredibly drawn to the evolution of Grayson as a character- there just seems to be a lot to him to unpack. And, King and Cruz continue to melt my kindle. And I’m so ready for Sheridan to crack Carver right open.
We also get more world building as it relates to this dynamic Dynasty organism. I had so many questions at the end of book one, and while Sheridan doesn’t answer them all AND we have new questions develop, we learn much more about this new world that has put Winter’s life in a totally different direction, as well as some of the key players. SA makes the world darker and darker- the body count is already high, and I feel like we’ve yet to see the worst of it. This is definitely Sheridan’s darkest book yet. But what is most surprising is the STEAM- goodness, Sheridan has taking the fire to the next level with all the sexy. MEOW.
Or course, in true SA fashion, everything we know is called into question by a shocking cliffhanger that will have fans ravenously knocking on SA’s door for answers. Danger, revenge, and an intense love seem to be looming- and I’m ready for more!

Are you super sure this is your first RH series?!? If so, please make sure to stay in RH whenever possible!! Not even kidding your steamy scenes just keep getting that much steamier! I cannot wait for IF and WHEN Carver gets in on this because that will be top level HOT!!!
Also another part of this book that I am falling in love with is the guys all go by their last names. I never knew how much more intense a book could be but when Winter gets pissed off at the boys and calls them by their whole name it is next level comedy. Kind of like when you were a kid and your mom called you by your whole name and you knew you were about to get it! Didn't know if you were coming back from this!!! That is what I picture!!
The twists and turns of book two will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat! Winter is constantly in danger or trying to be taken out. Every time they think they have the newest danger another one is popping up out of the wood work ready to try and kill her!! She is literally fighting the odds to keep her seat as the leader of Dynasty!
Then some more twists and a few deaths later and they are still no closer to the answers King, Cruz, Winter, Gray and Carver are all looking for! I will say though that I was happy that the progress between Carver and Winter went from holy crap is he going to end her to mild toleration with a whole bunch of sexual tension! But Carver is as stubborn as or maybe even more stubborn that Winter and refuses to share his toys like the others.
BUT GRAY and WINTER WAS HOLY WOW!!! Like each new steamy scene and I am like who is this about to involve who is gonna be where? Are they gonna be able to keep this up? My answer is Jesus I hope so because it's too good not to be continued!!!

Christ, save me from the stupidity and the ridiculousness.
I gave the second installment a go because I was curious to see if we get some character development or a plot that's somehow more intriguing. All I got was more of the same from the first installment. Mary Sue heroine. Ridiculous plot. More Mary Sueing. Stupidity. Drama. Drama. Drama. Sex that supposedly fixes everything, even drama from sex trafficing, and finally, more stupidity. Also, making your heroine curse, smoke and drink does not make her a badass. Having her sitting at the big boy's table and childishly pretending she's in charge makes her look ridiculous. A little humility and respect could take her a long way, instead of just barging into Dynasty thinking she's the shit because, well she just is the SHIT, the MVP, the boss. It's not tough. It's not a good female character. It's a joke and I think I've got permanent frown lines from reading this book.

I didn't like Winter. Her immature and coercive approach in trying to establish a sexual relationship with all 4 Dynasty heirs was off putting to say the least.
I get it. She's the head of Dynasty and they will eventually be the head's of their respective families so it makes sense that she, and the boys she share's an irresistible attraction with, stand as a unit however, if someone says they don't share sweetie, you're not entitled to be a petty bitch by goading them.
And that's the way she plays it over and over again. Honestly, it got boring after a while. I was like, 'I'm supposed to believe that this petulant twat is the leader of an insidious and powerful multi billion dollar legacy. I think not.'

I read about 50% before I stopped reading and put it on DNF. I did like to overall story (first and second book) but the further I read the more immature Winter felt to me. She was hot and cold constantly and very over the top at a lot of things, while others: like her abduction, the sexual assault (though not raped, still touched unwanted) and murder thereafter got only the nightmares. Even though she called herself broken and didn’t want to live anymore when she was in that cell.
She was petty against the boys and demanded things to go her way while she had no experience whatsoever. She also needed to be an 18 year old leader without ANY experience and set men ‘to rights’ who were much older than her and experienced in the game of, let me call it, ‘the dark side’.
I never really seemed to really connect with the characters. The whole building the characters and forming a connection between them came to a pretty abrupt stop when Winter got abducted. While that could have been a way to deepen the connection and characterbuild, it only made her demand more answers and want sex. In my opinion it was a lost chance.

Im loving the push and pull between carver and winter. The truths coming out i didn't see coming, and the darker side of dynasty isn't holding anything back. Loving this series!

Sheridan Anne. We need to have a chat about the fucking mammoth cliffhangers you keep pulling. Each one I read I’m furious, gobsmacked and left thinking that’s the worst one yet. There’s no way she’s going to be able to top that and then the next cliffhanger arrives and I feel like I’ve physically been thrown off that cliff! So I guess what I’m trying to say is
WHAT IN THE EVER LOVING FUCK WAS THAT?
I want to cry. Scream. Launch things at the wall. I have no words for how fucking amazing this series is. It’s phenomenal and hands down one of my favourites.

Anybody know where I can buy some chickens?
It all started on a dark and stormy night.....
Jk, so here’s the deal. I’m here to warn you good folks about this book. Yes warn. I started it at 6 in the evening, dumb on my part really, and can’t remember when I passed out but I definitely remember the phone imprint on my face from trying to cuddle the thing.
Damaged has quickly become a fast favorite of mine and dare I say.....my favorite RH read of all time? Yes. Yes I will.
Starting at the very first chapter I was immediately sucked into the action. Holy drama Batman! And sweet baby Jesus my emotions!!!!!!
I neglected food, water, children (including but not limited to forgetting to pick my son up from school and having to blame my nonexistent chickens for flying the coop).
Also, I have been in pjs for daysssss my guy. Legit took my daughter to dance and had to pump gas rocking my stitch sweats and football hoodie. Don’t lie. They sexy. Weird guy at the door with the twitching eye even thought so!
Back to the point here though, this book is addicting to the point you ignore reality and just readdddddd. Why? Oh, let’s begin!!!!
First off my girl Winter has survived and fought the darkest things. She’s still getting it too! Not only does she show up like a boss but shows out like one too!
Carver. Dear going to get punch in the (insert two tennis balls here because reasons) Carver.
I have never wanted to hate a character but love a character and then swoon over a character but slap him in his beautiful face character.... anyways. Yes. He’s there too.
Grayson. 🥵 ITS ABOUT TIME! Silent but oooooooooo bubba.
Cruz. Sweet beautiful Cruz. Always standing by Winters side no matter what. This man is a gush swoon factor. No doubt. PS. I’m totally claiming his mom as my own mom. I love her and I’m keeping her period.
King. The realest personality ever. He’s a jerk and owns it.
This book took the spicy fire level to 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥. Solid 4 out of 5. There’s no way this is SA first RH. This was written so well!!!!!
I know y’all been waiting on the finale commentary concerning a certain ending......
WHAT DID YOU DO WOMAN!?! WHYYYYYYYY WHATTTTTTT!!! WHO HURT YOU TO MAKE YOU DO THIS TO US! THAT TWIST!
Sooooo many words I wanna use but that’s frowned upon cause some sensitive wussies out there but DEMNMMMMMMMMMMM!
And with those parting words I say what is stopping you from jumping head first into this masterpiece?

This book, held nothing back! So much action, the drama, the emotional ride of a lifetime and so much more!

The first book blew me away but this one? Knocked that one out of the park! This was a whole other level and Sheridans writing game is strong! This one was so much grittier, the surprise twists definitely felt like a slap in the face and there was no shortage of unexpected, mind blowing scenarios happening which leave you at the edge of your seat.

Not gonna lie Winter irritated me in the beginning of this one. She came across as whiny and selfish, but maybe it was just me. i cannot wait for her to grow and learn to keep her pride and stubbornness from killing either herself or everyone else. I get wanting to show the enemies who kills them but She tends to only think of herself in situations and doesn’t take into account what others have gone through or go through to help her, especially Carver. Needless to say she irritated me a few times. But the rest of the characters were great. I love the misdirect of characters. I’m curious as hell about Grayson but at the same time I feel like what you see is what you get but I’m enjoying the unravel of his character and the progression. I’m interested to see how they all go forward in the coming books. The world build is incredible. So much elements, very vivid and outside the box. That’s what I’ve enjoyed the most. It’s not just a typical enemies to lovers dark romance there’s so much more and some elements you don’t see often.

The first book blew me away but this one? Knocked that one out of the park! This was a whole other level and Sheridans writing game is strong! This one was so much grittier, the surprise twists definitely felt like a slap in the face and there was no shortage of unexpected, mind blowing scenarios happening which leave you at the edge of your seat.

Not gonna lie Winter irritated me in the beginning of this one. She came across as whiny and selfish, but maybe it was just me. i cannot wait for her to grow and learn to keep her pride and stubbornness from killing either herself or everyone else. I get wanting to show the enemies who kills them but She tends to only think of herself in situations and doesn’t take into account what others have gone through or go through to help her, especially Carver. Needless to say she irritated me a few times. But the rest of the characters were great. I love the misdirect of characters. I swear Sheridan Anne is trying to make me throw something. I did NOT see that ending coming. It was a massive curveball that just slams into you and you have to read that part over and over to make sure your eyes are not deceiving you. This book was phenomenal. Winter had a lot of growth and learned to truly depend on the guys. You could see the vulnerability after what happened (no I won't say what since it's a spoiler.) I loved watching her relationships with Cruz, King and Grayson develop. I absolutely adore Cruz. He was her rock and seemed like her light at the end of the tunnel. King helped to keep her grounded and I love his character. I loved him in book 1 and I still do. Grayson surprised me the most in this book. I didn't really connect with Grayson in book 1, but that absolutely changed with this book. His character truly comes out and is fiercely protective over Winter. And who could forget about Carver. I love him but I seriously want to throat punch him at the same time.
All in all, YES you need to read this and YES it will suck you in and YES you will ABSOLUTELY want to throw something or smash something after reading the ending. I cannot wait for book 3 to see how everything plays out.

Sheridan Anne what did you do to me!?!?
Gahhhh this book was absolutely over the top amazing!! Seriously, this book sucked me in from page one and I didn’t stop at the last and was totally mind blown.
It picks up right after that MAJOR cliffy in book 1! And man oh man it starts out with a BANG and doesn’t slow down.
Who is Winter to trust in this new world she is living in!?!
There is violence, death, betrayal, blooming relationships, heartbreak, and so much more and that ending WHYYYYY!! I need book 3

It honestly keeps getting better with this series this 2nd book had me hooked once again. It continues with the drama, twists and turns and did I mention stream because oh yes there's steam too!! I love reading this journey Sheridan takes us on with Winter, King, Grayson, Cruz and Craver. Winter continues to show us she's a badas* girl but we also get to see a different side of her and I love that. So much action in this book you'll love every page. And that ending was omg definitely not what I was expecting. I can't wait for book 3 I'll be counting the days down.

OH MY GOD!!! You are not ready for this book!!
It picks up from the end of book 1 with that cliffhanger which was absolutely crazy. We then follow Winter/Elodie through the repercussions of her actions at the initiation... but the cray cray doesnt end there.
There is still someone or someone's out for Winter, and she and her boys are going to try and find out who it is...
There are some EPICCALLY (new word i just made up) SAUCY sexy scenes in this book and if this isnt your jam... just read it anyways because i can GUARAN -F***ing -TEE that this ending will leave you breathless ... along with wondering Sheridan's sanity and having her head thrown back cackling while she's writing..
you WONT be disappointed by this book!!!!!

I really tried giving this series and heroine another chance. Unfortunately this chick is exhausting, annoying and has a head full of rocks. She’s also like a horny chipmunk half the time-as if she’s not getting it this way and that every few pages of the book. I have to admit the book does have some smoking hot scenes but at the end of the day it’s not enough to keep me engrossed or giving a sh*t. Honestly the heroine being shot is not necessarily a bad ending for me or a bad place to stop. Damn I’m harsh but I just could not stand her.
The whole drama with Dynasty was tiring and still just a bunch of rich powerful men who can’t handle the heroine being in charge. Not that I think she should be in charge either but alas the escalating methods they used this time around to kill the heroine were beyond wrong putting children and innocents at risk. While parts of the story were predictable, scenes like the climax were supposed to be shocking and just fell flat. Again my total dislike of the heroine is what ruined the series for me. I think at another time or with a smarter heroine I could enjoy this series, but it’s a no for me from here on this one.

This Series!!! Captivating, Unique & Unexpected! Must Read!!!
This series holy heck, hold onto your hats, it gets better and better! After devouring book one and having a wicked book hangover for days and days, I needed this book so badly. I pre-ordered it and couldn’t wait until it showed up on my Kindle. Hence I have it now, and I couldn’t read it fast enough and I couldn’t put it down. The story just keeps getting better and better. Each book leaving you with so many questions to still be answered! This book in particular is no stranger to that. That ending again, my heart holy craziness. This book took me on a ride. A hot and steamy ride, one I never want to get off of.
This series is unique. It is different from any other story I have read. Dynasty is a messed up organization that has so many secrets and so many twists and turns. Just when you think you figured something out, you are thrown for a loop. The series and this book in particular are captivating, every word you read draws you in. Winter is strong, fierce and a force to be reckoned with. She was thrown into this world, not knowing what to expect. However, she is expected to be the best. If it wasn't for her 4 guys, having her back, guiding her to be brave, strong and loyal to one another, she might not be able to get through all she is put through.
The guys, the guys that keep me coming back for more. Carver, the strong, hot, stubborn guy who despite all that is happened is loyal to Winter no matter what. Cruz, the flirty, hot, brave soul, that will do everything in his power to protect Winter completely. King, the hot, protective, fierce lover that will do anything to take care of his girl Winter. And Grayson, last but certainly not least, the Strong overprotective guy that will do anything and everything to protect Winter, even putting his own feelings for her aside to protect her. These four guys, they are absolutely amazing! Super drool worthy!

I guess am a sadist cuz this series is torturing to read. So many plot twists don’t make any sense. At this point I’m just laughing at how ridiculous this is. Again I do wanna see how this ends so I’m gonna finish the last book if I can. These books are rated too high for what they are, in my opinion. It doesn’t help that WINTER IS HANDS DOWN THE WORST PROTAGONIST I HAVE EVER READ ABOUT.
Dynasty itself seems cool enough. A super organization that somehow knows everything and can get you out any type of crime you commit? That’s cool premise. I’m sure the author could have worked something out that would have been WAYYYY better than this.
Because what is dynasty really? We haven’t had clear answers to that question yet and we are at book TWO! When are we gonna get an in-depth answer to what it is they do exactly? How was it run before Winter?
Do we get to know any of these things? Cuzz a lot seems to come back to traditions of this organization which is just 3 generations old? How deep are traditions? Can we get any explanation why these traditions were made in the first place, and why they are still important to uphold?
Also what is Winter’s role as a leader of this prestigious organization? She is just there so that the “power”(crazy computers that can hack into anywhere, which is crazy btw) doesn’t fall under the wrong hands. Cool. She just be listening to old dudes telling her things that she knows nothing about and she can now lead them bc of her last name? This doesn’t make ANY LOGICAL sense at all..
I know it’s an erotica and you shouldn’t expect much but this is ridiculous!
Which brings me to the following point. There is SO MUCH FILLER SEX OMG. Every time miss Winter even thinks about sex, it happens like a page or 3 later. It’s the same every.single.time.

This is the second book in this series Boys of Winter #2 and after the ending of the first book I couldn't wait to start this book, but oh my, this book will also have you at edge of my seat read as it ends of a cliffhanger too. I couldn't put it down all the way through and the way that this author writes captivates me from page to page and now I NEED.. NEED book 3 A.S.A.P.!! I was gripped, this enemies to lovers dark reverse harem romance is a must read.
Winter is a strong and also very stubborn and strong minded and in this dark world of Dynasty she still has things tough with people wanting to kill her all the time, but she is determined not to let them win no matter what and I admire her for that.
Carver, King, Grayson and Cruz will do everything in there power to save and protect her no matter what.

This Boys of Winter series is fantastic, I love the way everything is going between Winter, King, Grayson, Carver, and Cruz. This story has me intrigued. The story picked up in this one and the twists and drama had me fully entertained. Audiobook narrated by the talented Kelsey Navarro, she did a fantastic interpretation, and I did enjoy the story more than just reading it. I now need the next one...
