Meredith Costigan has been charged with bringing Richard Belton on board at The Lightning Center. The Center is her family’s research and testing facility for people who have been struck by lightning, and developed psychic abilities. What she doesn’t expect is to be attracted to the handsome meteorologist.
Richard is one of the country’s foremost experts in the meteorology of lightning. He wants to be respected for his knowledge. He has a talent too—the ability to see auras. Intrigued by the job offer, and even more by the beautiful social worker who is attempting to hire him for the facility, he eventually takes the job. But as he and Meredith draw closer, danger threatens her.
Meredith fights her attraction to Richard because of troubles with her ex-husband in the past. Can their growing feelings survive their own personal problems plus danger?

She tries to stay away but she’s falling hard for him. When danger threatens her, she must let go of the past and give her heart to Richard…before it’s too late.
Lightning Strikes Again is book two in the Lightning Strikes series. This paranormal romance captures the reader from the very first page and doesn’t let go until the last page. I connected with the characters right away, both new and recurring ones. Meredith is a heroine any reader will love. She doesn’t expect love and tries vainly to stop it. Her inner conflict adds such depth to the overall story. The plot itself is character-driven so reading it allowed me to lose myself in the story. The romance developed slowly, allowing for full character growth, which was needed to complete Meredith and Richard’s story. All in all, Lightning Strikes Again is a paranormal romance I couldn’t put down. I’m addicted to this series and I can’t wait to see what happens next. Highly recommend!
When I start a new book, my goal is to not read it in one setting. It was very difficult to make myself put the book down!
This second book in the series, involves Meredith and how she was responsible for getting Richard to join the staff at The Lightning Center. Richard has a background in meteorology that the staff believes will help in their research. Richard also brings his own 'zing' to set the stage for more romance. Meredith has been burned by love before and is very hesitant to get involved with anyone. Richard has his own way of helping Meredith.
Great job, Roni! I am already looking forward to your next book in the series!
Book 2 in the series finds Meredith from Book 1 attempting to sway sexy scientist Richard to join The Lightning Center. Sparks fly immediately and these two had great chemistry. Their love evolves despite challenges from Meredith's past and Richard's doubts as to whether it was just sex or possibly love?? A wonderful romance to get lost in when the world is crazy outside. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for Book 3!
Enjoyed book two in this series on how people's lives are changed when struck by lightning. The two main characters are perfect for each other. Both suffered from bad relationships but found their HEA. Looking forward to book 3.
Very good storyline and very likable characters I have enjoyed this series very much. I would definitely recommend it. I can’t wait to read the next one to see what happens next
Meredith’s family runs a research and testing facility for people who have been struck by lightning and developed psychic abilities. She wants Richard, a meteorologist, to come work at the facility. The romance that develops between the two is genuine and heart-warming. Meredith’s ex-husband creates trouble for her, but all works out lovely in the end. I can’t wait to read Book 3!
